Microsoft Office automatically charged my account $105 or so when I did not authorize it to do so. I no longer use any of the Office softwares. Used to be nice when the company wasn't greedy charging a yearly/monthly service for this. I don't need to pay for software I don't use and is never updated anyway. Would like to refund please.Business Response

The microsoft corp. has done an illegal act. They are telling me how I can use MY computer that I PAID FOR. In previous OS, I could turn off "updates", because they usually mess up a different program that I have installed. While lately, I have not experienced this issue, there is another issue, that the automatic updates, screws up. Some programs, requires, time to complete a task (i.e. video editing, video download, video uploads, and I'm sure there are others), so I let the program do what it needs to do, while I'm asleep. But, when I wake up, my computer has done a reboot, because of the automatic updates. SO, I now have to check to see if I need to restart all over, or resume from where the update killed the computer. It is MY computer, I DECIDE how I deal with MY computer, not microsoft. This is "dictatorship". I have asked several professionals for ms ** 10, and online research on this topic, and they have disabled my RIGHT to disable updates.Business Response

I have been wrongly billed by Microsoft for the past two months. I did not authorize any of these transactions. A user of theirs has obtained my card info and perpetually makes recurring charges on it. On 7/13/22, my ***** fargo **** credit card ending in **** was billed for 3 transactions titled "Microsoft*Store ***********" for $1.08 (totaling $3.24). I reported these charges and requested a replacement ***** fargo **** credit card ending in **** and somehow Microsoft has obtained this new credit card info from ****** account updater and has once again, allowed a user of theirs to process a new set of 3 transactions: 1 on 8/9/22, 1 on 8/10/22 and another on 8/11/22, titled "Microsoft*Ultimate 1 Mont" for $16.25 each (totaling $48.75). I am asking that microsoft completely remove my credit card information from their system and prevent any further charges. I also want a refund of $51.99 issued to my cards.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:When you contact the number provided, you are transferred to an overseas customer service department that is unwilling to assist. I am told that the person using my credit card info has 3 "outlook.com" email addresses on 3 different Microsoft accounts. These keep asking me to verify these accounts. I cannot verify accounts that i did not create. They refuse to delete/ban this fraudulent user and remove my card info from these accounts. I am providing the information requested of me via BBB. My Full name is *************************. The last four digits of the card used is ****. And expiration date is 09/24. I have also attached a copy of the front and back of this card with the first first 12 digits redacted for security. I am asking microsoft to please remove my information and refund the fraudulent charges

I am rejecting this response because: This senior member basically repeated the exact same thing that I was told by customer service earlier. I am being told that although they can clearly see the user fraudulently using my credit card details on 3 separate microsoft accounts they are unable to do anything because i can't verify the email address of the fraudulent user. Despite the fact that I have uploaded a scanned copy of the physical credit card, this senior member is telling me that there is nothing that can be done. This is unacceptable. I have never seen such incompetence in my life as it relates to an organization allowing credit card fraud and protecting a fraudster.
