1 starBought two floodlight camera,1st one gave out in one year. They replaced it. The lights on the other stopped working, after 3yrs. Unreplaceable. Do not buy if you want something you can depend on. These are just more junk from ***** making more communists in ********** rich.Ring

1 starWe ordered 4 indoor cameras, an outdoor camera, and a battery charger. We received the 4 indoor cameras, but never received the outdoor camera and battery charger. Tracking showed that shipping was delayed but after months we never received those items. We called several times for months to try and get our money back for the undelivered items. We were told that they were unable to provide a refund and that we would have to dispute with our credit card company, which is absolutely ridiculous. The most recent time I called I was told there's actually a 30-day policy for making a claim which the items weren't even going to be delivered in under 30 days with the delay, so there was apparently no way we could have ever disputed with Ring and got our money back. They said that items showed as delivered (we received part of the order) but that the tracking details were no longer available (convenient!). I would recommend ordering from a third-party and never from Ring directly. Better yet, don't give them your money at all.Ring

2 starsThe camera battery does not last at all. The company charges you so much money for their service. I so wish I went with ADT. You have to make sure they are charged.i have 8 cameras in my house that I paid so much money for. Ring is NOT the way to go. TRUST ME .Ring

1 starDon't buy, shop around. I wish I had. The Ring camera is useless without a monthly subscription. They don't want just a one time purchase, they want to lock you into a recurring subscription that will eventually cost much more than just the camera itself. There's no local storage on the device (it's huge, much larger than a cell phone, and there's no reason why it can't support local storage). It also won't allow you to connect to 3rd party cloud storage either. Of course you don't know this at first because all new purchases come with a free 30 day Ring Protect subscription. 30 days coincidentally is the return period as well, so as soon as you learn that the device is utterly useless it's too late to return it. There's a serious delay from real time too, so by the time you receive the notification on your phone it's too late. If a porch pirate steals a package, they're halfway down the street before you see the notification. If a crime happens outside your house, you'll have no proof to show the authorities. We had a carjacking outside my house last summer so that's why I bought one, but really there's no point anyways. Consider other doorbell cameras.Ring

1 starReceived an email from Ring.com that my subscription price was going up. I SIMPLY tried to log into my account to review my Profile/Subscription. I entered my Email/Password and got a notification to check my Email for the Verification code. Opened Email. Said it was an unknown device, and instructed me to log in from my previous login device...so i went to my iPhone, Tried to log in, using Email/Password, and got a notification to check my Email for Verification Code. Again, it said unknown device and told me to log in....... ...... going in circles. I called Ring.com, they told me that they don't send Verification Codes by email...... ....what??? Then why I have I been trying to for 2 days now? They said I had to click "log in another way". The other way wanted my "Driver's License" information. Why, For what reason? They have no right to ask me for my personal information when I'm trying to log into my account. Under the guise of "my security," they are getting too much of my personal information for no just reason. I understand the need to confirm info, but getting personal data like driver's license is overstepping "security". I never was able to log in but I was able to cancel my subscription. Just imagine trying to log into your home webcam while on vacation and not being able to unless private information is disclosed. I will never by a Ring product again, and highly recommend people stay away from this company.Ring

1 starI will not be purchasing another Ring device. I currently own Ring cameras but have a security system through SimpliSafe. Well, I uploaded a video from SimpliSafe to the neighbors app regarding a security incident in my neighborhood and it was rejected multiple times, likely due to the fact that a SimpliSafe watermark was in the corner. They say they accept all types of media but there was nothing wrong with my post and it contained safety information regarding a suspicious character in my neighborhood. Do yourself a favor and go with literally anybody else (I can recommend SimpliSafe, although they do not unfortunately have a neighbors app yet). This company does not care about your safety or that of your neighborhood.Ring

1 starBought a new Ring stick up camera from Lowes but no mounting or security screws were in the box. Fought my way through Rings automated customer service to get to a person. The csr person advised me that I could buy the spare parts I needed at Rings online store or go back to Lowes to see if they would assist. Unbelievable! 1 starIve had the worst customer support experience or the past two days. It is very clear to me that customer service is dead, and no more so then with Ring. I bought a solar panel / camera mount for my Ring camera. I went to put the camera up this weekend and see Im seeing 5 little screws. Not s**** to put into wood or the masonry. I talk to Ring chat and was told to talk to Amazon (thats where I bought these items). I told her I didnt want to go through all the hassle over screws. Im willing to purchase if they can help me get the right ones. Needless to say, she was unhelpful. I decide to try customer support through chat. I literally sent them a picture (from the actual product user guide) of the screws I need and they sent me screws to mount into wood/masonry. I try chat again and the lady disconnected our chat because she couldnt understand why I wouldnt give her the *** address of the camera. Keep in mind the camera is not hooked up. The problem is not with the camera, its with the mount and that hardware I dont have. I call back one more time to speak to a manager praying they have the intelligence to help and nope. After this **** poor customer service I boxed up all the products and initiated a return back to Amazon. Seeing these comments and seeing Rings response to them, it proves my point that Ring doesnt care about their customers. I will give my business to a company that actually cares and wants to help.Ring

1 starRidiculous that you are required to pay for a subscription in order to maintain basic recording functionality after you paid good money to buy the stupid thing. There are better, cheaper options out there and buying a Ring product was a mistake on my part.Ring

1 starI purchased a new security devices from them a year ago and when one became defective they said I had purchased a refurbished one. I do not appreciate being called a liar by one of their supervisors. They sent me a refurbished replacement when I was guaranteed a new one.
