1 starThis is a fraudulent scam company. I paid $200 as a down payment towards three certifications totalling around $1700-$1800. The $200 was to allow a payment plan of seventeen payments. I paid the $200 on 07/16/2023. Within 24 hours, I realized I didn't like the study methods that they gave. Everything they offered was out of a browser based system. Which is fine, not everything is going to work out. They offer a 28 day return period and a refund. What they don't tell is that the refund is based on the total price of the package, minus a ten percent fee. So they don't refund you what you paid, only a refund of the total price minus the fee. So my refund would have only been $25 out of the $200. The total price was around $1700 and ten percent of that is $170. They take that fee from the amount I paid, only refunding $20-$30. Let me make it clear, I didn't access any of the content, zero. I didn't use any of their services. The order was placed 24 hours ago. So they are stealing all of my money for nothing. I gave them $175 for absolutely nothing. This is a massive scam. I contacted my bank and reported. They agreed with me as well as my wife. This is wrong and they should be held accountable. I will be getting my money back any day.If you can stay clear of them, I would. They offer a 28 day return period and it said we get refunded based on the total amount paid to date, but they will try and scam you over the phone. Don't let them do this to you or anyone else. I will be posting this review on many sites in hopes that others will see this.

1 starThe helpline and contacts are completely different and even rude once you buy something. Before you buy they are nice helpful and available. I have a registered disability and I am still struggling to get accommodations. My dr sent a letter. I have a BA and it was not this difficult in college. Im astonished.

1 starI am so disappointed with this business and will never go back. I purchase the Elite Bundle and started making payments. Everything was great until my husbands company moved him to part time instead of full time, lowering my household income for now. I called in to cancel my enrollment since now I can't afford it but the company wont let me cancel my enrollment. I did submit an appeal and it got denied. The only way to cancel enrollment is death, illness, military deployment or employment, life changing events are not included. So now, I can either pay my monthly payments (which I can't afford) or have them send me to collections because I can't afford my payments. I tried calling and posted on ******** and same conclusion. I read the comments below and NASM responded with " please contact via phone to discuss any possible resolutions and/or further assistance"...but there isn't. Every time I call, its the same resolution, since I didn't cancel within the "28 days refund policy", I'm stuck and pay your payment. What type of customer service is that? Your appeals should include life changing events. I sent in a copy of my husband's paystub to show the change and my appeal still got denied. I'm not even asking for a refund, I just want them to cancel my enrollment. Paying $100 per month for something you are not using, is not right and you forcing people to stay in school is not right either. NASM will not stop me but next time, I'll go to a real college/school.

1 starI signed up for *** cert 4/22/23 and was convinced by recruiter to upgrade to Elite Bundle. She hadnt made herself available until after i signed up.on my own. She was so eager for me to sign necause "this deal ends today" and I was not made aware of the 28 day cancelation policy (I learned of this when I went on an email and clicked on FAQ). I expressed concerns to recruiter about the high monthly payments, but she insisted that I'd be making good money by then by finishing the *** cert and could move onto the Wellness later. She also said that I could defer 2 payments if needed. To begin with I continually get errors on website and have to log out and fight to log back in. Which, for what they charge it should be not so difficult to access.Things in my life have changed. I don't have the time, money, or resources for the entire bundle requirements. I emailed 5 times and texted the recruiter 3 times for advice. No response from either. Called, on hold for 20 minutes, the customer service representative was like a robot. No help, no compassion, nothing. Funny though, after I spoke to customer service, the recruiter finally texted back. "Sorry you're going through this. I can't cancel it. Member services have to hear you say it." Well, member services heard me say it and did nothing. I know it's like 40 days after I signed up, but even if there is a cancelation fee or to just go back to my original plan....but nothing. Would not budge. Would not work with me.In process of speaking to my attorney. If nothing else, I'll unauthorize the payment from my bank. This company is less than stellar. I do not recommend using them at all!

1 starNever purchase from NASM! They are heartless! I purchased this course for my husband who resides in a foreign country, awaiting a ***** He was unable to start the course due to medical reasons. He had problems with his eyesight (an optometrist's note was emailed to NASM). We were told he could start when his eyesight improved. In addition, the *** course was not offered to individuals in his country, only to institutions or groups of people, my husband could not proceed with the course, necessitating him to have to start/complete the course upon arrival to the US. Upon notifying NASM, I was told that it would be ok to wait until he arrives in the US and he could start the course at that time without any exam eligibility concerns or problems, whatsoever. My husband has since been hospitalized with a debilitating illness and will never be able to take this course. I sent supporting documentation to NASM: a letter from the hospital surgeon, a doctor's ****** and the NASM Refund Request form. Reimbursement was denied. They totally ignored our dilemma!NASM replied: We have reviewed your request to cancel your program due to your unfortunate situation, however, at this time we are unable to approve your request. As your order is paid in full at this time it would be ineligible for cancellation of payments. It is also not eligible for a refund as your exam eligibility has expired. As a courtesy for the current issues that you are facing an extension has been approved.? While we understand that this isn't your preferred outcome we would like to offer a full restart/ upgrade of your course to the *** 7 self study package, without any additional fees. Once you are ready please contact ****** Services by phone to restart your program. Additionally NASM offers a online ***/AED course for our members to take in order to complete that requirement to test on their exam. Please contact us for further detail on this course.Sincerely, NASM ****** Services

I received this response from NASM via email 5/8/23: Hello *****, we appreciate the feedback and apologize for the experience this far. In regards to a refund, NASM has a 28 day return policy from the date of purchase. However, in the event of an extenuating circumstances within the courses enrollment period alternative options may be provided. In addition, testing accommodations are also available upon the required medical documentation being submitted to the appropriate department. Please contact ****** Services via phone to discuss any possible resolutions and/or further assistance. This response does not have a deadline for me to get back to NASM. The response now mysteriously reads like this with a deadline of 5/8/2023: Clearly, a deadline has now been added to the response! Look carefully to see a period after the word assistance and then the date was added! Hmmmm, not a good look!I reached back out to NASM, customer service for resolve on 5/9/23. I informed **** that I had received an email 5/8/23 suggesting that I contact NASM for resolve and read the email to him. I was told by **** that NASM had no record of my complaint to the BBB nor record of any response from NASM to the BBB. I asked **** how that could be possible when the BBB provided me via email NASMs response! **** had no answer. **** also asked me if I had responded back to the BBB and I told him that I had not because I was giving NASM an opportunity to resolve the matter because it had only been one day. (There was never any discussion regarding a deadline of a response from me. Did **** later go back and add the date???) **** stated that he would have to investigate the matter and get back to me the same business day. I did not get a call back.I appealed NASMs first response and then submitted a complaint to the BBB, 4/11/2023 because NASMs response to my appeal again ignored our extenuating medical circumstance. NASM states a medical issue as an extenuating circumstance and requests documentation to be submitted to them. NASM never stipulated these words to me until now "within the courses enrollment period alternative options may be provided." Perhaps, this is now going to be NASMs loophole/excuse not to refund me.Unfortunately, my husband was unable to take this course that I purchased for him due to medical reasons and I provided NASM with medical documentation supporting that my husband's medical condition prevents him from working or studying, indefinitely. The response that NASM provided to the BBB, 5/8/23 is like the response that NASM provided to me prior to and at the appeal level. NASM has totally ignored our extenuating medical circumstance, advised me to reach out to customer service for resolve and then has offered zero resolve!I have provided NASM with the medical documentation requested. Therefore, I am asking NASM to do the right thing and please issue a full refund of $1000 for this course. **************Review fromJustin P.

1 starMy wife has tried for 2 days in a row to take her online exam that is mandatory to be proctored. For 2 days we have paid for child care to ensure nobody is in the house with her, a requirement since it proctored. For 2 days NASM and their partners have been unable to make the test active and for 2 days 1.5+ hours have been spent on the phone with support only to be told we must reschedule and try again. This is a requirement for my wifes job and NASM is not taking it serious nor do they want to help. They are doing nothing to take ownership. The only the thing they do well is take customers money and offer little to no support. This company needs to be investigated and should not be allowed to provide services to the public until a software review and analysis is done on the system to identify all the issues that their so called tech support cant fix.NASM I welcome a phone call from someone above their 1, just tell me how to get in touch with someone and we can discuss this further in detail. I am happy to provide screen shots, emails, whatever you need. Im also happy to provide an invoice for my time wasted, child car cost lost, salary lost, and my own tech support rate for being in the phone with you for so long.
