They deleted my website files from hosting and when I called in with their internal server error 500 they couldn't even understand my question. The lady sounded drunk and at home. Then I asked for a supervisor and she hesitated, said none was available, took 15 minutes to write the notes of our conversation ( with me on the phone and not on hold ) and finally, instead of transferring me to a supervisor, she hung up on me. My company has been down for days. The reps ********* don't you have a backup? Maybe I do, but since this website has been up for years lord knows what old computer will have the files on it. Apparently there is no way to restore this either. Could you imagine if this happened to you and your website for your company was down weeks?GoDaddy.com LLC

By far the worst. Constant technical issues that IT cannot resolve and they are smart ***** about it. No real customer service at all. It is literally criminal that BBB gives them an A+ rating when their actual customers give them 1 star out of 5 because 1 star is the minimum requirement. This discredits BBB entirely. BBB is a scam by giving subpar businesses an A+ rating, a rating which does not reflect facts or customer satisfaction. I would like to give BBB a -1 star and an F- rating for even pretending to be a valuable and credible organization. Stay away from Go Daddy.GoDaddy.com LLC

That is pointless. In the years I've foolishly been a customer, every IT person has said "nothing is wrong, everything is working fine, are we done here?" they refuse to even admit that there is an issue in the first place. They always and only use the excuse of "user error", everything is somehow my fault and there has never been a real issue that THEY need to fix, so they don't even want to help.Lisa S.

I used to use your booking calendar feature for the majority of my orders, over the last 12 months I rarely ever use it. 90% of my business I removed from your booking calendar feature so you are not getting a cut of any of that money. All my clients use direct links to other merchants and that is a huge cut of my profits that you do not gain from because you guys REFUSE to fix your booking calendar glitches or even acknowledge that there are glitches. I sleep well at night knowing you are losing so much money due to the incompetence of the IT and the features you offer.Review fromCarla E.

As a novice to building an ecommerce business I purchased subscriptions from Godaddy, Shopify, and Wix. While learning and navigating these systems, I found Wix to be the less complex for me as I learn and build my business. Once I notified Godaddy that I was transferring my domain and email to Wix, I began to have access problems. For example, I woke up one morning and was not able to access my accounts, I called in to get assistance. And I had to go through "incogneto" with the Godaddy representative to access my email accounts. Past experience did not require me to call the 24/7 help to access my emails. When I notified Nate @ Godaddy, I was switching to Wix he was very angry and frustrated with me. I explained to Nate that I found someone to sit down with me to teach and walk me through Wix and since I had the type of support I needed to be successful, i was going to use Wix. Nate's tone changed, he began speaking negatively about Wix. In addition, he reminded me of the amount of time he spent talking on the phone educating me about web design, internet, and ecommerce business. He accomplished the goal of making me feel like c*** but as I stated, I need to us what will help make my business successul. Blocking and changing my settings in Godaddy to prevent me from accessing my accounts is evil and corrupt. I will not recommend Godaddy to anyone just for the undermining and control they have to my products and not allowing me to access my emails. All of a sudden my passwords do not work.GoDaddy.com LLC

We have been trying to access our accounts with you representatives for the past week since 06/15/2022 with no cooperation. The phone that had the app was upgraded and the app did not transfer to the new phone. We have explained at each call we no longer wish to maintain the following accounts and wish to cancel the subscriptions. We did not authorize the autorenewal and you charged our not for profit anyway. We have never gotten a response from your organization to assist us with the account or discuss not offer to pass us to a life person that can assist us with this only stating that no one in your organization can access the account. We responded by Phone, email, and your online chat services as of this date no response from your company. I feel this is being done intentionally and I and our club will never recommend your site to anyone.********************* Treasurer Red Knights ** Chapter 42GoDaddy.com LLC

GoDaddy.com is fraudulent because they use the name Qlink instead of their owner name. They contract with ***************** government for cellular phones while also in business of Advertising while harvesting personal information to be sold to ANY bidder. In the last year Qlink FORCED me to purchase a new phone that "required" sim card.I told them that I would ONLY use it IF it did NOT require ******* The operator assured me that the new phone WOULD NOT require *******After receiving the phone they did not hesitate to disconnect service to my old phone. Not to my surprise I quickly found that QLink phones REQUIRE a ****** keyboard in order to send text messages. In order to use ****** keyboard, ****** play Must be Enabled, and with ****** play enabled ****** is able to know everything I do with that phone from phone calls to sitting down.GoDaddy using alias Qlink defrauded me by "Lying" to me on phone. and is not professional or legal to participate in working with our government while "hidden - Harvesting" Advertising.I think there is a GIANT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BUGGING A PHONE and FLAT OUT STALKINGGoDaddy.com LLC

GoDaddy is one of the worst vendors I have ever dealt with. I have been managing domains within my technical field for almost 30 years, and I have never dealt with anyone this terrible. I'm sure it is easy enough to register with them, but if you have a problem or want to leave the nightmares begin. GoDaddy regularly makes promises that are unfounded to make you go away. They lie about clear technical issues and blame the user. They create nonstandard obligations for transfers and then blame other registrars and act like they're helpless to fix it. The methods of getting support are unreliable and unnecessarily difficult. On this last case they refused to even give me a case number for later follow-up. I have been dealing with this across multiple domains, and companies for nearly a decade. This isn't a one-off. What you see in the comments here is a pattern. It speaks to the clear deficiences in the BBB's methodology that they still have an A+ rating. If you are considering this business for anything, anything at all - please reconsider for your own sake.GoDaddy.com LLC

Indeed, I did eventually get through this process. After spending half a day with at least one other agent, I finally got connected with an agent that figured out was happening -- though the answer didn't make a lot of sense. Even so - it should not have taken nearly an entire day of my time to resolve. Especially since most of it was rehashing the same information over and over again.Mark B.

To be clear, my *issue* is resolved. My complaint about GoDaddy, its quality of service, and how it supports it remains. This has persisted across multiple issues for years.Mark B.

Spoke too soon - only one part of my issue is resolved, I'm still locked out from actually migrating the domain.Review fromStephanie C

Worse service, it took us several months to build a website after spending hours on the phone with web design. WooCommerce and ********** are a third party, so it is not easy to use, and when attempting to resolve the issue, the employees said it was out of their realm to fix the problem by linking WooCommerce to ******** to run ads. We have not been able to utilize our domain due to being unable to use the software ********** and WooCommerce. I have spent hours on the phone with web design attempting to correct issues. We requested our money-back less than a month into building our domain because the employee did not do her job. GoDaddy is a waste of time. However, I did have Web designers who sat with me trying to correct the domain, but I would strongly recommend not using them to develop your domain. When an agent at GoDaddy advised us that we would have a team to build our domain, it did not happen, and after hours of calls and missing all the holidays, it is not worth the money you paid. I have attempted to contact supervisors, but you can not. Our last web designer is trying to send an email to GoDaddy Supervision through a web design department, documenting our request for money back and explaining all of the problems since the process began in October 2021. I am contacting our credit card company to file a complaint concerning the false advertisement and make them aware of the situation. If GoDaddy does not refund my money, the next step is to contact the Better Business Bureau to review my case.GoDaddy.com LLC
