      BECU FAILED to tell my mom they dropped her credit balance from 11k to $500.00 they didnt even give her a heads up. She was embarrassed while she was in line as her card transaction did not go through. This is terrible customer service and I do not recommend ********************** as a bank. Absolutely horrific

      reduced my credit limit without notice now my charge put me over that limit. I always paid on time and I just received a raise in pay, no reason given I also had charges on this card twice from someone else and had to replace the card

      So frustrating. We have them for a car loan and they outsource their insurance proof website to someone else. I uploaded my items multiple times to prove insurance and none of their customer care **** seem to be able to find my proof. I spent 4 hours handling this issue with a *** from both my insurance company and the bank. I have never missed a car payment and I have owned cars for 24 years with zero issues. Until BECU. They are scam artists. I literally told the *** I will just eat the ****** because of all the time wasted thinking it was handled. They are doing this on purpose to nickel and dime us since most won't have enough energy to fight through their holding times. I am so angry and frustrated. ****** ****** ******* ****** *****, **** ******* ****** ***** are the best. Never had a problem. BECU is ****

      BECU used to be a decent responsive credit union. Over the last decade it has declined and declined. It is no different than large businesses where you can never reach anyone when you have a real problem - and each time you call in, you get a different person, and sometimes are directed to web-forms for "inquiries," where you won't receive back any useful information, nor a name of a person, or any contact information. In addition, there is no way to get to an ombudsman.After decades with them, I am done, done, done. I have 3 other credit union accounts, and all my assets will be move over to a competent caring business.

      Im so dissatisfied with Becu. I had a serious stroke in January which they were aware of I always kept in contact, because as of recent my insurance lapse, I cant pass a physical until numbness is gone so I can drive semi trucks again and my business is suffering and I have all the proof they still put out a repossession on my vehicle I pleaded and begged them to help me I have had serious health issues and absolutely not they said. I feel like this is a discrimination from new disability from the stroke they dont care and she thought this was not a big deal. Im a marine corps veteran and own a business and drive long haul semi trucks I am just trying to get healed and Becu has been horrible with trying to help me out with my medical issues. Im so dissatisfied

      An absolutely terrible financial institution. I used to bank there for many years, but moved out of their service area and thus requested my accounts be closed. Their response: complete an account closure request, mail/fax/or in-person ************ request to them, and then they will close my accounts.Are you kidding me? When a customer requests that you close their accounts, you close the accounts - period. You do no require extra work of the customer.Go elsewhere to bank. As many other former customers have reviewed, BECU has gone steadily downhill with respect to customer service. You can do a lot better elsewhere.

Closing an account is one of them. BECU offers a variety of ways to access your accounts, withdraw money and talk with BECU even if you move out of ****************.       I wanted to love BECU. I've banked there for about 10 yrs. had a mortgage with them, everything. I cannot tell you all the problems. Endless. Very disturbing to think this place is in charge of my money. Hours and hours on the phone. No "common" sense, no ability to problem solve their own issues (often simple ones) no professionalism. I have clearly voiced my concerns multiple times to this institution. **************** people are always polite and I believe they are trying but can't seem to get results. The individuals running BECU, sorry to say, are not bright enough for the job.

      Every few weeks **** Card declined and after a long wait for a representative and then a longer wait (often 20 - 30 minutes ) to verify recent transactions with fraud I am able to use account again. I pay in full monthly, transactions that I verify are not unusual, and there is never a reason given by the fraud unit other than the perimeters set by BECU and they deny this has happened before. BECU said they have no way to explain or control their contractor.

      Unable to contact anyone to help with a situation regarding my mortgage. Have sent multiple emails and made multiple calls and have been basically ran in circles and have no answers. Feels like the insurance company when they are trying to make you quit Guess its time for a lawyer
