    BeachBody has been renewing policy, with zero advance warning, receipts, communication re: upcoming renewal term. No invoice or transactional emails were sent, as confirmed by the customer care advocate. Request for amount billed without advance or post billing notice or receipt is being denied.

    Auto-renewal notifications are sent 30-days prior to the next billing date for Beachbody On Demand. The subject line for this email is "Your next year of results with Beachbody On Demand".

    I signed up for an Openfit Yearly subscription 2/25/22. Then, July of 2022, openfit was merged with Beachbody on Demand. I tried to cancel and get a prorated refund from beachbody since Ive had a bad experience and didn't want to support the company. After reaching out to beachbody, they agreed to a refund but stated that I would need to get it from openfit since that was who initially charged me. Openfit refused to process my refund and beachbody said that there was nothing else that could be done.

    Purchased the Beachbody on demand early this afternoon. Took my pre workout mix and got ready to workout. Only to find out that all the videos were locked and I couldn't use them. Called the 800 number 3 different times and they couldn't figure it out. The last person told the IT guy and he later told me that it takes a while. Then after waiting for 4 hrs I called them back and then they said it might be the internet on your tv. So I tried my laptop and I was finally able to start my workout, 5 hrs after purchasing Beach body on demand.
    So when you have something like this that you offer to people, like a workout video, people should be able to purchase it and stream or play the videos they want shortly after. It should not take more than 15 to 20 minutes to have my info processed and confirmed so that I can start my workout and move on with my life. Waste of a day.

    Beachbody fitness has charged my American Express and it is not an authorized charge. There is no way for me to contact them unless I have an account which I do not.
    I filed a complaint with American Express: this is not the first time this has happened.

Openfit migrated with Beachbody on July 27, 2022, in which all Openfit subscribers were integrated to the Beachbody platform.     The complaint has been filed to my satisfaction with a full refund issued. I don't think I ever would have revived a response from the company without the assistance from BBB.

    I was charged the yearly fee for the services today of $89.99. My coach is no longer with company, I was never informed or even corresponded with about being assigned a new coach. This is a predatory collection of membership for services I haven't even been able to access and would like a full refund in the amount of $89.94.

    When my coach left company, I was not informed and furthermore have never been reached out to by phone, email or even through the portal. Not only is this bad business practice but it's charging me for services I am not utilizing or receiving.

    On 12/12/2022, I discovered a pending charge against my checking account in the amount of $105.79 related to Beachbody. My spouse and I both have an active annual membership with the company, but have no made any recent purchases. On 12/12/2022, I contacted Beachbody to make them aware of the charge showing on my checking account, which I was unable to dispute through my bank due to the charge showing as "pending". I requested Beachbody to cancel this transaction to which they declined and suggested making contact with my bank. I am able to see where an order was placed on my spouse's account for an order of protein shakes for approximately $95.00 before taxes, but am unable to have the amount refunded due to Beachbody's policy that a refund can only be completed if the ordered item is returned (although it had just been ordered so it would have been an optimal time to prevent the item from even being shipped).

    I would be satisfied with a refund related to a fraudulent charge made against my bank account and an explanation as to how the charge was made as we are not subscribed to any automatic plans through the company.

    Contacted Beachbody customer service November 14th to cancel my Beachbody on demand service. I noticed I was charged for both my shakeology and the service, this was not the case with my previous subscription. Spoke with two representatives who explained that because I was outside of my 30 day period, I could not be refunded for the yearly subscription. I am only 4 days out from this 30 day period. I was also not informed that my subscription type/package was changing and that I would now have to pay for the Beachbody on demand service. The escalation department representative explained that it is solely my responsibly to read terms and conditions and they do not take responsibility for notifying changes to subscriptions or what coaches informs us. Furthermore he said coaches are not their employees and are customers just like me, so essentially he is not responsible for what a coach tells their clients. This is odd as the company makes money off their coaches' groups. I asked to speak to someone else and he said I could not, there is no one above the escalation department. It is clear that the company was not interested in keeping it's customers happy.

We have confirmed you contacted customer support on December 14, 2022, regarding the Beachbody On Demand charge. Our representative explained that the subscription originated from your Total Solution Pack purchase. You requested a refund of the charge and was advised the order is now outside of our money back guarantee period for a refund.

    On December 19, 2022, a refund was processed for the Beachbody On Demand charge as a one-time courtesy. Please allow five days to receive the refund depending on your financial institution.     I had been a member of the Beachbody organization for about 3 years. Last year I experienced some health issues which made me unable to use the product. My renewal came in July, I received the text that my subscription was up for renewal in June at which time I called to cancel all subscriptions/memberships. At that time I spoke to "retention" who of course tried to get me to stay I explained to them my reason for leaving and they assured me ALL subscriptions and memberships would be cancelled and no other charges would be made to my account. Since that time charges have not stopped, I was charged $100 in July and have been charged $15.73 every month since. I have tried repeatedly to have the charges stopped and have gotten no responses,. The last representative i spoke to told me they could not help me, and that there was no supervisors available and then hung up on me. Up until cancelling all interactions with Beachbody had been great, now they are rude, disrespectful and uncooperative. They have stolen money from my account without my permissions and refuse to refund it, they have acknowledged that I called back in June, but still no refund as they advise they downgraded my plan but did not cancel it (not at all my request).

    My account was charged for a membership that I never bought. I have no idea who beach body is, and would never purchase a membership. When the charge showed up on my money market account, I reported it as fraud. Beach body is STILL claiming I bought something from them that I never purchased!

    Beachbody is advertising a program they call "LIIFT More" to attract new members, which they are advertising online - including on YouTube, where they offer a sample class for free to entice people to sign up for their service.

    I signed up for a year membership specifically to get access to that program - but once I went to their site, I found that access would only be granted to those eligible for "VIP Early Access" - and the cost of accessing the LIIFT More program would be an additional $49. I contacted their text line and was made to wait 45 minutes as they failed to address my concern. I had a similarly exasperating experience with their phone representative.

    This is a clear bait-and-switch, duplicitous, and an obvious fraud. Nowhere on their site or in any of their advertisements is there any indication that they charge a premium for this program, as you will see here:

    Additional Note: Beachbody should know that I am a Disabled Veteran of the US Army - and while it is certainly their right not to offer Veterans any sort of a discount, they should know that we don't take well to finding out one of our own has been ripped off.

    The business responded and agreed to rectify the problem. They gave me access to the program they had advertised and committed to reviewing their marketing materials.
