I have a security alert on my credit report that needed to be removed. I called the bureau and could not get a person on the line to assist. The automated system said this could be done via online and uploan the reqiested docs. I did everything and it could not be done online and now I have to physically mail the form and the docs to ***** ***** and now it will cost me my application in process for a loan and I will have to start that process all over again and have have my credit pulled. The other two bureaus were not as hard to deal with and removed the alert via and online and got it done quckly. In my opinion Experian need to go away and not be a part of the credit system at all, it is not in line with the other bureaus and is is extremely hard to get a hold of if something need to be done quickly. Why are they hiding from their members and providing subpar customer service. Because of this I will have to ***************** mail to protect me and make sure they get it and their process is really what might compromise my identity by having to send docs by mail.

I opened a free acct with them to check my credit each year. They sell your phone number and address to every predator out there. I ve been receiving a call per hr since opening the acct. I had to get ****** phone app to screen calls. The callers are scammy. What kills me is that experian is fighting scam and fraud, yet they sell your info to every telemarketing fraudulent scum out there. Plus you cant get the acct closed. I will contact attorney general.

Due to the flexibility in regards to the daily balance on credit. If the credit had zero negatives on paymentwhy is the score lower if there was a zero negative remarks in payment? My bills are Paid on time and I shouldnt have to have a negative impact on my credit if there has not been a loss. This is not fair credit reporting! The country is trillions in debt. You have zero right to judge my on time payments!

Experian Digital checking is an awful service. First, since it's not a real bank, a lot of payment processers don't recognize it and will not take payment from the account. This has caused a need for me to transfer money to am external bank account. They just banned the option to transfer money to an external savings account and limited the amount of money that you can transfer. For only God knows why a bank account would BAN YOU FROM TRASNFERRING MONEY TO A SAVINGS ACCOUNT. The only benefit is that you get your paycheck two days earlier, which doesn't matter if it takes day for an external transfer to process. I hate this account and will never use it again

I have recently been looking for apartments in my area and have been declined multiple times. One of the properties mentioned pulling my credit report. I was in shock and realized that I have been a victim of identity theft. Since this has been brought to my attention, I have I've been horribly impacted with even job searches as they pull background and credit checks. There are accounts, late charges and fees that were never verified by me, permitted by me nor a signature to be placed on there platform. First, according to the F.C.R.A Section 604(A)(3) 15 U.S Code 1681(b) Permissible purpose states that I have the right to privacy and that my information can not be shared without my written consent! Second, Section 607(A) 15 U.S Code 1681(e) Compliance and Procedures states my report must be 100% accurate at all times and these late payments are not accurate! Nor did I authorize these late payments to show on my report. Third, according to the Truth and Lending Act Section 15 U.S Code 1666(b) corrections of billing errors the must correct any billing errors made on the consumer's credit report with a written statement of what accounts need to be updated and corrected. I have already sent a letter 30 DAYS AGO AND YOU ARE NOW IN VIOLATION OF MY CONSUMER RIGHTS! I am also placing a FTC reference number- ***************************** Account Number - DISCOVER BANK - Account Number - LENDING POINT LLC - ***** FARGO CARD SERVICE - Account Number - ****************** SERVI - **************** so that you can verify the inaccuracy of fraud that is placed on my credit report. These accounts must be updated AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to avoid any VIOLATIONS FEES.

Almost impossible to work with. I simply wanted to lift the freeze on my credit report so that I could apply for a new credit card. By law, I should be able to do this for free. I've had the freeze for years, during which time my phone numbers and email addresses have changed, meaning that I couldn't log in online. There website kept directing me to call one particular toll free number. The agent, **************, said that I had 2 choices. I could do this by mail, which would take several weeks, or I could pay $360 and he could do it immediately. Throughout the rest of the conversation he kept stressing the additional benefits that I would receive for my $360, even after I told him that I would do this by mail. He did give me a vague idea of what I was supposed to mail. When I asked him for the mailing address he didn't give it to me. He told me to find it on their website. I told him that I was signed onto the website and I didn't see the mailing address. I asked him to help me navigate to the address and he promptly hung up.Eventually, I found a 10 digit PIN that I used when I first instituted the freeze. I also found a different toll free number from the same time. Using these I lifted the freeze in less than 5 minutes without ever talking to a human and without anybody trying to sell me a $360 "service".In summary, Experian doesn't want you to be able to manage your own credit freeze. They want to sell you a service. Fortunately, my need to unfreeze wasn't urgent. However if I had been applying for an auto loan or a mortgage I might have had to pay the ******* the $360 he wanted.

a few months ago, I put a hold on my experian account. I tried to sign in and unfreeze the account. my ID or Password did not work. I clicked on forgot my password. But, that didn't work either. I've call at least 3 numbers, all seem to go to the same automated phone assistance (not a person). That didn't work either (no less than 12 calls). How do I reach someone at Experian to unfreeze my credit. I couldn't even find an address to send a letter. - Help!

Their access to a representative is non-existent. I need to talk to a person to resolve an issue and there is no way to contact anyone. Their phone options and website do not address my problem! And yet i am forced to deal with them. I give them one star because i cant give them zero.

They manipulate your credit profile on their system, showing you drops for this or that. Even if paid off. Then, they solicit you for loans to pay off stuff that is already paid. They do not adhere to the **** and allow unverified collections from never heard of Drs to go onto my report, refused to provide verification. I have little to no Bala ces on any CCs and am about 15K ahead on my car loan. Experian fabricates "crisis" to sell you stuff. They're unethical and a scam. My bills are current and nothing is late. My score goes down when I have perfect payment history. It's a scam to sell you things when you're emotional.

I am calling my congressmans office and I am asking them to cancel you, horrible is not remotely close to the ineptness that you hurt people lives with your mistakes and lack of transparency for the individual. You are not welcome to my social security number either, and I am taking that up with them as well. I have no choice but to have you in my life? Why? No thank you, remove all of my information and any history incorrectly so on your junk website. I would give zero stars, or negative 1000 if I could.
