2 stars**************** is so horrible and SO scripted. I had to go through 4 agents to have the last finally tell me I had to pay for a sim replacement since I got another phone that wouldn't accept an e-sim. It has been the worst experience. I dropped my phone, the screen went black so I bought a new phone and wasn't thinking about the e-sim. The first agent named ****** (probably not a real name) told me it would be overnighted since I went and bought a sim card not realizing the company has to send you one, which is outrageous and the only carrier that does that. His words were "I spoke with my supervisor and we are sending it now!". Its 2024 and no kind of technology to override a sim card I guess. Anyway, then the next person told me it was on the way being delivered and got the okay to expect it on Monday. They lied to me because the FOURTH agent told me, after calling on Thursday, that they never sent it because my card on file wasn't active. I was never asked, never told I had to pay for it. NO ONE knew this?!?! AND lied. It should finally be here on Monday, I really hope. Its been a whole week when all of this could have been avoided due to Mint Mobile's lack of communication. I also had already purchased a year service with them. At that point Mint should have just sent me the sim I shouldn't have had to pay. I even mentioned this and all the agent could say was "We're sorry we don't want you to have this experience yada yada B.S. If you need help you have to actual call and pray to God they will. There's only a bot chat box that is pathetic. After January I am willing to pay for a contract plan because this is crazy. No where else would this happen.Mint Mobile

3 starsMint Mobile usually works very well for me in the U.S. but has repeatedly failed to work internationally in multiple countries that are listed on their website as having coverage. Texting has been hit or miss, and I have never had use of data, even after following the troubleshooting guidance. They also will not partially refund "Minternational" fees for partial service, so when I travel, I know I will pay full price for something that might work some of the time. When I called after my last trip to provide feedback, they told me to call them while it was happening abroad -- something I can't do when my phone *isn't working*. The agent said he understood the irony, but no refunds.Mint Mobile

1 starI am not very happy with my current provider, so I went shopping. Decided to check out mint mobile. OMG. 1) the advertised price of $15/month is not true, it is impossible to find the full cost of monthly service online; so I tried chatting with the robot, also very bad, the robot has very limited comprehension. There is no human to address your concern. 2) the mint mobile website has a snapshot of 4.8 ratings in ****** reviews; i checked and there's no way to leave your review of mint on ****** or on yelp; these companies are in cahoots to suppress customer feedback. Conclusions: fake reviews, fake prices, non-existent customer service. *****************************.Mint Mobile

1 starBuyer BEWARE!! Mint Mobile used my debit card to pull ****** out of my checking account to pay for another account I don't own. Then when I spent over 3 hours asking them where my money went and asked them to refund the money or apply it to the correct account, they said I had to dispute it with my bank and couldn't issue a refund.I disputed it with the bank and after 30 days the bank said it was not approved since Mint Mobile sent them the account records as valid!When I once again started the dispute with the chat (which is the only way they will talk to you) They verified that this payment had gone to someone's phone number ending in 4400 and that the funds were used and could not be refunded! Then when I escalated the event, the supervisor told me that it was too late to file for a refund as it had been over 30 days and that I needed to go back to the bank and settle it with them! They would not refund, they would not apply the credit to the correct account and they would NOT help me at all. Mint Mobile committed theft on my debit card and would not accept responsibility at all for any of their actions!!!Mint Mobile

2 starsThe actual is good for the price so long as you dont leave the country. I paid for the mint international plan and could only make or receive calls. I did not have ANY data available to use maps or internet. I spent my entire 2 week honeymoon in ***** lost or searching for cafes to use WIFI. I spoke to customer service three different times and said they put in a service order but I never heard back and the issue was never resolved. The app never worked for me so Ive downloaded it and deleted is 3 times over the last two years out of frustration.Im looking to change plans asap.Mint Mobile

1 starThe service is terrible. I can't count how many times I've needed to make a phone call (some for absolute emergencies) and have been met with a "service not available" message. Text messages? I have to reboot my phone constantly to even send or receive a text. Sending pictures? Doesn't work. It switches back and forth between telling you it's "waiting for a connection" and asking if you want to try again. Just to repeat the cycle over and over again. Good luck leaving a negative review on the app store. It's filled with fake/paid positive reviews that don't even match what the app is for. They shadow ban you for leaving real negative reviews. Degenerate company. You don't taste like mint to me. You taste more like brown pants.Mint Mobile

1 starCompany offered buy 6 get 6 months free with purchase of new phone. Purchased phone, picked the plan and paid full amount up front for it. Tried to activate getting a new number as I did not have a number to transfer. I was not advised that it was for a transferred number only until I started the activation process. Checked online and nowhere could I find that it states must be transferred and not a new number. Call in to activate, the system hung up on me 9 times before finally getting in contact with a human and even she argued about the buy 6 get 6 offer.Mint Mobile

5 starsI switched my service to Mint Mobile based upon their 3-Month promotional plan. There was a hiccup with the conversion from a physical SIM card to an E-Sim with my number transferring over. I was chatting with costumer support for about 20 minutes both times through the Smartphone App, and they walked me through everything. I made test calls while they waited diligently for me to give the all clear on my end. Since that moment, my calls are coming through ******* clear at my residence which was once a black hole needing Wi-Fi calling for me to communicate with the outside world. 5-Star support and it shocked me to see all the reviews here with a 1.14 Star rating! Definitely give them serious consideration when switching over to a lower-cost phone provider!Mint Mobile

1 starBought Mint mobile because of their $45 for 3 months with unlimited data, went to set up and unbeknownst to me, I accidentally pushed 5 gb data plan. It wasnt until later in the month when my data ran out that I called and was told there was nothing mint could do to help. Now Im stuck with this plan or I have to pay more money. I spoke to a supervisor and was told that I should have called sooner (when I didnt realize there was a problem until later).Mint Mobile

1 starI don't have an account with ****************** and never opened one since my business line is a pre-paid acct with ***** My credit card was charged ***** on 5/15/2024. I called Mint Mobile to talk to a customer service rep, however, there is no option in their menu available to talk to anyone. I had to get creative and called them back and chose the option to setup a new account which then gave me the option to talk to a human. I then explained to the rep my situation. After about 5 minutes the rep told me there was a problem with their system and they couldn't find my information in the system. I explained to them that I was shocked they didn't have the information about my account, but they were charging my account.They actually said this happens quite often. They asked me to talk to my bank and open a claim for a fraudulent charge to my account. I provided them feedback about the issue with no option to talk to a human on the phone. I couldn't get mad with the rep since he was trying to be helpful, either that or they are well trained well not to be rude. This experience showed me that something is not quite right with Mint Mobile and the way they conduct business. I never opened an account with them and never will do business with them, not now, not ever. I called my bank and opened a fraudulent claim which can take up to 90 days to resolve and I'm getting a new credit card.Mint Mobile
