This company IQ DATA INTERNATIONAL is in clear violation of the **** for using my nonpublic personal information to contact nonaffiliated third parties or consumer reporting agencies and furnish an inaccurate collection account on my consumer report without providing full privacy disclosure to me before reporting this inaccurate collection account pursuant to ************. The company violated my right as a consumer to OPT OUT of this information being reported as per this section of the law. IQ DATA INTERNATIONAL is attempting to collect an alleged debt of $6381 due to the alleged original creditor IMT RESIDENTIAL which was clearly paid off with no balance (see the account data in my attachments below). The original account ending in 3621 furnished by *** RESIDENTIAL is reporting paid off with $0 balance and no late payments to the consumer reporting agencies. I do not have any agreement with IQ DATA INTERNATIONAL with my signature on it, as they keep decreasing and increasing the alleged collection balance by $7 every week, (see my attachments below), which is ABSURD and goes against **** rules and regulations. Their actions have caused my family and I severe damage to our livelihood as they are hurting my ability to obtain credit which they are liable for all actual damages caused. If IQ DATA INTERNATIONAL does not remove this inaccurate collection account they furnished to the consumer reporting agencies on (06/17/2024) without my permission using my personal information immediately, I will be in pursuit of litigation, legal action for identity theft (18USC1028) and unfair debt collection practices (15USC1692f). I received a letter on September 16th 2024 stating I owed 930.44$ from my previous apartment that was sent to ******* and that I needed to pay/dispute before it went to collections. I had already paid the debt at the time. I called the company and they stated to email with proof of payment to dispute. I did this email and never received any response or communication. I woke up this morning to a new account on my credit score from ******* stating I owe the 930.44$. Absolutely ridiculous as I paid well before and had done MORE than my part in this whole situation. does not adequately validate the claim under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and

To validate this debt, please provide the following within 30 days:
1.Proof of Specific Charges: Evidence connecting the listed charges (e.g., Plank Cleaning,
Accelerated Fee) to the lease agreement and supporting documentation (e.g., invoices, damage
photos, move-out inspection report).
2.Breakdown of Security Deposit Application: Detailed accounting showing how my $600 deposit
and credits were applied. The provided statement lists a remaining balance, but this does not
account for deposits appropriately.
3.Proof of Authorization for Charges: Provide evidence showing that the charges claimed were
agreed to in writing or otherwise authorized by the lease terms.
4. Explanation of Discrepancies in Document; the $600 deposit and $941.41 credit are subtracted,
but the breakdown lacks clarity, Accelerated Fees of charges of $733.65 and $524.03 lacks
explanation and justification based on the lease terms, Lease Agreement; terms for cleaning and
repair charges not aligned with California law requiring deductions to be reasonable and supported
by receipts or invoices. Debt Collectors cannot add unauthorized interest or fees.
Failure to provide these items will render the debt invalid. Furthermore, I request you cease reporting
this debt to credit bureaus unless it is properly validated, as any inaccurate reporting violates the
FDCPA and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

I have a collections account with ******* from an apartment complex. The account was paid in full to the apartments 4 days after receiving final notice upon move out. The information was sent to ******* before I paid the apartment office. My issue is that they CLAIM to have validated the debt. Which could not be possible if they had reached out to the original debtor. I sent receipts from a postal money order for the EXACT amount that was owed,and the tracking from the money order showing that it has been cashed. The fact that they rudely told me that I still owed on a debt that I know I paid is insane. Received request for amount of $3700 from the company. I called IQ last Friday, to both request and denied the claim. The agent refused to send me verification of the debt and didnt allow me to dispute the charges. When I ask for the address to send my disburse, they refuse to give me information, they become hostile towards me. I finally found the address which was a PO BOX. We moved out of an apartment 2/18/24 and got notice that we owed an amount for pest control. We were in communication with the leasing office about the charge since we had questions about the validity of that charge. We did not receive an answer until 03/20/24 and so paid the full amount via cashier's check on 03/26/24. I handed the check to the leasing office and got a signature and date as proof of submittal. On 07/05/24 we received a debt collection letter saying that we owed the amount already paid. On 07/15/24 I called ******* to dispute the debt to which they asked for proof so I emailed them with the copy of the cashiers check with signature. I did not receive any confirmation and NEVER received a debt validation letter so I called again on 08/21/24 to inquire about any updates and got told to forward the evidence to the manager which I did 08/21/24. Again, I did not get any correspondence back after sending the proof. I reached out again on 09/12/24 and got transferred to the manager who told me that it did not matter if we gave them a check and it would not suffice as evidence as payment so the only way to clear myself from the debt was to either pay him over the phone or get on the phone with my bank at that moment to have them investigate the outcome of the check. Due to my parental status, he harassed me since I was unable to spend more time on the call to try to connect to the bank because my 4 month old daughter was waking up from her nap. When I told him I would need to call back, he criticized me and told me I deserved to have the negative repercussions of the debt since I was "not committed" to getting evidence that it was paid then abruptly hung up when I asked him his extension so I could reconnect right to him when I was available. I got the evidence from the bank that the check was cashed on 4/17/24 and sent that via email again to ******* on 09/17/24. Still no communication so I tried calling again on 09/26/24 but was told they had no update.Customer Answer
