Starting 10/31/22 I have requested my account on namecheap to be cancelled because I didnt want the service, need the service and had no plans of using the service. they continue to charge me even though I have asked several times with replies and proof to show it. as of january 28th they are charging me again. their are over $300 in charges that I have asked to stop. My website domain was down for a week. I setup my domain with Namecheap in November, I hadn't even logged in since then. I contacted support about this, this fixed the issue, but they refused to apologize or explain what happened (in English). They refused to credit me back missing days of service or accept ANY kind of responsibility.I also wanted a sorry and a week credited back. I purchased email services back in October, I wasn't able to get it up and running, I contacted their support chat several times, I've gone through their instructions multiple times and it still wasn't working, today I dug my heals in to finally get it working, 3 MONTHS later. It's working now, I want an extension of 3 months of the services I was supposed to have! I have attempted to get in touch with a supervisor or a manager from namecheap's domain department regarding few issues with my ******. But I believe an operator named '***************************************' has red flagged my entire account that restricts me from getting in touch with a supervisor or a manager. I was repeatedly harassed and bullied by your operators for over three hours to an extent where I believe these operators together with the support from namecheap's executive office will put all my domains in jeopardy. I couldn't get my issues solved because of the continuous nature of bullying and harassment by the chat operators, for over three hours. This is totally shocking and unacceptable.Few weeks ago a supervisor came on the chat and told me that the operators should transfer the chat to a supervisor when asked by customer without asking for detailed explanation. I spoke with a supervisor earlier today on chat, but when there were more issues operators kept telling me supervisors don't respond in chats, for over three hours. ********* and bullying a customer repeatedly for three hours, just shows the cheap mentality of the *** of this company. This company is sick. I have been able to save some of those operator's names: ************************************* ************************** **************** ****************, *****************************, and few others It is impossible for a human being to take on so much of harassment and bullying from operators for hours and hours. I am posting here because of the lack of support from Namecheap.com to stop illegal phishing and spamming by their customers to my mom who is 70+. At this time I have submitted 181 abuse reports to Namecheap.com and forwarded them copies of the emails to their legal and abuse department at ******************************* ***************************************** *************************************** AS of this report the domains are active and I am still not hearing back from Namecheap about the illegal activity by their customers. I am receiving over 20 phishing emails a day. Below are the top active domains as of the moment.I have contacted support daily. They keep telling me someone will get back to me and no one does. I have asked to escalate the problem daily and they ignore that request. 12/20/22 I purchased domain name UniqueLAffilate.com from NameCheap.com, using my debit card 12/30/22 As registered agent of the **** I purchased domain name BaruchCreations.com, using the same debit card, order ID *********, for two years. Five minutes later, I was emailed that BaruchCreations.com "require verification within 01/14/2023" and that it would be "suspended" if "no action is taken" in "the time bracket".1/9/23 NameCheap emailed me that BaruchCreations.com domain registration was cancelled and refunded back to my card, Ticket ID ************* ("status: awaiting client response") at 6:29pm - after business hours which are currently EST. No reason was given.1/10/23 GoDaddy registered my BaruchCreations.com domain name, by private registration and only for one year - like it was done by a domain investor/domainer/domain name speculator. It's incredibly coincidental that the domain was cancelled for no reason by NameCheap on day and purchased by/through GoDaddy the very next day. In Nov I purchased a domain through the website. Unbeknownst to me the site set my credit card up on auto renew for services. I do not want the domain and do not want to renew any services with namecheap.I want a full refund for $41.88 that was changed to my credit card. I attempted to ask for a refund from your customer service team but they replied with a whole bunch of information I already knew and did not return my money.I am making this complaint and I will be spending some time making bad reviews about my interaction with you over $41.88 that I asked to have refunded. The resolution I seek is for NameCheap to close my account. I opened an account with NameCheap on Sept 20 2022 for the purpose of registering a domain name. I paid $4.16 for this service. Unbeknownst to me, NameCheap released the domain, refunded my payment and locked my account the following day. I discovered this only yesterday 12/29/22. I no longer have a need for NameCheap's services, there are no outstanding payments or obligations and I simply want to close my account. NameCheap will not allow me to do this without providing increasingly intrusive levels of personal information.
