    I purchased the Elite Package from NASM with high expectations, but my experience has been extremely disappointing. I have been unable to access the course due to persistent error messages. This issue has meant that I can't access the course that I purchased and despite repeated attempts to contact NASM, their customer support has been completely unresponsive.Ive reached out multiple times, yet no resolution or meaningful assistance has been provided. This lack of support and failure to address technical issues is unacceptable for a company that markets itself as a leader in professional training. I am now left with a service I cannot use and no clear path to resolve the problem. Extremely disappointed to say the least.

    F*** your scam of a business. If I could sue over this s*** I would. I can't take a f****** practice exam before my actual exam bc of a **** technical difficulty? Good business practice would be extending the exam date until you have fixed the **** issue. Absolutely absurd. I will never ever recommend this company and please believe I will blast the f*** out of this company I'm so fed the f*** up with this ********. THOUSANDS of dollars to not be able to access my courses the day of the exam and you tell me to pay MORE MONEY to extend it because of a problem on YOUR SIDE? F*** YOU

    We apologize for any confusion, unfortunately *** is unable to make exceptions to the strict legal name policy, due to this you were unable to take your exam and prompted to pay an absent fee. We want to reassure you this was not due to a technical error with our systems and your exam is secure. Both PSI and NASM/**** require you to have your legal name on the account for exam integrity/security. As the proper documentation has now been provided to have this updated, a member of our management team has reached out to provide you a one time courtesy due to the confusion.     I purchased the bundle for Personal Training and Nutrition. DON"T DO IT. Unless you have unlimited amounts of time to study for both. I did not realize that they had an expiration dates on the tests and mine expired 2 days ago and they want to charge me $200 to take the ******** test. I paid out of my a** for this course. I had to finance it bc I am tight financially. I asked that they give me a 1 month extension because I was unaware and they said that because they informed me in 2023 that they will not honor an extension and if i wanted to get certified I would need to cough up another $200. I couldn't find my test in my account so I decided to call them. 'm not sure who they spoke to in 2023 but it was not me because I purchased this package online. I never spoke to anyone. They honestly do not care about anything else than making money. Unfortunately if you want to be a personal trainer, you have to get your certification through them. At least I already got mine and can't afford to do it all over again. So they do whatever the h*** they want. Steal peoples money, and we can't do anything about it. Rethink and maybe look for another certification. Not worth it. Don't make the same mistake I made.

    That sounds like a confusing situation! We understand that it can be difficult to keep track of all of those different expirations as well. Since you contacted us just a couple of days after your Nutrition Exam expired we would be happy to offer you a courtesy 1-month extension.     If I could give them zero stars I would. I live in ************** which went through a literal disaster (hurricane ******) so I tried to appeal to stop the service as I was unable to work for a bit. I was under financial distress and even qualified for food stamps because of my financial situation. Not only did Nasm not give a ****, they took longer than the 15 business days to make a decision in which they told me basically what boils down to ***** you were money hungry.

    I completed the *** specialization Jan 17, 2023. I was homeless at the time. I started the Master Trainer certification while I was in transitional housing but I couldnt maintain the housing utilities in addition to the NASM monthly payments. They did not have any financial hardship programs nor Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practices to hold me in occupational security in comparison to white NASM personal trainers. On their portal, none of my certificates are available even though I have 4 NASM certificates. I cant recertify and work as Im on section 8. This isnt a business for people like me. I dont even know what fitness organizations dont practice this gross negligence.

    We acknowledge the difficult situation that this customer has experienced and as a result have attempted to help them on all fronts. Our customer service team just recently provided information to you regarding a recertification appeal due to exigent circumstances (11/8/2024). We also provided a deferral of one monthly payment in response to the financial hardships you described (3/23/2023). This customer still has many valid certificates, however, both their CPT and CNC expired in 2023 and will require additional work on the customer's part to renew at this point (which has been explained).

    NASM responded about the recertification appeal. However, they did not respond about their lack of resources for customers who are constitutionally deprived. They have no scholarship programs nor sliding fee certifications for BIPOC and q**** humans. They did not have any resources for me to continue my education while I was experiencing a tremendous amount of trauma. Yet they sell wellness education without trauma informed practices for a person like me living with a medical chronic condition that often lends me to unemployment and homelessness. NASM does NOT care.

    I opted for NASM elite package and passed my CPT in 6-7 months where there are 4 courses bundle and paid more than $2000. This includes Gym internship as well as job guarantee. When someone is an investor they just see the brighter side of it and ignores the grey part. Same things happned with me. I had to take numerous follow-ups and phone calls for an internship program and placement. My calls were ignored and sometimes are not responded at all. This gives a mental setback a feeling of regret that why should a person invest triple or 4-5 times more money on buying a package. Its really frustrating. They do not have any complaints board and I just have an email for the trainers team. If some of the team member reaches then after sometime if the facility do not offer internship and placement and reaches to Trainer team then they do not respond. Why should a person waste their hard earned money. There need to be a grievances team to escalate the matter. My credit card is still getting swiped for monthly payments as its in monthly installment. I won't recommend it to anyone as they are just trying to fool people in the name of certification and job.

    Terrible customer service and ability to resolve issues.I decided to enroll in their NASM one option over the summer as it seemed to be a good deal to recertify.I have had an account since July (now october) and been unable to access the *** library. First, I couldnt even view the library. Then, after two months, this was fixed. This really should not have taken two months and so many phone calls and emails. Now, I can view the library but I can't enroll in anything!!!! Due to a new error.Extremely frustrated. Every time I contact customer service, they take a long timeto reply and do not seem to refer to the history of emails so I end up repeating myself. I get they probably have many people contacting them, but its frustrating nonetheless since I am paying alot of money for this service.Will not give refund for all the months I missed due to their server errors. Claim they will extend my membership to make up for the lost time but will not confirm that end date ...so I guess I will just have to hope i get access one day and that ill be able to renew my certification in time... And extending my membership does not solve my issues - I had alot of spare time in the summer to work on my recertification courses but I do not anymore. I'll certainly make it work and get recertified in time... if they give me access to enroll in the courses.

    They are very good at selling and getting you in. Once you pay, forget about anything. Their customer service is basically non existent. If you sign under false promises(that is what they give you and they wont provide you with a copy of the terms and conditions) then the customer services will answer that it is not their problem what the salesperson said, they are there to sell and it is YOUR responsibility to make sure that they are real (remember, check the terms and conditions that you will never receive but they do have them on their side -- which again, you will never see) and they cant do anything about it. Save your money and go someplace else. It is not like you will be learning anything by getting the certification. Seriously, you already know everything you need to be a trainer. If you don't know much, you wont gain much with NASM either. Study a biology book and you will pass this test. It really does not teach ANYTHING about training. Biggest scam out there.

    Would give no stars if I could. I am deeply disgusted by how this business treats its network of trainers. Their predatory business practices exploit individuals for monetary gain, completely disregarding the hard work of the trainers. NASM's response to concerns is disheartening, as they require costly efforts for trainers to redo all of their work, if the recertification window lapses, without any regard for the expenses associated with having to redo the beginning CPT course. The appeal timeframe is a sham, and the requirement to re certify every two years is, as I have mentioned, predatory in its financial demands. This is unacceptable but not surprising since NASM operates like a greedy corporation. I will NEVER recommend NASM what a waste of money and time!!!!

    We attempted to contact this customer regarding their complaint, however, were unsuccessful in doing so. We understand the customer's concern and hope to have a senior agent connect with them on possible solutions to getting certified again! The NASM CPT is an accredited certification so we do have certain rules and regulations that we have to adhere to to maintain that accreditation. We have renewal periods to ensure trainers practice current techniques that are in line with current industry standards. These renewal periods are typical of the industry and most recognizable gyms require up-to-date and renewable certifications. Additionally, we review pricing and purchasing practices to ensure that we are offering a great product at a good value. We would encourage the customer to give us a call to see if we can help them get certified again at a good value!

    Would give negative stars if it were possible. They stole my money and still owe me a refund almost six months later. I have yet to see it happen. They did not answer the phone during the cancellation timeframe and now claim that somehow I owe them when they are the ones at fault for this. Whats the point of having a cancellation period if you arent going to allow them to cancel???
