    Please note that though it can be disappointing, getting terminated from surveys is a common occurrence and a part of survey taking. It is possible that during the survey, as the survey providers were gathering information, they determined the member was not the kind of participant they were looking for, so they terminated the survey. This can happen at any point in a survey, regardless of how much is completed. Please note that Survey Junkie has no say in members getting disqualified or terminated from a survey and it is up to the sole discretion of the survey providers. However, to reward members for their time and effort we award 2 or 3 points for every disqualification. That being said, third party survey providers do not receive the information a member provides on a survey, if the survey is terminated, meaning a members answers are only saved if they successfully complete the whole survey and receive full points. If the member wants us to look at a particular survey they can contact us directly and provide the survey IDs so that we can investigate them.

    This company offers surveys for nominal amounts of money. As seems to be a prevalent theme among BBB complaints against Survey Junkie, although survey takers would ideally be anonymous, it seems Survey Junkie has elected to take the position of making it extraordinarily difficult to actually receive money it says you earn without specific government-issued identifying documents. Monies are then withheld until "verification" takes place which Survey Junkie delayed on my end for using an abbreviated name of a full name, i.e. "*** and ******," with no viable customer support available to remedy the situation in a timely manner. Rather, from the other BBB complaints, it seems despite the overarching themes present, Survey Junkie has elected to invest in half-heartedly defending the accusations on the BBB website instead of meaningful customer support or simply not withholding funds from people who may need a little extra cash in an immediate manner. Not only did Survey Junkie make it impossible to withdraw my funds without hassle, "verify" my identity despite a driver's license, or meaningfully talk to someone who could remedy the situation, after a useless e-mail response (though within 24 hours) from customer service asking me why the account name differed from my driver's license (i.e., "***" vs. "******"), ********************** then practically shut down my account so I could no longer earn money taking surveys or otherwise check on the status of the verification. Worst of all, the customer support number, which is not even readily available on the website, sends you directly to voicemail. Despite requesting calls through the website, being told I would receive a call within 24 hours to deal with the issue--which it said would result in resolution within "5 minutes"-- I never received a call that I am aware of, certainly no voicemail, and the issue persists with my account practically shut down. Though major issues, the rest of the website works well.

    In order to improve the security of Survey Junkie and its members, we are introducing a new process of verification which is Photo ID verification, which will be a one time verification tool for our panelists. As a quality and verification measurement tool -this might be required at any point of the membership, in order to additionally:
    a) verify the account ( regardless of previous verification statuses)
    b) to exclude the chance of the account being compromised
    c) monitor the quality of provided information (honest and accurate information about themselves and all survey questions to the best of their ability)
    This method is used extensively in the market research industry for security and quality purposes. Again, we would like to emphasize that this is a one time verification check that members will not have to repeat over the lifetime of their account. That being said, the member has since verified their account and they have been able to continue taking surveys and have since redeemed their points.

    Survey Junkey will not let me redeem my hard earned points I have accumulated, I now have to verify my identity. Nothing has changed but my phone number, I've redeemed successfully many times before with no problems. Now there is a problem! I'm trying to change my phone number, but that takes forever. So I can't get a response nor can I change my phone number! Seems they are making redeeming points so difficult to keep your $$$. I was going to use the points for my dad for Father's ***** but I'm sure it's not going to happen! Thanks again

    I have been using Survey Junkie for a year and never had a problem redeeming ********* until last December. I was approaching the $600 earnings in a calendar year threshold for filling out a tax form. I stopped doing the surveys so I would not reach that amount. Recently I decided to give them another try since its a new calendar year and I quickly did enough surveys to have enough points to redeem. Problem is, they will not send my earnings to PayPal until I fill out a tax form. They have responded to my emails but they are not addressing the issue, which is I am nowhere near $600 for the year 2023. All I want is my earnings and then to close my account with them.

    Please note that the member had approached the redemption threshold of $600 in the previous calendar year, which resulted in disabling of their redemption options until they would provide a filled-in W-9 form. However, since it is a new calendar year, they do not need to fill out the W9 form until they reach the $600 redemption threshold in this new calendar year. Thus, we have re-enabled their redemption option and they have since been able to redeem their full points.

    This company has a survey business. After filling out multiple surveys, you are supposed to be able to cash out after you reach $5. After trying to redeem my points several times (receiving messages saying cant transfer) and sending several messages to customer service, I went to their ******** page to ask why they wouldnt deal with this. They hey took my email address and didnt get back to me. This is supposed to be a way to make a a few extra dollars which is important to those on limited incomes.

The account number does not correspond to the individual identified in the entry, or the account number designated is not an existing account. In any case, the transaction is already automatically reversed, and the member's points are added back to their account. We have reset the bank details on their Survey Junkie account so that they can update those and redeem their points in the future.

    I have not been notified as to why my money was not received by my bank nor has anyone from survey junkie contacted me about how to attach my PayPal account as a different means of payout. They are negligent

    Good Afternoon, I am reporting that a member of the Better Business Bureau who is Survey Junkie is attempting to intentionally not pay me for doing online surveys for them. They have failed to pay me for two months and a half. No matter how I how many times that I have asked to be paid for work since March 31, 2023 to the present Survey Junkie has just ignored me. Please help to get me taken care of? Thank you in advance.

    I have been doing surveys on Survey Junkie and now they won't let me verify my account because they won't let me change my phone number to redeem my money. I have emailed them but nothing.

    I do make money on this site. The problem I have are some of the survey sites on survey junkie are not paying. I have brought this up and it seems nothing is being done about it. Some of them have error pages at the end of the survey and do not pay out. This needs to be stopped because it is fraud. I have completed the whole survey. It is a waste of my time to do that if they are not going to pay me for it. It is like an error page, not a denial of payment. I have to go to my saved favorites and re-enter Survey Junkie. Some of these survey providers need to be suspended if they are continually doing this. It's like getting something for free without paying the wage. That is not fair.

Third party survey providers do not receive the information a member provides on a survey, if the survey is terminated, meaning a members answers are only saved if they successfully complete the whole survey and receive full points. If the member has any specific examples of surveys, they can reach-out to ** directly and provide ** with the Survey ID, date or ********************** points of the survey in question, so that we can investigate.
