1 starI will tell everyone I know how predatory this credit union is. They repoed my car that I had been paying on for 5 years becuase they didn't feel like processing a payment. Now that I am trying to pay the rest of my car so I can get it out of the repo yard the department that processes the pay off conveniently can not be reached. I have called dozens of times to be sent to a voicemail, be told that they will "have someone call me back" or another BS excuse. They are trying to rake up fees so much so that a person could not afford to get their car out. This company has no morals or ethics. As a health care worker who is just trying to be able to get to work to support their community this is sickening.B E C U

1 starI have had 4 Auto Loans with BECU and been a member with them since 2013. To this point I have always had great service with them till my last auto loan. I purchased a car 6 months ago and added it to my insurance, however there was a glitch in my app and my new car was never added to the insurance. I had auto payment each month from my insurance which I believed to be for my new loan but it was actually being applied to my previous vehicle which I no longer owned. BECU never received my updated insurance card and automatically added CPI for the months I didn't have insurance which was nearly $3000 and over 4 times more then the current insurance I was paying. This was not an attempt by me to save money by not getting insurance since I was clearly paying monthly insurance but it was mistakenly going to a vehicle I no longer owned. BECU did not attempt to call, text or email me once before charging me the **** I tried to talk and explain this to them but they were not understanding at all and claimed they sent me 1 letter warning me which I never once received. I am planning on canceling all my business with BECU and refinancing with a more trust worthy credit union if this cant be resolved.B E C U

1 star**************** is terrible. I had so many bad experiences in ONE year of banking with BECU. I refuse to use this account ever again. ZERO STARS!Go to WSECU instead. Their mobile app is easy to use, they allow you to skip loan payments (if needed), they ALWAYS refund me INSTANTLY for fraud, and they allow a much higher credit card limit. They also call about any suspicious activity on your card automatically, so you dont have to check your app every. Single. Day.Oh, and, WSECUs mobile app actually updates as soon as a transaction goes through. My BECU credit card that got cancelled for fraud still shows I owe a $700 balance 10 months later. What a joke.I have been using WSECU for 6 years and I only opened a BECU account because of the $150 bonus and 2-3% cash back. DONT DO IT!! Its a SCAM!!!B E C U

1 starBECU act as an abettor. This business allow the hoarder money spouses to hide money from their spouses and let hoarder spouses to emptied the joint account and transfer all the funds into individual private account without the knowledge of their spouses or any consent of the spouses. This business is in **************** which is 50/50 spouses state. This business is involved in the violation the state's laws. They should get highly penalized of their mischievous action against the victims spouse. I want to give 0, but there is no 0 star.B E C U

1 starRun! BECU stole money out of my account at the amount of $5,000 and refuses to respond to legal letters, phone calls, or email. If you have an auto loan, they are illicitly changing your amount owed. They have refused to respond to BBB attempts too, if that is important to you. This has escalated into a lawsuit. They are attacking all account holders.B E C U

1 starBECU - you get ZERO stars from us.The worst institution to deal with! ever! And now it's time for police and lawyers. Police report is already filed, attorney meeting on calendar. BECU is a disgrace to the community - claiming themselves as "member owned" and the shittiest organization who doesn't care about their member at all.BECU - You can't stop me till I bring you to justice.We have been with BECU for 23 years as a member and 6 years as a small business. And now they just screwed us over $750.They launched a new website earlier this year that has been nothing but nightmare - full of bugs and issues. We use their ******************* that is so glitchy that their IT team/ vendor should be ashamed of as a product they have as financial institution. Fes months ago, ******************* did not send a payment to a vendor for 3 months when they were supposed to, And today they sent one payment twice - TWICE!!!A $750 payment sent twice to a contractor from our business account.On top of that, their customer support people literally started yelling at me when i asked them to refund us that money, paid out by issue in their ******************* system.Over the full year, their customer service has been s***** Their CEO is always hiding behind a title - never ever accessible - phone, email, social media - nowhere. I have spent HOURS on phone on hold for their customer support for their buggy software. BECU - you are dealing with people's hard-earned money. Do you realize that? I'll see you in court!B E C U

1 star10+ years as a member. Father lived and died a boeing employee. Have never need becu to do anything other than hold my money, issue me debit cards when they expire, and as of the last few years increase my spending limit by 500$ to live a normal life. multiple requests to increase my limit have been denied despite imposing the importance of this needed change upon them. was looking forward to using their first time home buyers program in the next few years. instead I think ill stuff my mattress with cash so I can pay my rent without needing technology or time that I personally do not have. the 'credit union that works for you' certainly is not working for me. if you want a bank or credit union that may actually suit your personal needs, look elsewhere.B E C U

1 starEvery few weeks **** Card declined and after a long wait for a representative and then a longer wait (often 20 - 30 minutes ) to verify recent transactions with fraud I am able to use account again. I pay in full monthly, transactions that I verify are not unusual, and there is never a reason given by the fraud unit other than the perimeters set by BECU and they deny this has happened before. BECU said they have no way to explain or control their contractor.B E C U

1 starDeactivated card for what they thought was suspicious activity. Could not access account or funds had no open appointments to get a new card. Made me a disabled person have to sit in pain for hours. No accommodations made for the disabled.
