1 starAt best these guys are predatory marketers, at worst a scam. They sold my mother a warranty on a **** car, which doesn't even qualify. Like so many telemarketers they took advantage of this 90 yr old women.using fear and guile to wear her down to where she would give them her banking information. This should be considered elder abuse.Palisade Protection Group

Thank you for the feedback. To clarify, we have never had any interaction with the individual leaving this review. We can appreciate everyone's standpoint and opinion. This opinion in particular, has absolutely no validity, nor is it a reflection on our business practices. This is a negative narrative constructed by an individual who clearly was not present at the time of purchase. Our system is constrained to qualifying vehicles. We do not have the ability to sell a policy on any vehicle which does not qualify for coverage. If the customer who purchased has a question regarding their policy, we would be more than happy to assist in any way possible. Please have them reach out if any further assistance is required.Review fromJACKIE R

1 starHorrible scare tactics! I just received a pink mailer scaring with "Immediate ******************* ********************** Notification" in bold capital letters. I don't even have a vehicle. So Palisade Protection Group stop scaring citizens with your beyond poor scare tactics - this is not marketing - this is borderline fraudulent behavior!! To any consumer, do not fall for their scare tactics, they don't have anything on you, like I NEVER had any business with them.Review fromJamie F

1 starIf i could give this company a negative rating I would. They are in the business of taking advantage of consumers with various tactics that are unethical and unprofessional. They take money from elders that are only on social security and get their banking information stating they are affiliated with whomever the mortgage/vehicle was purchased through. That this coverage is required and they do not want to let the warranty lapse. They intimidate, scare, and are very deceptive. They start deducting money from their accounts and do not send the paperwork associated with what was purchased. The customer service does not answer the phones, and when they do and are asked questions get defensive and rude. This is elder abuse. Now that an attorney is involved we will be suing. If there are others that would like a class action suit, please let me know.Review fromRobert G

1 starPGG should be prosecuted for their unsavory methods to "scare" or con the public by sending pink postcards with our original mortgage company in the subject line. Furthermore, they use intimidating verbiage to make you think your policy may be expiring or has already been expired. Furthermore, they state that "our records" indicate, etc., etc., when we have never done business with them so there shouldn't be any record. Lastly, they close with a final threat with "In order to avoid Default and /or Foreclosure, we should respond immediately.Review fromJennifer C

1 starWe received an unsolicited mailer stating that our vehicle coverage was not activated, when we have a policy with another company. I do not appreciate the sales tactics of this company, and I imagine many individuals are taken by these high pressure methods. I would never choose their home or car warranty services as a result of these marketing practices.Review fromScott W

1 starThey also sent me a very misleading mailer they use whatever public info they can to make it sound like they work with your mortgage company and that you have not contacted them to "update" your home warranty (the one that never existed). They fully deny any intentional misleading their mailers may cause but know exactly what they are doing in trying to prey on those that are a bit more on the gullible side. For the majority of us that can see through the ruse we will never do business with you because you started the relationship with a lie. As far as I and the many others complaining here and millions that just throw the mailer away, you burned a bridge and have earned your abysmal BBB rating.Review fromBethany W

1 starThese people are grifters. They sent me a letter with "FINAL NOTICE" in red at the top. The letter states my home warranty for reverse mortgage maintenance requirements is expiring and their records state i "HAVE NOT CONTACTED" them yet to get my coverage up to date.I do not have a reverse mortgage, and my property is untraceable to me due to a trust.I live in an area with lots of elderly people, they mass mailed this out to everyone in my neighborhood in hopes that one of my neighbors may not have all their facilities and will fall for this.Disgusting business practices. Instead of tricking people, offer a good product and you'll make money honestly. I talked to every neighbor within a mile of me and warned them to not fall for this grift. This company should be shut down.Review fromCara L

1 starPalisade Protection Group has repeatedly sent me an extremely misleading mailer implying in large print to be affiliated with my reverse mortgage company which allegedly has a home warranty associated with the loan, which they then offer to extend by a certain deadline. This is specifically geared toward tricking seniors into buying their product with deliberately false and misleading advertising. Just for fun, I called their number and said, hey I wasn't aware that my mortgage company provided this, is that true? To which the operator I reached claimed it was. Then I asked if she could send me a copy of that warranty, for which she took down my email address and promised to send it. Of course, this is non-existent, so nothing was received. To cover their butts legally, they do have a disclaimer in VERY tiny print (which most seniors aren't likely to be able to see), that they are not, in fact, affiliated with the mortgage company that they implied up top in large print. Given their underhanded tactics targeting seniors, I doubt anything they provide is worth the paper on which it's printed. Shame on PPG. Companies which target seniors like this need to be stopped. BBB forced me to give this a star rating, but I'd leave ZERO stars in reality.Palisade Protection Group

Unfortunately, we disagree with your opinion. We do not target any particular group of people with our marketing. As you noted, there is a disclaimer on the document indicating that our company is not affiliated with any mortgage company and we did not imply otherwise.Review fromValencia J

1 starI received a Final Notification letter from Palisade Protection Group on behalf of my reverse mortgage indicating that I needed to "Please Call Immediately". I of course called because on the back of this letter it indicated and I quote " Financial Requirements for US Consumers with a Reverse Mortgage or HECM loan. In order to avoid Default and/or Foreclosure, all borrowers with a reverse mortgage or HECM loan must continue to pay property taxes, homeowner's insurance, and must keep the house in good repair."I continued with "you are receiving this notification because company records indicate you have NOT called to activate home warranty coverage for your property listed on the other side of this notice."I of course called and the lady insisted I needed this and wouldn't answer my question as to why I haven't had to have this in the 11 years I've been in my home but need it now. I kept asking are you trying to sell me insurance her answer was no, I would then ask what are you trying to have me do, and she wouldn't answer so I said I was calling my loan company to see what the was going on. Her reply was "go ahead".in calling my loan company she was as I thought trying to sell me home repair insurance but it's not required by my ************************ and indicated in their letter. As much as scammers are getting money out of people this needs to stop some poor elderly person is going to think they HAVE to have this in order to keep their home.Palisade Protection Group

1 starHorrible company that provide no coverage whatsoever. They send pink slips that you must continue coverage and take advantage of you. Using scare tactics to make you believe your mortgage terms are being violated Ig you don't get the coverage. When in fact this is not home owners insurance of any kind and will not cover the repairs like they claim. They protect you in no way and prey on the elderly and scam people out of there hard earned money. Canceling my credit card is the only way to avoid being charged a monthly amount after already making. Down payment.Palisade Protection Group

I have tried to reach the company through the email they provided in there comment here and by phone with no luck. They completely ignore my emails and calls get cut off. This is the only place I have gotten a response of any kind. What kind of company are you that that a paying customer can't even reach anyone let alone the "customer service department" seems there is none customer service with this company. And when/if a claim needs to be filed good luck getting any information on how to do that in a timely manner or at all. I was told I waited to long 6 months ago when my heat pump needed replaced and had to pay $17,000 for a new one which should have been covered under my "home warranty" which in 2 years as a paying customer never recieved a single piece of information about what I bought and what was covered or how to file a claim. No information at all. They got my money and that was the last I heard from them until they started sending me pink letters that I needed to renew because I could be not be in good standing with my reverse mortgage loan that they knew the name of as well. All letters were very intimidating and misleading appearing to be very urgent and required by my reverse mortgage terms. I just want to know what I can do to cancel this insurance that is useless to me as proven when I had a major repairs needed and they didn't cover it. I want a full refund and they are avoiding me and putting me off until it's to late and they will say sorry it's been over so many days and can't refund you fully. I'm sure that's why they don't respond and this is what they call customer service? This company is of no service to the customer only when they want there money.
