2 stars+1 because the service does work when it works.Customer support is pretty bad. It seems like the service representatives want to twist reality to match their scripts. They don't ever believe anything I say. Most recently, I bought a phone from Best Buy - completely unlocked - and my SIM card wouldn't work in it. I called customer service and was told that this was because my phone was carrier locked to Best Buy itself. It took me three phone calls - the last one I had to do from the Best Buy store itself - before I could convince them that the problem wasn't with my phone. They 'refreshed their network settings' and my phone started working.Also, the only option for getting any support is by phone. I'm not sure how "if your phone doesn't work, call us" is supposed to be effective. That nonsense aside, this also causes a problem of disabled access for anyone with Autism or any type of phone anxiety. The FoxBot chat is just a glorified search bar and there doesn't appear to be any way of getting an actual person on it.Mint Mobile

1 starI was sold a carrier locked phone from Mint Mobile on March 28th, 2024. It is now May 16th, 2024. After weekly attempts of customer service calls and no help in any way possible to unlock and use this phone, they have discontinued trying to help me and I will not take my phone back via policy. I have talked to multiple people the last months with no solution. This is theft at it's finest.Mint Mobile

1 star******************Well, I'm very disappointed with this business. I had been satisfied with this company prior to this year. I wanted to change my plan to mint 55+. I always have prepaid for the year. I was sent a new sim card and tried to activate it on my phone, i was having difficulty so I called the number and i was told i couldnt keep my same phone number. I told them i wasn't going to keep this service and went to a different service so I could keep my number. I want my $203.10 refunded to me immediately. I wouldn't be having this issue if you would have left me have my phone number. What kind of business are you running? If this is how you do business, i won't be coming back as a customer for sure. However, on the 9th day, I suddenly had no service and could not receive calls or text.My son needed an emergency dentist visit and I had to use ******** messenger to call a family member with a different carrier to call the dentist for me.Mint Mobile

1 starThe service and rates are great. But last Tuesday, I called Mint Mobile because my plan and my wife's were not connected, and they were supposed to be. They fixed that and gave me a $30 refund since we are on a family plan. That $30 somehow kicked out my service agreement, and I have now been without service for six days. I can't call, receive calls, or get or receive texts unless I'm on WiFi. I have called and chatted at least eight times; each time, I'm told it's been escalated or expedited, and that it will be resolved within 2-4 hours. It never is. I've been told I will get a call to resolve this. I never do. I finally managed to get a supervisor today. Told the story AGAIN, and still nothing. All they need to do is connect a plan to my account. I've already pre-paid. I have all my receipts, which they see. It's unacceptable to have this poor of communication, especially as it's affecting my job. Reference number is L2-259578.Mint Mobile

1 starThey got me in on the family plan both phone lines at $135 per qtr. As long as I paid in advance. Well I was on auto renewal and when my first automatic payment came the charge was ******. I didn't notice the overcharge for 5 days on my credit card. When I called to inquire about my bill I was told there is no such plan as I was initially told. So I asked for a refund so I could change to another carrier and then was told 5 days in on the qtrly plan was too late to get a refund "but on the bright side I had service for the next 3 months" only approximately $80 more than what I was told. So my advice is don't listen to the fancy promises on the ads or when inquiring to sign up. They have NO ETHICS!!Mint Mobile

1 starOmg I never seen so many bad reviews in my life, I also came here to express my bad experiences with mint mobile, I also posted a review today on the App Store giving one star hopefully it doesnt get deleted. To start off the owner is crooked, ************************* made us believe he is trying to help any sales person say the same thing. The first time I had mint mobile it was one year ago and I paid for 3 months to just end up using 2 weeks because they couldnt recover my account, the chat was useless at that point no way you can really talk to a human. I again gave them a second chance and got the UNLIMITED DATA but its all FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. I drive with the gps because I live in ***********, and I expected high speed service since Im not in the middle of nowhere. Well every time I drive with the gps I loose signal or it goes off and I end up getting late to my destination or getting lost. The unlimited data is a false advertisement and I was better off with cricket with almost the same price but the data was much faster and never slowed on me.Mint Mobile

1 starDoor knockers came to my door after 8pm, and pounded on the door multiple times to the point my dogs are going crazy, woke up my child that I just put to sleep. I open the door and they just start laughing at me. So unprofessional and not a good representation of the company. 1 starI ordered the Mint mobile and paid for a year to get it for 15 dollars a month. Once I got the phone I was never able to activate it. After the sale, I could never get anyone to help me. At least 10 times they transferred me to an automated circle. They lied about helping you to get your phone activated. I can't even get anybody to help me with the return process. They won't even talk about it. I would strongly not recommend Mint for anyone. They take your money, then refuse to do anything. This may be a class action law suit we are talking about. If I don't get my refund, I will get an attorney and *** for what they have put me through for several days. They are transfer experts.Mint Mobile
