    I have had Mint Mobile service for 1 1/2 years and brought my own phone. My phone crashed on 12/22/23 and I could no longer turn it on and lost all information. I contacted Mint to see if it could be recovered with my e-sim. Yes, they said. So I purchased a new phone through Mint Mobile site on 1/1/24 and paid for overnight shipping. It arrived on 1/4/24. I began to set up my new phone only to find it is locked by Mint Mobile and e sim cannot be installed. My husband and I have contacted them 8 times since 1/4/24 and we cannot get ANY HELP. We would now like to return the phone but they said we need to call ******* WHICH makes zero sense and is also not beneficial. I have now been without a phone or service for two weeks and have purchased/paid for a phone from MINT Mobile that does NOT work and they will not help do a return or unlock the phone. Please advise.

    I experienced water damage to my phone which had an eSIM from Mint Mobile. Without physical access to the phone, I couldn't use my number, and Mint Mobile, lacking physical stores, informed me it would take at least 48 hours to expedite a physical SIM card. This solution wasn't viable as I was traveling to another city and needed an operational phone number for communication.Given the urgency, I decided to port my number to a different carrier that could provide immediate service. I requested a refund from Mint Mobile for the remaining months I wouldn't be using their service, but they declined, failing to acknowledge my unique circumstances. If I had not been traveling, perhaps waiting for the new SIM would have been an option.Unfortunately, their response was rigid, adhering strictly to policy without offering a resolution. My customer service experience was disappointing; the hung up the call on me, and the background noise suggested the support was outsourced. This left me wondering if my account had been flagged in some way due to my decision to leave their service.Initially, Mint Mobile's customer support was ok, but it seems to have gone down significantly. It's a reminder that with Mint Mobile which is a cost saving service, you may end up with subpar service. If cost-saving isn't a priority, it might be wiser to consider other carriers that offer better customer support. Also they didn't have a great network that you are led to believe the network is great at the start but becomes really bad afterwards making it difficult to continue calls as you lose service and have to move from one part of the house to the other, you pay for what you get. cheap is expensive.

    This company does NOT listen and create more problems for its customers. This consumer has cost me my job because of bad service, and it wont refund me my money bank. The supervisors and customer service agents are saying how sorry they are about what has happened, but its all empty words. Just like when I called and reported the problem, and the agents promised, assured me that they will fixed it and never did. Supervisors and customer service agents at Mint wont refund me. I WANT MY MONEY ?? BACK.I transferred my phone line to your carrier on November 15th, 2023. That same day, I made a request to have my number transferred to Mint Mobile from Metro PCS. The number got transferred, but I notice the same day that it got transferred that I couldnt send text messages to people who were not using iPhone with iMessages on their phone. That was a serious problem for me because I use my phone for work communication, and not everyone at my job has an iPhone. Even worse, I could receive text messages from everyone, from all types of phone, but I couldnt respond to text messages not from iMessage. To people, it looked like I was ignoring them. I couldnt respond to an SMS text even from your company. I could only send text messages to Mint on the Mint app. I immediately called and reported the problem and requested that it be fixed immediately, and I explained why I needed it resolved quickly for my work sake. The Mint agents gave me their promises that they will fix the issue, and those promises turned into the run around, and instead of fixing the issue quickly, they dragged the situation until weeks passed and the issue was still not resolved, and I have to keep giving managers and supervisors excuses as to why I am not responding to their messages, not communicating as I should, and other work matters that I used the phone for not done. I mint NEVER fixed the problem, and finally my job fired me because managers and supervisors couldnt communicate with me.

    I ordered a SIM card that never arrived, and was told by a customer service agent that I would receive a refund. It has been over a month since and I have received nothing. Not a refund, or a SIM card. I have tried to speak to customer service agents several times but have gotten nowhere.

    Horrible money grab experience. $15 / mo they BLAST out. Yet somehow the charge your card for $125 dollars. Well that during that month the cost is $125 for that month. Additionally over a 3 month average that is a cost of $41.67. Story just starts there... at day 7 we fill out the form to cancel/ refund. 2 days later we reach out to check on the status. **************** rep we speak to says " It looks like it wasnt processed, but I will process it now for you". Follow up again .... take a guess.. Sorry your refund was submitted outside our 7 day policy ( only because the form and ******* failed to do what the job). SO in my opinion they just rip people off anyway they can and treat their customer like c*** all while showering them with golden lies.

    Mint Mobile is a company that cannot be trusted and cannot fulfill its promotions. They do false advertisements on different platforms. At the end of 2023, they advertised an additional 3 months of service for the new customers if you only placed an order by December 31. I placed my order on December 30 for digital eSim delivery but never received it. I called them a few times with no results. They told me that I should get it any moment, but I never received it. On January 3, they canceled my order and could not honor this promotion despite technical difficulties. They dont stand behind their promotions and dont care about their reputation, low moral values company. It should be avoided by all means. The current 1.14 out of 5 rating accurately represents this company.

    If I could leave ZERO STARS I would. I just paid for six months of service for 4 lines. A decent chunk of money for all unlimited plans. BEWARE! I totally understand that when I use up mY 40gb of 5g my speed will slow. What is not advertised is that it slows all the way to 512kb!!! My 4 lines are now utterly useless! Even the Mint Mobile app won't load all the way! Evidently this information is included in your account information's fine print. Unacceptable! This needs to be addressed BEFORE paying for service. Who, in this day and age, wouldn't assume speeds at which we can use all the features we need? Now, I am 2 weeks into my 6 months, which is too late to be granted a refund. Mint Mobile's recommendation for remedy this issue? Pay for more data! Why would I even consider paying $20 more a month for only *********************************************************************** a few days by going back down to 512kb? Now I can't receive a refund, which is what I would like because I no longer wish to patronize this company and my family will only be able to enjoy their phones approximately half of each month. Pathetic. Two very enthusiastic THUMBS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!

    To begin, it took over 6 hours of phone calls to get 2 lines set up on Mint Mobile. I needed to reorder a second sim as to whoever took the order, sent a card off to an unknown address. I had a terrible time, making the representative(s) understand that I was the primary account owner. I was moving 2 lines under the Family plan to Mint Mobile. Following the 3 easy steps in which it says to activate the non-primary account holder first. The last phone call with a representative assured me everything was ready to transfer. The new Sim card was installed for one line. I reiterated that I wanted to do one phone line at a time and would call the next day to do the second line. I cannot explain how tiring is to speak with people that are following their scripts and not using their heads. Besides the numerous issues with just trying to get SIM cards, clarifying the processes, and continually explaining that I was the primary account holder, all the paths and conversations kept going to the secondary account.My decision to finally cancel my relationship with Mint Mobile occurred for two reasons. While I had purchased 5 gigs per phone line based on previous experience, I was harangued into acquiring an additional 1 gig for the second line. I did this because both lines are fully engaged into caring for my mother. My nephew was in a location where service dropped leaving him stranded. This is not acceptable service. Having connections that are not reliable interferes and causes undue stress on those of us care-taking elders.When I called to cancel my relationship with Mint Mobile I was told, there would not be any pro-rating for the plans I had purchased. Really, what kind of customer loyalty plan is that?To date I have spent: monies for initial SIM cards - $115.64, Purchase of 2 data plans at $120 each totaling $240, Purchase of an additional 1 gig of line $10.5 - Totaling - $366.14 I am requesting a pro-rated refund on the data plan fees.

    I feel like I was mislead by Mint mobile. I bought the 3 month at $15.00 for $45.00. I was under the impression this was the standardized contract for the length of the service. Today, January 1, ****. I was asked for my credit card information, then a recording told me the service fee was $75.00 - $25.00 per month. It did not tell the price beforehand. That the same plan ************************* seduced me to buy into his mobile service plan. I am not going to accept this bate and switch marketing ploy. ****, you're wrong for NOT being transparent in your commercial. You should explain, that after the 3 month service. The pricing will balloon almost double the initial pricing. Now, I have to wait 7 business days for my money to be released. And I now need to explore another carrier with a more open pricing value up front. **** I wish you well in this endeavor. But I refuse to be Pimped !!!

    My wifes new phone has been nothing but a nightmare to set up. We transferred the eSIM to her new phone and it immediately stopped working. She was on the chat feature for 5 hours before they elevated her issue to the back office and said she would get a call in ***** hours. I called this morning and ended up having to call back 3 times because I was hung up on once, the other one didnt know what to do, the third one tried very hard to help but ended up saying I would get a call by the back office. I get a call from the back office at work, they tell me to update IOS and that will fix the connection. It did not, so I call back and I have to start all over again with the customer service desk. This is ridiculous, not everyone has time or can sit waiting for a call to fix a problem. I was at work and could not talk to the representative, and my wife cant receive calls obviously because of the problem. So I called again, and was hung up on again because it hit 10pm EST which is 7pm PST when closed. I cant believe that it it 10pm the following day and we still do not have this issue figured out. It is unreasonable that the people who can actually fix our phones are unreachable except for them calling us. I repeated the same trouble shooting tips every single time on the phone even with the notes of my account and earlier calls.
