    I was with T-mobile and had my iphone 14 paid off so i wanted to find a cheaper phone option to save money. Mint mobile seemed perfect since its $30/month on T-mobile towers that i liked and also the website said it had a free 7 day trial. I tried the trial loved the service. The app said i could port my old # in which i did wanting to buy mint mobile. When i did port my phone number in and my phone went into sos mode and the mint mobile app glitched and took me off my free trial stats screen. so i had to call support and see whats up. I was told to buy the unlimited plan since i wanted unlimited data to get my ported phone number in service and off of free trial. So on the phone with the *** she told me to buy the plan a did only for her to say she didnt see it on file. I checked my email and it had a confirmation number but i was told my old phone number thats on the free trial cannot be upgraded. I was told the order # i gave went to somewhere else. Where it went to i dont even know, they took my money and offered a refund taking 7-10 business days. I tried to get my number ported out cause i have to keep my number for work since i doordash and all my apps need my phone number for verification. After 12 hours of calling chatting. Im stuck with my phone on free trial, my phone number is held hostage and cannot be ported out, customer service tells me its a glitch in the system and that i cant use my phone number anymore and have to use a new phone number. I cant use a phone number since everything is built around my old. I couldnt do doordash today to make money to get a new phone plan anyways. They took $98.75 from my bank account and left me with $30 to my name with no phone service. I cant do doordash to work to pay my bills so i guess im going to be homeless now due to mint mobile not making it simple and easy to switch. Im stuck in this loophole nightmare and my life is going to financial ruin. 1/10 stars for stealing my phone number and my job. Thanks.

    Aggressive advertising says how cool they are, and how bad and overpriced other providers. And how pathetic the reality is.First of all, the connection quality is pretty poor, at least in **. Sometimes the internet traffic is very slow, even in the populated and central parts of the city.Second, they just take your money and don't provide a service. I'm referring to adding the data when your monthly amount is used. They literally take your money for additional data right before the monthly renewal and purposefully burn it, leaving you with just the monthly amount. They call it "care for customers that urgently need additional data". About the rest customers who just spent 20 dollars for nothing, they don't care at all.Third, their chatbot is extremely stupid and it's forced on you. You have to fight it every time you are trying to reach out for at least an explanation. And when you get through, you better didn't. Because people promise you to take care of everything. Then they make you wait, then they ask you to reboot a phone. You do that, the session with the support closes, nothing is fixed, you go to the chat again and you have to fight the guard-bot again. After that you get to another agent that also promises to solve everything. And after you explain everything from different angles, you wait and then you start receiving stupid questions about the things you've just explained. The chat freezes, the session closes - another fight with the guard-bot and only after that another agent (of course after promises to help and resolve everything) finally gets to the point - they just take money and they don't add the burnt data back or refund anything. Basically, taking money and not providing anything is called "scam". So since they love to rip off a quick **** and take hold of it instead of a long-term relationship - I'm out. I'm changing the provided and they will never receive any money from me again.

    1. Terrible coverage. Its like the early days of the internet. I have to stand in a single place in a room or the call cuts out. 2. They didnt transfer the second number over they they said that had in a very long porting out call, and the previous company kept charging me. 3. I tried to contact them and the chat erased my messages. I was trying to CHAT bc when I called I couldnt get a human being and then the call dropped me. 4. Then I saw that they were experiencing an outage and were unavailable.

    We paid for 3 months of service and the just denied me to get a refund after they couldnt turn my sons phone on. What a scam. That is terrible. I didnt use not one day of service and spent 55$ . What a waste .

    I paid in advance for a phone and Data unlimited text and minutes for 1 year. If I call someone I can hear them but they can't hear me. If my Data runs a little low I can't get texts or phone calls. I try to contact them they blow me off. I did get to talk to a human being 1 time he said be patient the cell tower is down. That was October 9th. They asked me if I would recommend mint mobile to my friends I said no but I tell people I don't like about the crooks.

    I signed up for 3 lines with **** and couldn't even get the first line activated. I requested a refund and after many attempts, was only able to get 2 lines refunded. I have made many calls and efforts including disputing charges with Discover, all to no avail. I could write a book about how bad their customer service was, but the bottom line is: as far as I am concerned these people are crooks. Deal with them at your own risk.

    Guess I should've checked here first before switching, or should I say trying to switch from ****.Even though they knew my phone was still locked from **** and it would take 48 hours, mint went ahead and ported my number over without telling me causing my phone to stop working.They're only solution was for me to go 48 hours with no phone.And this is on top of the fact that their live chat on their website was nonfunctional today, and their help page on their website just gave a 404 error message.Apparently they spend all their money paying **** ******** to do the ads and not on actual customer service or technical support.I just had an overall incompetent experience all the way around with them and would rather pay more Than to give them my hard earned money.Just avoid them like the plague.

    I signed up for Mint Mobile 10 days ago and it worked fine, then on day 10 I stopped getting signal at home and couldn't make phone calls/send texts. I called Mint Mobile customer service and they sent me on a wild goose ***** including calling ***** to find out if there was a hardware issue with my iPhone (there wasn't). I then had to call back to Mint Mobile and the new *** asked me all the same questions as the first ***, then told me there's a Mint Mobile service outage in my area. She didn't proactively give me any info on what I'm supposed to do to send/receive calls and texts, offer compensation for wasting multiple hours of my time and leaving me without service, and also said there isn't any way for me as a Mint Mobile customer to even know when there's an outage in my area, without calling in. Worst experience ever. I had T-Mobile for over a decade and never ever had any such issue.

    I have spent hours on calls with Mint mobile. Representatives are apathetic to the customer. They read a script and quote policy. Representatives researching my case say they will call with a response within a time frame and do not. This lack of response shows the lack of integrity this company holds. Everytime I call I am told I never ordered a phone or an eSim. It takes 20- 60.mimutes for a *** to research and find my order but not before belittling the customer. I was quoted my 7 day window expired to return the phone. I stayed with the service and had another issue, so I decided to port to another carrier service. Now my minor son is traveling out of state with a locked phone I can not return! The generic customer service email will not return my emails. I have called and been given the brush off that someone else is handling this case. MINTMOBILE Cares has not responded in 12+ hours. I was told my case would be expedited to 244 hours. It is now nearly 48 hours. I have a new provider yet can't activate the phone. My phone is still locked. I just want to give warning to others. The service is great until there is any kind of problem. I do not recommend using this company. It's been a nightmare and did not save me money.
