1 starTried to cancel hotel reservation 2 weeks in advance; hotel was fine but was unable to cancel due to Protecht insurance being purchased at time of booking. Protecht wanted doctor's notes regarding post-surgical complications that are none of their business. This is a scam. They aren't paying the hotel and are just keeping the money.Protecht Inc

1 starScam.......they ask for a doctor's note to prove you couldn't go to a football game that they are "covering" with their insurance.......and guess what, doctors' offices are closed on a Saturday, when 99% of football games are. I got a refund with my credit card, but don't make the same mistake I did- don't purchase their protection for football games.Protecht Inc

1 starThey are a con . i bought insurance for attending six flags over ******* and it rained 08/16/2024 out .it stated on the policy The coverage under this peril (Weather Inconvenience Coverage) would apply as such: Weather Inconvenience Coverage pays a one-time cash benefit if the event you are attending is suspended after the start of the event for two or more hours as a result of bad weather."that is exactly what happened it rained out after less than two hrs all rides closed event was supposed to end midnight 7pm to 12am it was shut down 8.:40pmProtecht Inc

1 starI purchased two rooms at a *********** in *********, IN. I used theProtect protection. No where did I see anything restricting my refund if I cancelled. I called your number and was told I would receive my refund of $1067.74 from someone who sounded like an Indian accent. He said I would receive this refund within 2 weeks. That was July 22. This was fora reservation in September *****th. Your Help contact number is bogus. You can not talk to a representative. Your email contact only allows minimum assistance. 1 starPlease read everything before purchasing. I made this mistake. Due to cancelation of our event the hotel had no problem refunding our money when the situation was explained. However ************************** would not. Wanted me to supply information they could of gotten themselves. 'Purchased by mistake is not a refund option'. Please don't purchase. 1 starAbsolutely fraudulent, they will do anything they can to not issue you a refund that you pay the insurance for, rejecting a PCR test, and requiring personal medical documentation as to why people with Covid didnt go to an event.Protecht Inc

1 starDisappointing I would never use fanshield for *** event that costed me $250 dollars. I will never use this service ever again. I submitted a refund request stating I was working. I am scheduled to attend a mandatory class for my job the day of the event and provided them a letter from my director stating the reason stating I am attending a work related class that is mandatory as proof that I cant attend the event. They denied my request. Stating I provided insufficient evidence. They asked for receipts such as a hotel receipt. I dont have any receipts for a hotel. I am ***** minutes away from the class. 1 starThis is nothing but a scam. I was booking a stay at a hotel for 3 nights. The price was $167 per night. I have stayed there before and like the hotel. When I submitted my reservation request i was billed over $850. I went back and looked and I was charged $288 for something. I went to cancel my reservation and they will only refund me $526 dollars. This is literally nothing but a scam. Look very closely at your reservation before you submit it people. I dont travel a lot so this was a huge learning event for me. These blood sucking companies try every way they can to steal every ***** they can from you. I wish I could give them 0 stars.Protecht Inc
