I used SurveyJunkie for three days only. I won a bonus that put me over 10K in points. Well now I need special approval to redeem points and no one from the company has responded. I feel like I have been scammed spending hours doing surveys and now they have my information and I cant get to the money I ACTUALLY EARNED. Terrible service.Business Response

Aug 22 2023 My account was suspended for violate terms of service. Survey Junkie froze my Points that I earned from surveys up to that point. Total points was 866 worth **** usd. They would not tell me what terms were violated and would not release my funds.Business Response

We require a W9 form from our members when they approach $600 in a calendar year. We are required by the *** to report members that reach this amount of earning on our site, it is not an arbitrary rule determined by us. That being said, the member has since provided the required W9 form and they have subsequently been able to continue taking surveys and redeeming their points.Initial Complaint

The surveys continue to fail after Ive spent tons of time on certain surveys. Survey junkie is a piece of c*** and does not provide customers with an adequate resolution. They owe me well over $5 but they wont issue.Business Response

Please note that though it can be disappointing, getting terminated from surveys is a common occurrence and a part of survey taking. It is possible that during the survey, as the survey providers were gathering information, they determined the member was not the kind of participant they were looking for, so they terminated the survey. This can happen at any point in a survey, regardless of how much is completed. Please note that Survey Junkie has no say in members getting disqualified or terminated from a survey and it is up to the sole discretion of the survey providers. However, to reward members for their time and effort we award 2 or 3 points for every disqualification. That being said, third party survey providers do not receive the information a member provides on a survey, if the survey is terminated, meaning a members answers are only saved if they successfully complete the whole survey and receive full points. Please also note that the members account is in good standing and they have been able to continue taking surveys and have since redeemed full their points.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because I still feel as though I should be awarded some kind of points for the hassles experienced continuously from ** surveys. Ok, so you add 2-3 points to my account? That's $0.02 or $0.03 cents. Wow. That's really impressive.** should stay on top of their clients. If a survey issue arises, times out, or receive an error, that I not my problem or fault. It is the result of a faulty survey.
Please adjust accordingly and compensate me for the continuous inconvenience. Do your research. I am not the only one complaining about the ** platform and issues experienced while using your portal.

I am rejecting this response because it doesn't actually help resolve anything and they haven't allocated any makeup points to cover what was missing from my surveys submitted/partially submitted unsuccessfully. It is a pretty crappy interface full of bugs and problems that are reoccurring.Please issue some sort of points as a makeup for my time and dealing with SJ's weak APP and interface.

hello i have been attempting to cash out my earned money and all of a sudden for first time i get an issue with cashing out through pay pal. A message pops up saying "this paypal account is already linked to another survey junkie account.log in with a different pay pal account". this is false because i have only used used this paypal account the entire time have been a member of survey junkie. to make sure this is a system issue, i went ahead and tried a new paypal account as the message instructed, low and behold the same message pops up again. I have attempted to reach to customer service to fi this technical issue/malfunction so i can be able to cash out through pay pal as i normally do and they are not responding.Business Response

I have 499 points and must have 500 to redeem for $5. My account was flagged 7/28 and I never received anything that it was or why it was. I sent email wondering why I couldnt access the Surveys on the web site. I registered with them, they said they had to verify me and sent me a text message with a code. I entered the code and they said 'great, youre verified'. There ads state 'instant cash out when you reach $5. I reached $7 and it wouldn't let me cash out. It said I needed to contact customer service. They then put up something on their cash out page saying I had to upload a photo of license and a selfie. I have done this 6 TIMES NOW and it still won't verify me. And they already said I was verified when I completed the phone verification. I opened my bank account online and didn't have to go through thus much ridiculous BS. And they never mention having to go through any of this when you sign up, they ************** out instantly when you reach $5.' It's been 5 days now. I was verified by phone. I just want to cash out the $7 they owe next to my PayPal account like they state you can when you reach $5.Business Response

In order to improve the security of Survey Junkie and its members, we are introducing a new process of verification which is Photo ID verification, which will be a one time verification tool for our panelists. As a quality and verification measurement tool -this might be required at any point of the membership, in order to additionally:
a) verify the account ( regardless of previous verification statuses)
b) to exclude the chance of the account being compromised
c) monitor the quality of provided information (honest and accurate information about themselves and all survey questions to the best of their ability)
This method is used extensively in the market research industry for security and quality purposes. Again, we would like to emphasize that this is a one time verification check that members will not have to repeat over the lifetime of their account. That being said, the member has since verified their account and their account is in good standing and they can continue taking surveys and can redeemed their points.Customer Answer

Today, I did a bunch of surveys for this site only to not be allowed to redeem my points. I haven't been doing surveys since May (also my last redemption) and now they are saying to contact customer support except customer support for ********************** is absolutely terrible. They reply when they feel like it, even if the site says by the end of the day, you wont hear from them at all.
