    In March of this year I canceled my yearly subscription for Beachbody and it should not have renewed. Yesterday I woke up to a pending charge on my bank account for $179, I immediately called Beachbody customer service and informed them of the situation. I was told the pending charge would be canceled and not taken out of my account. This morning I woke up and the pending charge has gone through and was completely taken out of my account. I also called my bank who confirmed the charge was not pending and was a completed transaction and the $179 was removed from my account. I was on the phone with Beachbody customer service for over 45 minutes and they woman continued to tell me the charge was not showing up on their end, implying I was lying and told me if I was not happy with the customer service I could fill out a form and then she hung up on me. I had my banker on the other phone, both calls on speaker phone and my banker could not believe the rudeness and unkind customer service I received from **********************. For a company that claims to care about people's health they clearly do not care about other's mental health as I am extremely stressed out and worrying about the large amount of money that was wrongly taken from me. I am a Single Mom and every ***** counts and according to Beachbody customer service I am not getting my money back. This is a horrible company who does not care about anything other than making money however they can, no matter the cost.

    Upon reviewing your account, we have confirmed that you purchased a Total Solution Pack on June 27, 2022. The package included a monthly Shakeology subscription, an annual Beachbody On Demand membership and a 30-day trial of the monthly BODi membership.
    On August 8, 2022, you contacted customer support requesting the cancellation of the monthly BODi membership and Shakeology. Both memberships and subscriptions were cancelled as requested. The Beachbody On Demand membership remained active due to no prior cancellation requests.

    On June 27, 2023, the annual BODi (previously Beachbody On Demand) membership was scheduled for renewal; however, the payment did not process due to payment failure. On August 1, 2023, the annual BODi membership was cancelled, and no charges were processed. Our systems confirm that no payment was collected. Authorization holds are reversed immediately and may take 3 to 5 business days for some banks to process. Please contact your financial institution for additional questions related to the temporary authorization.

    I signed up with a company OPENFIT not even this company of BEACHBODY (I had the PX90 DVD Series years ago) and did not know they were connected. I canceled my subscription with a phone call. I was charged for a renewal that I never authorized. I contacted my credit card company and **** went on to the *** and it took me to a whole new ***, which my email was not even registered on. I called immediately when I saw a charge to my credit card for subscription. I asked for a credit for the charge I never authorized and was told it was past 30 days through the dispute with my credit card. I never received an email about the charge and was given snapshots from the BEACHBODY COMPANY how to cancel which again I never subscribed too. So I had to re-register to re-cancel I am frustrated and furious about this process. I cannot believe a company is so desperate to keep your money of hard-working individuals that were essential workers during COVID. I want a refund asap

    08/17/2023 I purchased a workout program called 645. Ive attached the receipt.The company Beachbody or BODi has removed this workout program from my library. Ive spoken with them and we couldnt come to an agreement. They only offered me a 10% discount which is a $18.90 value. I asked for a refund and they denied it. Im asking for a full refund as I made a purchase and they wont honor said purchase.

    The VIP Early Access FAQ mentions, You can only buy and access VIP Early Access with an active BOD or BODi membership.  An active Beachbody On Demand or BODi membership is required to view the programs purchased. VIP Early Access allows you to have exclusive access to upcoming programs that have not been released to the general public or general Beachbody On Demand/BODi members.

    Once these programs are available on the member library, they can be viewed with an active Beachbody On Demand or BODi membership.

    I cancelled my membership in August 2021. Beachbody charged me a membership fee in July 2022 and again in July 2023. They are processing a refund for 2023, but not 2022. I haven't used the platform since August 2021. I saw the recent charge and went back and saw they charged me in 2022 without my consent.

The order also included a Business Starter Kit, which is a Partner enrollment.

    On July 27, 2020, you contacted customer support requesting the cancellation of your Shakeology subscription. The subscription was cancelled as requested. On July 31, 2020, you cancelled the Nutrition Plus membership online via self-service. On August 2, 2020, you submitted the Partner cancellation form and requested to keep the annual Beachbody On Demand membership active.

    The Beachbody On Demand membership renewed annually due to no prior cancellation requests. On July 24, 2023, you contacted customer support requesting the cancellation of the BODi membership, mentioning you have cancelled previously. During the interaction, we processed the cancellation of the BODi membership and issued a refund of the most recent charge within our 30-day money back guarantee timeframe.

    I am rejecting this response because: I was not aware of the automatic renewal of my membership and had not used the platform at all during that time. I was sure I had cancelled the entire membership. It was only when I was charged again in 2023 that I saw the previous charge in 2022. I do not think it's good business ethics to charge for renewals without any sort of email confirmation or receipt, especially when a customer hasn't used the platform in a year. I went back into my email and could not find anything regarding the renewals.

Your business is an example of deceitful business practices, hiding membership renewals in terms & conditions, and making it extremely difficult to cancel.

Customers can manage their memberships and subscriptions online via self-service as outlined on the following FAQ: *****************************************************************************.

    Unfortunately,like most streaming service subscriptions, billing is not based on usage and or sent notifications. We assure you that there was no mistake made on our behalf and that youve only been billed for the subscription that you enrolled and opted into the Terms & Conditions.

    On June 13, 2023 I noticed that I had been charged $179.00 for membership that had been previously $99. I have checked my emails and never found one stating there would be an increase. I cancelled my auto renewal, but it appeared my whole account had been cancelled since it showed I had no active memberships. After being unable to reach customer service, I opened a dispute with cc holder, which has since been denied, and did not use the service. Found out today that the account was still active, but have not used for 36 days because it did not show up on my memberships. If it had been easier to contact customer service issue could have been resolved quickly. I would like extension of expiration to June 15, **** to make up for the days I thought my account was closed so did not use the service.

    When I first signed up for beachbody, their policy clearly stated that if I tried their program and canceled my membership. My membership will be canceled and i wont have annual payments.Well that was not the case for this company. Even after I canceled my membership they continued to charge my card every year. Since I didnt expect this, I overlooked some of there emails as I thought it was advertisement emails. *** tried to contact them to get a refund and they stated that when I initially signed for membership I opted for auto renewal . They are completely ignoring the fact that I canceled my membership the first time. To make the matters worse the auto renewals are more expensive than the initial charges. Ive checked on ****** and other customers have posted reviews of similar complaints with this company. This is very fraudulent and wrong because we are not consenting to these payments after canceling the membership. They sent me an email saying I hadnt canceled however on their website it clearly showed that my membership was canceled. And I have some screenshots to show. I need a full refund for the 2 years they charged my card without my consent even after I canceled my membership.     I thought I cancelled to Beachbody LLC. I cancelled as soon as I discovered the charge on my credit card bill statement.I contacted Beachbody and was told I needed to fill out a policy dispute form (Incident: 230703-000471) since my request for cancellation was beyond 30 days. From the form (partial message):"Hi, I thought I cancelled my membership last year. Imagine my surprise when I saw not only a charge on my most recent credit card statement, but the annual fee had gone up $80.I cancelled my membership as soon as I saw the charge. I am looking to receive a refund. I would like a full refund or at least a prorated refund (from the day I cancelled)."I did contact Beachbody right away and was told by customer service on July 3, 2023 that in order to receive my refund I would have had to cancel within 30 days of the charge. Per my calculation I cancelled on day 34. I sent a message to Beachbody that included "I hope you can allow this extension as I did not see the charge until day 34."I received an email from Bodi on July 4th to indicate my request for an exception (and therefore a refund) was denied. Perhaps the most upsetting was the non sympathetic and heavy legal jargon that explained I signed any courtesy/exception away. Included in that response was a message to indicate that I opened up the message on April 22nd that explained the changes and the updated charges. I looked through my emails and saw that i in fact did NOT open that email. See attached for the partial message.I am seeking a full refund.

    I purchased a beachbody bike in November of 2021. Since then, Ive had nothing but problems and horrible customer service. First, my tablet didnt work. For MONTHS customer service blew me , they kept trying to tell me it was my internet connection despite me repeatedly showing them that my internet speeds were well over 100 mb/s. Finally, after threatening legal action, they sent me a new tablet. The tablet works occasionally but still has the same issues. Two weeks ago, I was riding the bike and the pedal snapped off causing me to twist my ankle. As I was attempting to put the pedal back on I realized the threads were stripped on both the pedal and the crank. I contacted customer service after I found out that there was a recall on the bike for this very problem. I was never alerted to this recall. **************** assured me that someone would be contacting me to schedule a repair. No one ever contacted me instead they closed my ticket. When I contacted customer service again and informed them of this, they said no to take it had ever been created, and they assured me someone would reach out. Someone finally reached out and asked me which pedal broke off and what my shipping address was. When I attempted to reply to the email, the email address they provided got a bounce back I have not been able to contact anyone at customer service. No one has responded to me, and I have reached out on social media as well with no response, this is unacceptable and I would like a refund of the purchase price of the bike now that I have to get rid of a bike that I cant use and I will have to pay someone to remove it and recycle it.

    Beachbody or Bodi or whatever they choose to call themselves has taken my credit card from the company OpenFit and charged my card. Openfit closed. The app went away and the service I used for home workouts went away with them. Beachbody or **** said they merged with them and had every right to take my credit card data from OpenFit and use it along with my auto renewal and charge me for their services. I have never had a Beachbodi account. I never got an email about the merger. I never got notice of the charge upcoming on my account or asking if I wanted to join or move over my membership. They are lying. THey have no right to take my credit card on file with another company, that company closes, and they just make me a member. This is ridculous. I can't believe they are still in business. They won't even send me notice of my cancelattion (even though I never had a membership in the first place). I know they will just charge my card the next year - and be like you never cancelled. Cause they won't send me anything in writing that I cancelled. This is insane. You have to do something about this company.

    I signed up for a year to Beachbody in 2022 and they sent me a confirmation. After one year, without any warning prior to the renewal date, they charged me 150% of the previous year's price for the next year (2023). When they charged me, they did not send any email indicating that I had been charged and the only way to discover this was to look at my credit card bill. I now see that they also do not provide any way on the website to speak with someone and would like a refund for this next year - a subscription which I do not want and never asked for!
