Microsoft is at it again! Sending me a notice to update my payment method -- but I did that some time ago, yet they persist in using only a card that was deactivated because of unauthorized charges on my account. I updated my payment method and it appears to be in the account, but ******************** prefers to harass me and to use only the deactivated card!!!I am attaching a screenshot of the payment method Microsoft has used despite the update that I made some time ago. I am also including a screenshot of the new card that I registered with MIcrosoft, but they insist on charging the deactivated card as the account clearly shows!Whose fault is that? They have the relevant payment method, but it's more fun for Microsoft to use a deactivated card! I will state what I want done, and I don't want any lame excuses for the inefficiency of Microsoft when they choose to charge a deactivated card and annoy me because of THEIR MISTAKE!!!

      Customer Answer

      Date: 10/16/2024

      Dear *** or Madam:

My patience has worn through with Microsoft. I continue to receive harassing notices via email about
failed payments when the debit card ending in ************************************************* 7447
to my account and it appears in my account on the ******************** website. However, the notices show that
for some inexplicable reason, Microsoft refuses to charge the valid card and instead always charges
      the canceled card.

I have filed complaints everywhere and then some to tell Microsoft to charge the right card, but my
words obviously fall on deaf ears. I want some explanation that makes sense that Microsoft persists
in charging a canceled card and does not charge the valid card that is programmed into my account. I
have to ask what sort of employees persist in working with such insane practices. The information is
right before their eyes if they can see what is in my account. Apparently, someone at Microsoft
prefers to harass customers and gives employees direct orders to continue to harass a customer who
has provided valid information for paying for monthly charges.

I truly cannot begin to understand why this is happening. I will include a presentation that I created to
show what appears in my account on ******************** and the charges that Microsoft persists in making
when a valid card is programmed into the account. I doubt that there is any explanation that makes
any sense whatsoever. I call it harassment because Microsoft has been informed many times over
about the error that they persist in making by charging a debit card that is no longer in use and that
no bank will acknowledge. There is no sane way to explain what has been happening with no change
      whatsoever.

The presentation shows charges made to the canceled debit card ending in 9503 on one page and
the valid debit card ending in 7447 that Microsoft does not even acknowledge. I have presented the
information with added arrows to point to the information that is being mismanaged. Never in my life
on either side of the Atlantic did I encounter a situation so ridiculous and outrageous as I have
endured because Microsoft lacks the ability to process information that appears in front of their faces.

      Respectfully submitted

      ******* ****

I have been using Microsoft Bing to search information for over 4 years. As a part of deal, they are giving me Microsoft Rewards as an incentive. However, since the mid-2023, Microsoft all of sudden suspended my Microsoft Reward account. I had sent several emails to Microsoft support team in July and August 2023 requesting to resolve the issue. Other than the initial emails indicating that they had received my emails and would replied shortly. I had never received any further feedback.I had not knowingly violated any of the Microsoft Services Agreement as listed in its terms and conditions. The following are the Microsoft case# when I submitted to request for *************** #: ********** created on August 16, 2023 Case #: ********** created on July 1, 2023

I have been a consumer of Xbox and Microsoft products for 10+ years I have spent $15K+ dollars on my Xbox, Microsoft account. I was playing about 12 hours ago and went to sleep. I got back up got on my laptop and I was locked out of my Microsoft account because somebody hacked it and changed my email and my password without even having access to the associated email on the account. No warning, not a single email or text for me to stop the hacker. Ive been troubleshooting on their website for 3 hours now and it seems that Im IP banned from trying to create a new account to solve or help solve my problem. Any troubleshooting I try to do requires me to have an account, I cant create an account because ******************** for some reason isnt emailing me. Ive never been hacked before. Ive never had these issues before. It is ridiculous Ive been a customer this long giving them $20+ a month for subscriptions, etc. And there is almost nothing you can do when your account gets hacked. Then you try to create a new account to help recover the one that was hacked and you cant even do that. You cant even speak with a human unless you have an account!

      Complaint: 22279269

I am rejecting this response because: I was told on the phone by a Microsoft representative that my issue was being taken seriously and was considered a priority, I have only been emailed once since originally contacting Microsoft and the BBB. I was told it would be 3 days maximum till a "higher up" got a hold of me to start getting my account after already verifying that my account was indeed hacked. I don't understand how Microsoft thinks it is okay to take their time when dealing with a situation like mine. I had to go to the bank and cancel all of my debit and credit cards while working 900+ miles away from home because of this, Their lack of contact and priority or help makes it really seem like Microsoft just doesn't care.

I am rejecting this response because:
Microsoft was in contact with me after I had hit you guys up for the first time. I thought we were getting towards the end of what I needed from Microsoft. It seemed like they were going to give me my account back after I provided them with more than enough information. The final email I received from them. They told me to be checking my email on that and that I would see a response within a couple days. I have yet to hear from them again and Ive sent multiple emails asking them where they are or what is going on with my account. It has been almost a month since I last contacted them again now maybe even longer please help me. I have been paying for their subscriptions *************************************************************************************************** had probably had a well over $20,000 invested it blows my mind is that a company worth as much as Microsoft is will do little to nothing to help a loyal customer get their account back to make matters even worse. I used the same Microsoft account on that account for my work stuff so when this happened, it screwed me in a very, very major way. I also have more than enough time and money to get a lawyer if that is what is going to be needed because I am not just going to lose this account if Im going to lose this account Im going to be compensated for it!

Good afternoon, I've spoken with a few people (**** *****) already and they all say they cannot help me out. I have ticket#**********, ticket# ********** and Order Confirmation: 49eeffcb-90da-4590-9192-dd01a09f6cfe Code: M2HCY-GQGD9-4M2VP-RJW4M-7PR9Z.This was processed yesterday for 1 month ultimate game pass. Now, I sent the request for the 30 day pass on August 26th last month. It didn't process until September 11th. I paid for the subscription on September 9th. It says the subscription will end on the 21st for the redeemed code. I don't need an ultimate game pass for 9 days disguised as 30 days. Secondly, I would just like my points back. I've reached out to the emails provided by their "support" and turned out to be their agent sending false emails and links to gain my personal information. I tried calling ************ which led directly to "Microsoft support". Which that "agent" asked me to download something off the play store. Or that I "purchased a gift card/game". It was another spam number on Microsofts support page. Honestly, how can a business operate in ****** and not have any means of support for their "services and products" that they want people to purchase. By far Microsoft has the worst customer support in ******. I've had to deal with them multiple times over the years and they often have traps setup to keep you in a circle.Thank you, *********** *****

I am rejecting this response because: I have managed to resolve the matter with the Microsoft team. They didn't do what was requested, but they did refund the amount charged for the monthly subscription of $21.46 and left the active membership until the 8th of October (my next billing date). Basically giving me a month "free" and keeping the rewards points. Which is fine by me. Thank you again for the assistance on the matter.

      Sincerely,

I have been locked out of an old email account that I have had no access to for multiple years. It is linked to some of my accounts externally and the only way in which I can change and update those accounts email to my current email is be receiving codes sent to said old email *************************** I have been attempting to work with ********** support to resolve this issue and to get access for the sole purpose of updating email to current gmail account. The service has been exceptionally lacking and blatantly disingenuous. I understand that there are protocols in place but the only way in which I have been able to communicate have been through an email chain in which they have since blocked me. The excuse given was that I was unable to provide sufficient information. The information requested was subject lines of emails sent from the account... this is crazy since I have not had access to the account in years. All I wanted to do was speak to a representative to get the issue resolved and not only was my request denied but the support line blocked my emails. I am extremely upset with the service provided by this company and would like a resolution to my request considering there are no other available routes to get these accounts changed.

My Microsoft account was hacked, my username is *************************** Ive contacted Microsoft for the last 3 weeks to try and get this resolved but nothing has been done, Ive spent thousands of dollars and many years on this account and would like it back, my email and phone number are the primary on the account they can send me a code to verify its my account, but cant give me my account back. Ive talked to many agents from Microsoft and they keep saying the special team is working on it, they told me it would take ***** hours to hear back from them but its been well over the time period. Microsoft even asked about my password being changed and my shipping address being changed because the hacker tried to buy multiple Xboxs on my account.
