    I've been using survey junkie for a few years now and find that they often arbitrarily withhold redemption of points. I'm currently trying to redeem points for a $50 gift card, however, survey junkie is indicating that I need to send them a **9 form in order for them to do this. Per a survey junkie representative, I am currently only at about $200 in redemptions for the year. IRS guideline for the **9 form is for those who receive $600 or more per calendar year. Therefore, I'm nowhere near that threshold nor will I reach or exceed $600 in a calendar year. However, survey junkie is being unreasonable and withholding my redemption.

    We require a W9 form from our members when they approach $600 in a calendar year. We are required by the *** to report members that reach this amount of earning on our site, it is not an arbitrary rule determined by us. If the member does not reach this threshold, they do not need to sign the form.

    They run promotions to complete a certain amount of surveys worth 20 and over pts but then dont supply the surveys to take claiming no surveys are available or the ones that are put out are expired. Or I will get accused of not being honest in my answers. When you try to get answers from their customer service its on excuse after another.

    I couldn't redeem ********* because I had to verify my identity even though I had already done it months ago. After redoing the process and contacting support i was banned.

    I have been doing surveys for them for 5 years now. June 1st of this year they asked me to send them a w9 form into them in the mail, which I did on Monday June 19th.And I kept getting told that they have NOT received it, even though they have 60 employees that work for them and they have 3 fraudulent addresses which they say they run their business out of.

That being said, we require a W9 form from our members when they approach $600 in a calendar year. In any case, once we receive the required W9 form from the member, they will subsequently be able to continue taking surveys and redeeming their points.

    Survey Junkie has been will not redeem ********* earned for over a year now because they "can't verify who I am" for some reason without my sending them my state ID and a selfie to verify it's me. When I created my account, my email was different than my Paypal email. There was no mention on the site that both emails had to be the same. At the time I set up the account, my phone wasn't working so they couldn't text or call me. They are not a credit or lending corporation. I will not risk my ID being sent to some third party to verify and have my ID stolen and used online.

    In order to improve the security of Survey Junkie and its members, we are introducing a new process of verification which is Photo ID verification, which will be a one-time verification tool for our panelists. As a quality and verification measurement tool this might be required at any point of the membership, in order to additionally:
    a) verify the account (regardless of previous verification statuses)
    b) to exclude the chance of the account being compromised
    c) monitor the quality of provided information (honest and accurate information about themselves and all survey questions to the best of their ability)
    This method is used extensively in the market research industry for security and quality purposes. Again, we would like to emphasize that this is a one-time verification check that users will not have to repeat over the lifetime of their account. However, as an exception, since the member was having difficulties passing Photo ID verification, we have tried calling them in order to complete account verification via phone call. We have hence verified their account and the member has since been able to continue taking surveys and redeeming.

    On my account that is tied to the email address: *********************** I had earned 501 points. I had tried to redeem 7 days back. I no longer have that email address ***********************. I had contacted Survey Junkie about that and asked them can they update my email address for me on their website. They had told me that they are unable to change my email address & create a new Survey Junkie account & they are going to transfer my points from this account (***********************) to that one. I had did as they had instructed & had created a new Survey Junkie account with my other email address ***************************** I had contacted them from my account tied to that email address ***************************** They had told me to create account on a well known email address. I had created another Survey Junkie account with my 3rd email address ************************** I had email them from that account about giving me my points & me doing everything that they had asked. They had transferred my 501 points from that account (***********************) to the one with ************************** I still could not redeem my points. I had upload the front & back of my driver's license & had taken a selfie with my glasses off. I had verified my address & other information. I had told them that each of my addresses is connected to my Paypal account. I had emailed them about this yesterday. They had just sent me a message today saying that my account is suspended for violating their terms of ******************** is not possible & do not create another account on their website because it is going to be suspended. That is not fair. I had worked very hard answering their questions honestly & fairly & had given very confidential information in their surveys. All of this could have resolved if they just simply updated my information for me on their end or let me updated my email address on their website so that I could have cashed out my 501 points.

    Our records indicate that the member had multiple accounts which is against our Terms- they had created 10 duplicate accounts. As an exception, we have deactivated their other accounts and left their main account, active. As an exception, we have also unsuspended their main account. We recommend them to refrain from creating duplicate accounts as this is against our Terms and will result in permanent account suspension. That being said, the member can now continue taking surveys and redeeming their points.

    This scammy company will do anything and everything to make sure that they DO NOT pay you for your time completing their surveys! I spent hours staying up all night completing surveys just so I can afford a little food and water. When it came time to cash out, they supposedly sent a verification email to a very old email address that i did not have access to anymore. Even when i updated my info to include a newer email address that i DO have access to, they refused to verify it. So i made a new survey junkie account (which i didnt know was against their rules at the time) and made sure i only used the newer email that i have access to thinking it would make the cash out process much easier. WRONG! When i get slightly past the $5 cash out minimum i am told that i dont have the option to add my paypal account with no explanation as to why or why not. Okay well i figured ill just link my bank account even though i dont trust this scammy company so far but i REALLY needed the money for water and food. I jump through more of there "verification" hoops and STILL cant get my payment approved. Now they arent accepting my uploads of my divers license to "verify" my identity. When contacting customer service through email because getting a hold of them by phone wasnt an option, they told be about how i broke their "rule" concerning creating another account and that they wont pay me what i earned in the first account because of that. They said they deleted that account and left the newer one alone which, like i said, i still cant cash out from. To put it quite simply they really dont want to pay you for your time and hard earned cash! They just want to get your info and opinions for their own gain it seems! DO NOT USE SURVEY JUNKIE. They really need to take some lessons from the company Branded Surveys because they are actually doing things right. I have also been completing surveys with them and have not had any issues with pay outs. I would use them instead.

Regarding passing account verification, in order to improve the security of Survey Junkie and its members, we have a process of verification which is Photo ID verification, which will be a one-time verification tool for our panelists. As a quality and verification measurement tool this might be required at any point of the membership, in order to additionally:
    a) verify the account (regardless of previous verification statuses)
    b) to exclude the chance of the account being compromised
    c) monitor the quality of provided information (honest and accurate information about themselves and all survey questions to the best of their ability).

This seems like a normal complaint with them as when I ****** the term they used here they say this to a lot of users who are honest.

    Survey junkie is falsely advertising jobs for data entry remote work.I complained when I first got the email when they said all you have to do is click on this link and it goes to survey junky.Instead of going to an office to work and I just moved to Apple Valley. I started trying remote jobs because I just moved in with my son cause I lost my job and I am a speed typist size that that would be a quick way to get a job And I said it's going to work on my band that needs some repairs.I didn't realize it at 1st and this is only the last 2 weeks that when I was getting these emails. They were going to a couple different survey companies but I was mostly getting emails with links to Survey Junkie.I finally got Tech Support or customer support which seems like a live person and they said send a screenshot and I said I could do better than that I. Could forward to emails because the email says I forget in front of the email but the email is @ dataentrywor at home.com??While the support person is telling me we don't do did it into jobs it's only surveys. And I said well there's a couple of different emails. I've been getting one goes to a video 1 goes to a website and they both say. The name of the company is serve a junkie. And I explained that I would never do surveys again because I tried a few years ago and after filling out all the information I never got any money and I said I don't remember that we should company or not but I was constantly told I was too old because I'm a senior or I didn't. Live in the right place and they all do it after you fill out the information which I thought that was cheating as well. So I gave up.So in order to test it out because they were calling me a liar. The day before yesterday I applied Again for a couple of data entry jobs remotely And the only 2 emails I got was again. A slightly different version But got to replies that said survey junkie again. I forwarded to the support person for proof? Then no reply?

    Im trying to verify my account to redeem my award, but it keeps saying that my account needs to be reviewed, and I don't know if I have to wait or something.
