    3 STARS .... The Certificate is well respected, but maintaining the CEUs requires a HEAVY work load every other year. I have been a NASM trainer for 7 years, and I am debating keeping my license strictly do to the demands of CEUs requirements. The requirements are more expensive, more time consuming, and more strenuous than maintaining a medical Nurses license. (My *************** are Oncology and ER Nurses and they do not have to spend half the time or money I have to do just to be a Personal Trainer.) It is absurd.For example- I took a 3+ month course, and an online & in person CPR class .... and it was not enough to qualify to keep my license. I am now doing another course to make up the "0.4" CEUs still needed. I work 5 days a week as a trainer, I run my own fitness company, and I am a Mother and wife. I juggle a lot. So adding 4 months of NASM classes this year has been really strenuous. Just a warning- know what you're getting into. You will be a student, every other year, for as long as you keep the NASM license. Maybe find another path.

    Worst educational system Ive ever experienced. Everything I studied land the practice test wasnt even on the exam. It was misleading and questions were set up to intentionally mislead people especially if the person has a form of disability. I reached out to PSI and sent in my disability forms from elementary and college and still didnt accept it. Which made my process much difficult for me. It is discouraging and the people at NASM. Have been rude to me and have given me the run around so many times. So much money and time has been spent on this program. Never did I ever feel I would be redirecting my career due to an exam which is not set up for everyone. It is disappointing! And if youre actually going to teach and help those who are looking to use this career to help others. Then f****** make sure your Q&A from the practice exam is on the actual exam. How is it that I passed my practice exams but didnt pass the actual exam. NASM needs to Structure it in a way that its user friendly to everyone including people with dyslexia! WORTS EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM

    I have been trying to get a hold of customer service through email for the past 4 months, no joke. Most of the time I have simply not received a reply. On the one occasion I got a reply, they stated they could not help me at this time because they needed further information. I replied with the requested information. I was then ghosted again, never receiving a follow up email after I provided them with the requested information.I just emailed them 5 days ago to give ANOTHER try for help. Still no response. I cannot condone any company that has such a poor customer service department. Because of this ongoing issue that I am not receiving help for, I can no longer log into my account, meaning I cannot access continuing education classes needed to keep my NASM certification active. As a result, I am at risk of loosing my personal trainer certification and will no longer hold the necessary qualifications to work. It's just mindbogglingly ridiculous.

    fraudulent practice - providing misleading info - very not trustful - missed on a promise to be able to get paper books since not having regular online access - than asking for additional 300 for a book

    Worst customer service ever. Live chat agents never available. Wait 30+ minutes on hold to get no answer or no help. Shady business practices like recertify for life programs and then don't recertify and try charging you for the entire course again.

    They convinced me to sign up for the program during the promo period because the deal ends today I was never ever told about a 28 day policy. Also they only wanted one dollar to hold my spot in case I ever wanted to attend in the future, and told me I didnt need to call back unless I took the class. After a year later, my info was sent to the debt collector for 3k for a $1k or less class.

    Unethical business practices they also nickel and dime you I had my card stolen and used and had to get a new card and they charged me to change my payment method completely unethical and they're there to help people? No they're there to make money off of you no matter how they can... disgusting

    Do not use NASM for whatever certification you are needing. *** had multiple issues and had to wait 20+ minutes on the phone with them each time, sometimes with them not even picking up. There is a survey you can do after each phone call that I would complete as unsatisfied on every category and I still got no contact back. Ive had issues with the test ******* they use(PSI) which isnt their fault, but you would think by now they would have **************** they partner with. On top of that, I had to go through not one but TWO appeal processes to get a test discounted. Overall, my experience has just been an absolute shitshow, and the help and contact services they provide dont help you to find any resolution.

    I'm not even sure the company is legitimate. No one ever told me when my test date was, but now I have to pay $200 to push it out after I just found out about it. I contacted customer service over a month ago, and every time I reach out I get the "someone will respond in 3-4 business days". Nobody has ever responded to me. I called the customer service line for members and was on hold for over thirty minutes until finally, a rude agent answered the call. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone who is looking to get certified.
