      Worst bank I have ever dealt with. **************** is pathetic and wait times are ridiculous. I'm surprised that they are still in business. I would give them 0 stars if it was an option.

      I had this misfortune of BECU picking up my truck loan from a dealership in 2019. It has been nothing but h*** every 3-6 months like clockwork. This is a terrible financial institution and the customer service has gone downhill at a very steady rate in the last 2 years. Do not bank with these guys.

      Im a Small Business owner in ****** and also a divorcee court ordered to retain my Mortgage and remove my ex husbands name. *** tried to assume the loan for my current residence Ive been living in and paying the mortgage since going through divorce for the past year and a half. From Day one, working with *************************, who just refused to give any explanation at all of how the process works or why I was denied, to *********************** who blatantly stated that their department was understaffed And no one cares if or when they get back to people because they arent paying overtime anymore since ***** was dying down, my opinion could been totally different if just one of them had clearly communicated some parameters or expectations. After multiple attempts at assumption, emails that go without answers, and high frustrations, I decided to step into a BECU and refuse to leave without some answers. All I hear is, I dont work in that department and I do not know the answer.I have excellent credit and zero debt. I also have a lot of liquid cash in the bank. I paid $45,000.00 towards my principal, re- amortized the loan and I was still denied. My mortgage payment currently is ******* at *****% for 16 years 9 mo left. Ive applied for a new loan, also through BECU, and have been approved. The payment of the new loan is ******* at 6% interest for 30 years. A whole ***** difference per month. The other different, my current 36% over all interest to BECU compared to the new 116% interest. How can BECU possibly say the stand by their members and want to support them!? More like, pillage them in my opinion. Can you explain how someone can be disqualified for a whole 81$? Couldnt I of just put down more money towards my mortgage to reduce the payment more? Any amount of communication would have been so appreciative from Cenlar but it just never happened. All attempts at communication from ANY other BECU staff is just that I dont work in that department so I do not know.

      BECU is the worst financial institution. I wish icould give them a 0, 1 star is too much for their worst customer service (the worst ever), when i call no one has a clue, often issue is not resolved, can't wait to close all my accounts with them, dealing with BECU is headache

      Loans run through BECU create significant headaches as they do not easily setup automated payments. They are outdated and work on Faxes or mail to get this built. Their esign requires you pay their BECU loan with the BECU bank account that you do not have. It's 2023 and they cannot find a way to easily setup automated payments - don't use them for any loan. The only reason I've given 2 star is their CS team was accessible and understood their system was outdated. So +1 star for having good humans i guess.

      I requested that $9500 on my First Tech Choice Mastercard be transferred to my BECU Cash ********* card as part of BECU's promotion of 0% interest for 12 months. The amount was charged immediately to my BECU **** card but no payment has been made to First Tech as of today 2/27/2023. BECU says they sent a paper check on 2/10. First Tech says they do not have record of it.It seems to me that both financial institutions are playing with the system to earn more credit card interest. It is peculiar that BECU sends a paper check instead of doing an electronic transaction. Both institutions claim they have no control over this. Yet when I conduct a transactional charge on either of their credit cards anywhere in the US, the charge appears on my account within 24 hours. But they can't even transfer money to each other within 10 days even though they participate in what is known as shared-banking. I can use my debit cards interchangeably with their ATMs.

      I wanted to love BECU. I've banked there for about 10 yrs. had a mortgage with them, everything. I cannot tell you all the problems. Endless. Very disturbing to think this place is in charge of my money. Hours and hours on the phone. No "common" sense, no ability to problem solve their own issues (often simple ones) no professionalism. I have clearly voiced my concerns multiple times to this institution. **************** people are always polite and I believe they are trying but can't seem to get results. The individuals running BECU, sorry to say, are not bright enough for the job.

      Becu is the worst lender I gave ever delt with they don't care to help or try to provide help even though you tell them that you are going through a financial crisis.just last year I lost my job due to covid 19 I was able to find another job within a week or so I reported it to them that I was making 2000 dollars less than my last job and it was told to seek financial counseling.instead of offering programs that would help with my situation.instead it was can you make they payment today and why are your delinquent.these ppl don't they want you to miss a payment or you can't make a payment so they can repo your property that how they make they money.it's easier to Fuck you over than to help you.i will never do business with this company .i will also let all my friend and family know not to do any type of business with the vultures

      I have an autopayment set to pay my car loan. For BECU autopayment, you need your BECU savings account to pull payment from other bank and car loan will pull from BECU savings.They pull the money late by one day and charged me every month for late fee and insufficient funds. I only found out after almost a year. We dont have the time to baby sit our accounts and thats the reason why we do auto payment.I called them before and I was told not to worry about the notice I get on the mail as the payments are all good.Other banks will forgive you for 1 day delay but not BECU, although the delay is on their part.I tried to explain to their customer care but they wont hear me out and just insist that it was my mistake for not checking.Their system is very outdated. I will rush to move my car loan to another bank even if i have to pay more as its not worth my sanity to deal with this outdated, inconsoderate and unreasonable bank.

      Horrible place to bank. They have an app to notify you, but they do not use it. Multiple times major changes to my account with no notice. If I had other options I would take it, but I just dont make enough, so I am trapped with this awful company.
