1 starDay 11, still waiting on my number to get ported over. Nightmare, no one is in charge, no one to follow through on escalation, on hold now to talk to the Manager of Supervisor, very disappointing . Not having the old number is affecting work and personal life. Missed important calls. Crazy.Mint Mobile

1 starBought mint mobile sim card and was working for 4 months but then they made some upgrades to their system and discontinued providing service saying my phone model is not compatible as per their system upgrade. My phone is 4G LTE network compatible bought in Nov 2022 and was working absolutely fine with mint mobile sim but recently due to the recent upgrades with mint mobile they are not supporting this model. Also I was not notified by mint mobile on this discontinuation although they have accepted the payment earlier and providing unfulfilled service. I spoke to 4 customer service representatives if they could fix the network issue or process a refund since they discontinued the service despite me paying for the service earlier but I was discouraged and told to buy a new phone instead. No help is receiving network coverage despite paying for it and not being informed on the discontinuation. I feel frustrated due to lack of moral ethics and shady business practices that only wants money without providing service or informing customer about the discontinuation. Sorry to write this but I am left without a coverage despite paying for it and not receiving refund for discontinuation.Mint Mobile

1 starI had a Mint Mobile phone service promotion account for 6 months for two lines. When I renewed the cs person informed me they were separate accounts and I had to pay double to renew and that the family plan (which is what I apparently needed) was not available on the promotion. Three days and about 15 transfers later I have a fully paid phone locked by Mint and cant port a number weve had for years because they absolutely need the order number. All foreign customer service agents. Every little thing is a different department. The Mint mobile phone organization is ran very inefficiently and hindered by corporate protocols that no one is responsible for. The only department they dont have is a complaint department. The last advise I was given was to call apple care and given a phone number, which turned out to be an add agency. Their well get in touch with you or back to you, is a response sham. No one is held liable at Mint Mobile. Oh, they stated they would refund my money the first day I called. The second day I called, the cs agent said it was not requested.Mint Mobile

1 starTHIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AND FINED FOR ILLEGAL PRACTICES. I was a former TMobile customer for several years and researched ****************** for a few days before signing up for the three month introductory trial period.I paid for the three months and was shopped my Sim card ( arrived on May 24th.I followed the detailed instructions and inserted the sim card in my android device that evening.I made my first **** 2 hours later and the reception was horrible. My calls kept dropping and the connection was horrible.Note: I was told multiple times before I signed up that my reception should be great because they use the same cell phone towers that T Mobile uses.I called Mint Mobike customer service the next morning. My calls were not connecting and kept dropping when trying to reach anyone. It took me multiple calls to finally speak to a supervisor named ************ warned her that our call would drop and gave her my number.I told her the service horrible and I wanted my miney back. She was fine with my request but my call dropped before we could finish our conversation.I tried to call back and couldn't get a call to connect.I kept trying all afternoon ( at least 20 attempted calls) and discovered that **** had decided to terminate my account WITHOUT MY ******************************** and **** left me without any service.What cell phone customer turns off service BEFORE GETTING NEW SERVICE?!This company is the worst company I have ever seen. I connected with a manager on May 25th who could clearly see all of my attempted calls and what had occurred.She apologized and told me a manager from the operations on line team would call me to discuss on May 26th.I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK.THIS COMPANY GETS A BIG FAT FFFFFF+ for customer service and I will be sharing my horrific experience with my *******************Mint Mobile

1 starHorrible 24 hour experience. They stated my IME # was compatible. It was not. After purchasing unlocked phone and activation, received text within the first hour stating that 80% of 5GB was used. ****** Maps would not connect. Within another five or so hours I received a text stating that 100% was used and that I would have slower service. I had no service at all for ****** Maps and about ten hours of data. When I called to complain and request refund, the representative was inquiring if I had turned off the background applications as if that could possibly be what the issue was in ten hours. I canceled the service and returned to the policy I've had for five years. STAY AWAY!Mint Mobile

1 starI just typed a review for Mint Mobile, but when I red BBB t&c it got erased. So here goes again.1) they do not keep their customers hooked up to their cell towers. I've never heard of such a thing, but my mom has to call them every week or two to get reconnected. 2) when my mom calls me, her voice is either far away or slightly broken up. 3) it will send my call directly to my mom's voicemail even when she's*waiting* for me to call. 4) this week has been especially bad, with me having to call my sister to ask her to ask mom to call me. When my mom did, her voice was so garbled and broken up, I could hear one word of ten. Likewise with mine apparently. I have never had so much trouble talking to someone on a cell phone, and because cells have been around so long, there's no reason for it to be this bad. 5) before this week, I would have given them a two star rating. 1 starI called for help about a promotion that I was supposed to get with my new account. I got a lot of double talk and excuses. I got fed up with the call and told the gentleman that my prior call with a rep had been much more friendly and helpful. I not curse not insult the gentleman. I said have a nice day and hung up. He proceed to suspend my account. After an hour with a rep my service was restored. I spoke with a supervisor about the incident and he claimed they would investigate. This person suspended an account paid in advance and in full with no right nor reason. I am a brand new customer and this is how they treat you. Should have known they were c*** since T-Mobile bought them.Oh and I never got the Paramount promotion I was supposed to get either. They never sent a code. Now I have to find a new carrier. I just left T-Mobile after 19 year of being a faithful customer because of poor customer service and over charging. Now I am back where I started.Mint Mobile

1 starI have had Mint mobile for a couple of years now and for the second time they have illegally taken money out of my bank account..I paid $201.82 total in Feb 2024 for a 2 phone service plan for a year (my Mint account shows this) and then in early May of 2024 I noticed a $201.74 charge pending on my bank account from them stating ( Recurring debit purchase)..I called Mint and was told that payment wont go any further than pending,cant remember all the ******** he stated about why..Of course it did go through and I was charged that amount,called again and told the *** about the issue and she said she would talk to corporate and get back to me and of course tjhat didnt happen...I called my bank and they are helping me out but since this is the second time this has happened I now realize that they just hope you dont notice it in your bank account and the kicker is it doesnt show up on my Mint account transactions..I was not on auto renew and have since removed my card from their criminal hands hopefully...And the most important thing to remember is that legally nobody,and I mean nobody cares about what they are doing...Its just very sadMint Mobile

1 starWell, another ********** horror story. On April 4, I ordered and paid for a 1 year service. I then waited for my new sim card. Once that was received, I encountered issues with my existing phone and needed to replace it. On April 25 I ordered a new phone from Mint and received it on the 29th. ***************** the last I would receive. For the next three consecutive days we attempted to activate it with no success. On the third day, Mint tech transferred me to ******* tech (the manufacturer) who also tried. He recommended having it checked at an authorized ******* repair center, which I did on May 3. ******* repair declared the phone defective and said I needed to return it to Mint which I did on May 6. They received it on May 13. I called on that day to check the disposition and was told that I wouldn't receive a replacement (even though their phone return policy SAYS that they replace new defective phones) but would issue a refund in 5 to 7 days. As of today (May 20), they claim to have JUST authorized the refund, and to expect a 7 to 10 day delay before I receive it. IF I order another new phone from them, that puts it into June before I could receive it, or TWO MONTHS since I started this. This shouldn't be acceptable. Their 'tech' help works off scripts, and anything that doesn't fit (like defective phones) completely flummoxes them. Anything out of the ordinary has to be cleared by their 'back room' and it's impossible to talk to anyone who can make a decision. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I wanted to switch because I use my cel phone very minimally, usually under 2 minutes per MONTH (no service at my home, rural area). Paying $60 per month for that seemed foolish. I don't text, have voicemail, use social networks or apps, play games or stream anything. Maybe a 'net search for an address or phone number once in a while, that's it. I'm giving serious thought to moving to US ******** Mint has been a nightmare.Mint Mobile

1 starI signed on for 3 months with 2 lines using the buy one get one free and I called about getting that promotion again cause my sister loss service and they told me that promotion was never a thing and I got ******* from worker and hung up on and just rude remarks the supervisor *************************** just keep repeating the same thing and kept telling me she had no boss and telling I wasn't understanding her even when I asked questions she just kept repeating the same thing. I just wanted a refund so I can figure out what the best plan was for the both of us. They are just rude and unhelpful and when I asked to file a complaint *************************** told me she doesn't know how. Why is mint mobile hiring people and not training them on how to do their job. I'm not happy with the 360 I spent and the service I received from them. I got denied a refund for no reason. I just wanted to money back that I spent on 5/16/14 and it is 5/19/24 so I can get a better plan. If the promo expires fine but they never once said that to me they just told me I need to pay for two lines and the promo doesn't exist.Mint Mobile
