      We made a reservation for Dec. 9, 2024 at the *********** Express in *******, **. It turns out we cannot take this trip. We requested a refund - only to receive no response and to be given a phone number to call that only has recorded messages referring callers to a website and/or email - which we've already tried ***************** this point, this company appears to be a total scam.

      Its a rip off to pay for cancellation insurance when they dont refund you. My husbands boss changed his vacation day at the last minute and so he couldnt take off work to go to **************************** with me and the kids. I paid for the insurance but apparently it is very specific on the reasons they will refund you. What a scam!

      I used the web site to rent a room in ********************* on Nov3thrd, for 4 nites the site says $480 , I did not buy any thing else and they never clear the total with me $667 before I click my apple pay , with taxes the total should not exceed $510.00 , my family think I been scammed of $ 157 extra charges without my permission, I reported to my credit card.Sadi A

      DO NOT GET THE PROTECTION PLAN IF YOU GO TO *********** IN ****. If I could leave a -100 star rating I would. My bestfriend and I got fast lane passes and insured them. Due to weather only 3 rides were open, so we did not redeem our fast lanes passes. Mind you, they were $150 a piece. So $300. The company only gave us $100 back. Even with all the proof and evidence of not redeeming them, weather reports, cedar points website that day, etc. They would not call her back to talk to someone. Battled with them for a month, before just settling on the $100. Then when it got sent, they charged a fee!!! They only sent us $99.02!!! If we would have not gotten the protection plan cedar point would of reimbursed us for the full amount. So again, DO NOT GET THE PROTECTION PLAN. If by chance you do, research who it's through, because Protecht Company does not protect.

      I have been trying to get a refund from this company since Sept. 29, 2024. I have turned in all the paper work they have requested. I keep getting the run around telling me it has been sent to the building supervisor and they will be in contact. I received an email on Oct. 11 and had to send in more information that a Hurricane occurred and that roads were closed. Everyone in every state knows that there was a hurricane and how devastating was. I was told today by the customer service representative, I understand your frustration. I told him I don't think you do. He is not the one out $658.51. What is the point of having this service if you have to work so hard to get your money back.

      When I made a reservation at a Quality Inn, I purchased the reservation Cancellation Insurance. I never received any confirmation from Protecht that I purchased the insurance; and when the event we were to attend was cancelled, I cancelled our reservation.Attempted several times to obtain the link to request a refund with no success. Email correspondence with company told me they could find no record of my information. Attempts to contact Protecht by phone also failed.Bottom line is that this cancellation insurance is useless. Would not recommend Protecht or any hotel that does not a corporate refund policy. Luckily, my reservation was only one night.******* V

      Predatory. I cannot run a race because I am injured and need a few months off of training. They are telling me I need a doctors note for it, and I am not going to pay extra for a doctors note for a refund protection that I paid extra money to have. I am a struggling college student who uses running and this company is taking advantage of people by saying they offer refunds and then making it near impossible to actually use what you paid money for.

      I could take a sentence from every negative review below here and come up with my narrative. They make it dang near impossible to "prove" your issue for a refund that it appears they're banking on you just giving up in the process. I WILL NEVER deal with or use these clowns again. I don't feel as slighted now after reading reading some of these reviews because they're a scam if I've ever have seen one and that's just what they do. ****** learned. My issue now is why a respectable event that we attend every year would ever use this scam of a company. I really wonder if they know? Lost $110 for a legit claim.

      Do not use this company! I had to cancel a reservation because a HURRICANE came through the area we were booked. We were told by family in the area that roads were closed and power lines were down. I found the road closures and sent screenshots of these roads and still was denied my refund. My reservation was canceled several days before we were supposed to be there. We contacted the hotel and they were canceling reservations made through them directly for this very reason. I have sent emails and called and could never get a call back. I would hate for someone to lose money for the same reason.

      Horrible!!! I had to cancel my reservation in advance due to being hospitalized for a week. Submitted note from hospital of my my stay, a snippet of after patient visit summary, my receipt of reservation and copy of where airline issued refund and they are still asking for a doctors note that I could not make it check in.
