    The service and pricing are fine. The admin side of things is horrible. Wasted a bunch of time today because their emails dont have the correct specifics ever. After my initial 3 month promo, I switched to 1 yr for the best price ($15 month when prepaid). The emails I got don't make it clear that I have switched - it appears that I am still on 3 mos after just changing to 1yr (it only lists my current plan and doesn't say anything about the year). **** says that the email was just a confirmation of me having added a payment method and signing up for autopay. Very confusing. And then today I get an email encouraging me to get more savings by signing up for a year - despite the fact that I have already signed up for a year! This after they misinformed me initially, requiring multiple calls to straighten out THEIR mistakes. They used to be great, but now? FAIL!

    I bought a phone from mint mobile about a year and a half ago and I'm trying to get it repaired under warrenty and the **** number cannot be found by ******* All of the information that is associated with it has come up that the provider who sold me the phone sold me something other than a registered one. After calling mint mobile about their product, they do not have any reciept or information that provides the information to prove my warrenty.

    Went online to order a phone and a plan for a new (non transferred) line. Called on phone to customer service and asked if we had a chance to reserve or request a specific telephone number. Was told no. Ordered anyway. Waited over half the day for phone to arrive (signature required). Installed sim card and attempted to activate. Tried it both on the phone and later on Mint Mobile online, but the apps only allowed transferring an existing phone number over instead of opening a new number (contrary to what their instructional video suggested was possible). Tried their chat and got no response for quite a while. (Later when I tried to use chat again, it was just a bot that acted like it was following a press 1 for this, press 2 for that format, menu. Kept asking for a human but that wasn't recognized.) Called in for 35 minutes and in between a never unending "hold while I check that" routine, was told that the plan I selected was not compatible with getting a new phone number and only would allow for a transfer. The penalty was to pay twice as much for a 12 month plan. Said I wanted a refund for both the phone and the plan. Told I would get an email for return authorization. After an hour with no email, called back again and was told that the email could take 24 to 48 hours.Bottom line. It was bait and switch. Their customer service is horrendous whether online, via chat, or in person. Stay away. Their mascot may be cute but it is a fox and foxes are always on the prowl for prey.

    Hands down the worst mobile service Ive ever had in 25 years.I prepaid/ 3 months/ $45. Great, right? 1st week an ice storm hit- intermittent service/ZERO data. Phone calls/ basic texts only. NO maps/NO internet/ZERO. The storm passed/ Week2: same issues/ another eSIM/ way too much time spent with customer service. Week3/ ***************************** barely worked now. Week4 another series of calls to Mint. Finally an agent helped me go through all my settings/ my phone restarted and now I have ZERO service. SOS. Its now past 7pm which is past customer service hours. Next morning I use a friends phone to, once again, contact Mint. They escalated my case informing me that their upper tier management would call my friends phone within 24 hrs, but 36 hours later, still NOT A WORD! They promise to re-escalate my case. But, Ill have to wait another 24 hours. Seriously?Ive had zero cell service now for 2 days. Mint offers the most basic service the year 1999 could offer. I explain that I cannot wait yet another day for cell service and that I run my business from my phone. So, I ask them for the port pin to transfer my cell service and ask for a refund for the 2 months I wont be using. Nope! Sorry, youve gone past the 7 day trial. No refund. No tech support. No service.I switched over to ******* mobile and have had no problems since.Also, each call into tech support is routed to ***************, where you most likely wont understand what they are saying anyway, however, they will repeat themselves over and over: Im sorry youre having trouble. Mint Mobile is here to provide you with excellent service blah blah blah. Yes, youve told me that for 30 calls now and no one ever calls back from their upper tier customer support team.Mint is a big risk if your phone is your gateway to your income. I highly recommended that you do not use their service. IMPORTANT: be 100% sure you know your correct account# BEFORE you begin the port process or youre screwed!

    I guess Mint Mobile thinks they don't have to follow the rules. I decided to change services, because, rather than slowing my data when I reached the limit, they cut me off altogether. I also had problems with texts not wanting to deliver.When I changed carriers, they positively refused to release my number. Several requests were made by the new carrier, I reached out to them two or three times, and still they refused, though they made it look good by giving me the account number & transfer PIN.A week later (today), I tried one last time to contact them and they informed me that my number wasn't correct, though it logged me into their app. Apparently, they stold my number & gave it to someone else.Caveat Emptor!!

    I would never recommend Mint Mobile. Family of four on mint and we all had issues. Coverage is not great, calls are dropped and there are many times we just cant make or receive calls. Recently wanted to switch carriers for better coverage. we had one phone we had purchased through mint mobile and paid for in full. It was an excruciating experience to get Mint Mobile to unlock the carrier sim. A total nightmare. It took days, hours on the phone. They claimed they could not find my order number and therefore could not unlock the phone. I had all the proof on my end, receipt of payment, but no order number that mint said they emailed to me for the phone. After days of phone calls and talking to many mint customer services reps and supervisors and explaining over and over that the phone is paid for in full and that I have proof of purchase, finally my order number magically appeared on their end and they were able to unlock my sim. What a waste of everyones time. It was so stressful. Horrid customer service. Would not recommend to anyone, especially do not buy a device through ******************!!!

    Scammers. For the ***** 3 month i paid my money the 15MB data was enough to watxh videos and to work. Since the promotion started all of the sudden (mind me i was sick in my bed for that week and didnt work or used my phone watched tv that is connected to my *** wifi ) all of the sudden i get a twxt message that used 100% of my data within 7 days since new month started . I paid $20 for 3 MB that was enough with me working !!!! For over a week. Then i paid for 1 MB data since i got in car accident and wasnt intending to use my phone . Without using a phine it went away within a week as well. They cheat on data and falsify reports so they can steal money from you

    Hours spent on the phone with condescending service reps that need to explain and get me to agree as to why I am it getting what I paid for. I ordered a phone with 6 months prepaid and 6 month free, when I activate the phone ( terrible process) it says I have a trial and wants me to pay again. Phone agent says it is my fault because I activated incorrectly and that I only have the 6 months prepaid. Agreed with me on my order but stated it was ordered incorrectly. I tell them I did it over the phone and the mint mobile rep stated that was the current promotion. We argue for about 10 minutes when I ask what do you want to do about activating the phone? Another 40 minutes of silliness and while the phone works the app does not. Train wreck service and a train wreck process. I loathe this companyloathe
