I registered on the Survey Junkie site a few days ago and have been taking surveys, building my profile and taking advantage of the extras offered to users. I surprisingly hit 1010 points today and when I tried to redeem them was informed that I have to present my driver's license and a selfie to verify myself. This is completely unacceptable because it poses serious risks for id theft. I need the company to provide a safer mode of verifying my id. I put many hours into those 1010 points. And, if that is all I get then so be it. Just get me what I've earned and you can close my account if you need to. Give me a safe method to verify my identity and allow me to redeem those points to my ****** account. The point value is $10.10.Business Response

I have been doing surveys with Survey Junkie for only a couple months. I have redeemed points for gift cards with no request for "verification" until this week when I tried to redeem 3701 points for a gift card. I looked up complaints here from people who have had the same experience and you stated that there is an alternative to sending a photo of a driver's license accompanied with a selfie to "verify" who you are. I am not at all comfortable sending a photo of my driver's license to **********************. Please assist me in obtaining an alternate verification process.Thank you.Business Response

I have been a member of Survey Junkies panel since 2016. I recently began taking surveys on that platform again, following a hiatus. On April 27, 2025, I took several surveys, generating $7.32 for my time. When I attempting to cash out those funds, I was prompted to verify my identity. Per the websites instructions, I took a photo of the front and back of my Pennsylvania issued drivers license and uploaded those images to the website. I was then prompted to take a video selfie, so that my face could be matched to the image from my drivers license. I followed these steps twice, only to receive a message (from Survey Junkie), informing me that I could not be verified. I then received another message informing me that a member of customer support would be contacting me with 48 hours. The following morning, I received an email from Nush (member support), informing me that my account had been suspended for violating Survey Junkies Terms of Service. I responded to that email, explaining what had occurred on 04/27/2025 and requested more information regarding what, specifically, I violated. On 04/29/2025, I received another email from *****, informing me that my membership had been PERMANENTLY suspended, for violating Survey Junkies Terms of Service again, no clear explanation of what, specifically, was violated. ***** went on to state that she would be closing my inquiry. My issue remains unresolved, and neither representative provided any explanation! Survey Junkies verification process is flawed and as a long time panel member, I am very disappointed in the process.Business Response

I received a gift card from survey junkie and went to use it at *** and found out from the manager it was fraudulent. I just phoned survey junkie and the person was very nasty and told me I never had one (gift card) and then slammed the phone down.Business Response

I have been a VERIFIED member since 2018 and always cashed out via ****** which also verified my ID. I tried to cash out and it said that I need to provide an ID card. I am not taking the risk of having data breached and my ID stolen to submit a verification which was already done. Email support is NOT helpful either whatsoever. I have submitted all the ****** info that shows I AM verified as well as the proof showing it's the EXACT same info on my Survey Junkie account. I am requesting my account to be unlocked and verified so I can cash out over $16 that I have earned in the last few days.Business Response

I have been a member of survey junkie since 2019 and have cashed out mostly with ******* cards every time I earned $5. A few days ago I went to cash out and it's now saying I need to provide front and back of drivers licence and a selfie. I am not comfortable with this. I just want the $5 owed to me (paper check) and they can close my account. If I would have been informed before I did the surveys I would have just stopped doing them and not wasted my time on Survey Junkie when I could be doing surveys on another site and actually getting my money.Business Response

I joined this survey site on April 11, 2025 to earn a few extra dollars. They advertised that you wouldn't be disqualified like other survey sites. It took me over 5 hours to earn $ 5 and when I tried to get my money on April 12, 2025 they told me my time had expired to claim my gift card. Their surveys are 3 or 4 times longer than they tell you they will take. Also I spent over an hour on a survey and the survey just ended without giving me any points. This website is totally corrupt and uses false advertising to lure people to use it. It should be renamed to Survey Junk. I can't believe websites like this are allowed to exist. Doesn't any one care that people can be abused like this?Business Response

I have a Survey Junkie account and have been cashing out from surveys for gift cards without problem. I tried to cash out to ****** and I had another ****** that was an older account and because it asked me for verification for ****** Survey Junkie is accusing me of having numerous Survey Junkie accounts which is false.
