On or around February 11, 2025, I filed a dispute with the credit bureaus. I disputed IQ DATA INTERNATIONAL ********* as NOT MINE. On or around February 12, 2025, I called ******* and disputed the account directly with the data furnisher as NOT MINE. On March 17, 2025, I received a phone call from *******. The first ***** was a female named ******* *****. During the phone call she failed to say the ***** disclosure we are a debt collector, this is an attempt to collect a debt, any information obtained will be used for that purpose. She also did not attempt to authenticate me or ask for any of my personally identifiable information. During the call, she continued to interrupt after being asked not to; she also admitted that she deliberately and willfully interrupted me. In addition, she provided false and misleading statements while attempting to collect a debt. She then placed the call on hold twice while I was still speaking. Moreover, she made inappropriate comments complaining oh my god and whatever. I was then transferred to ***** who identified as a manager/supervisor. I told ***** Ill be submitting valid complaints against his company. He made inappropriate comments stating ohhh the BBB Im so scared and the **** is going to be shut down. He also antagonized me for attending law school and said then you should know the laws. I told him this account does not belong to be and instead of filing a dispute and conducting a reinvestigation, he continued to allude I was a liar and that this account belongs to me. This company is in violation of, among other things, the federal ****, FDCPA and Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices, including relevant state laws in **********; the ***** and RFDCPA. I seek to hold this company accountable. I also submitted a valid complaint with the ****, ***, ***, and California DFPI. Criminal and civil claims will be pursued.Customer Answer

I am writing regarding the collection account referenced above. I have reviewed my records and, after carefully examining the details provided in your recent communication, I am requesting that you remove this account from my credit report and cease all collection efforts.
I believe that this account should be removed for the following reasons:
Failure to Validate the Debt: Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Section 809, I have the right to request validation of any debt being collected. As of the date of this letter, I have not received proper validation of this debt, despite your obligation to provide such documentation upon request. Without this verification, the debt cannot be lawfully collected.
Inaccurate Reporting to Credit Bureaus: According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Section 1681s-2, all information reported to credit bureaus must be accurate and complete. I am rejecting this response because:The amount is inaccurate. This is no an attempt in rejection of the alleged debt rather the inaccurate amount the business claimed I owed.
Also, the original landlord increase rent with a very short notice 07.11.2024 while my contract expired on 09.14.2024 (See attachment). When I contacted them I was told is okay to pay just the *************** the month of September when my contract expired.
Then, I only saw Credit Report in my *****************. Then I asked for Debt Validation Letter on 02.23.2025 (certified mailed Debt Validation letter) from the business until now nothing has been done. ********** Bureau did same thing and no response until date. Attached is confirmation from ********** email and short notice from the original creditor.
In the case of additional documents needed I am willing to mail them to you for deep understanding and cancellation of this inaccuracy in my Credit Report.

I am honored to write to you this info needed to speed up the process. The creditor never provided me with any electronic or physical document; rather on 08.31.2024 the ****** apartment manager at the time provided me with a figure on a paper (attached below) that before I leave I have to make the payment for the 14 days stay which will mark the end of my lease.
After this day, I presented the ****** a "cashier check" with the amount of $614.95 including all bills (prorated) stated in the paper given to me, which was rejected by the front desk on the pretext that a general **** would be sent to me.
However, the ****** apartment NEVER contacted me again and I only received a call from the Debt Collector telling me they are in charge of an alleged debt.
And on Friday, 04.04.2025, based on BBB's demand to submit the last bill document from the creditor, I went there to ask for this document, I was told the office is not authorized to share that document with me. This is where I am confused on what to do next!

I had not place to attached more than 1 file in which I have clear evidence to prove this was inaccurate and the fact that The ****** Apartment notified me LATE of an increase of lease, I decided to complete my lease and leave the apartment.
Please find below an attached file from the email I got from The ****** Apartment (look date and time for an increase of rent and the time of the notification by law to be give customer).Suwai, would you please mind ask of the LAST BILL before I moved out? I guess they can provide that as well. I have also attached a pen written amount that was giving to me by the manager at the time.
By LAW I have the right to receive notification of an increase of a RENT in a long period however that was not the case I faced with this property. Kindly take a look on the attached file.

moved out 12/26/2018 and apparently in Feb 15 2019 this was on my report for over $5,000 to an apartment complex not once have I heard from ******* phone, email and or mail in regards to this debt. Now after my divorce last year i have decided to start searching for a rental since I have been repairing my credit i apply to see this apartment complex denied me due to this collection. I called to ******* today ************ @1:16pm call lasted 2mns 52s soke to a "*******" I explained the situation also stated that ********** has this closed back in Jan 2024 also explained to her they have it closed because FL Statue of Limitations is 5 yrs and this needs to be removed as soon as possible. She then states I am NOT removing anything and you should be held responsible for not paying your rent and that she does not care about the statue of limitations and will remain on my credit so it makes me look bad to rent since this will stay on your account and basically be forced to pay this otherwise you will have a problem renting. I automatically got pi***d who are you? you don't even know the situation? either way she was so unprofessional and so rude that I will be taking this further I would start here and keep going up the ladder until something is done here this is discrimination and so many things to mentionCustomer Answer

On 2/18/2025 I received a denial letter from an apartment complex due to an inquiry on my report come to find out *********** has decided to have this on my credit I thought this was all a satisfied the debt is over 6 yrs old and I decided to call ******* on the 18th at 1:16pm the call lasted only 2mns and 52secs I tried to explain this to the very rude representative telling her #1 this should be removed no matter what I don't have a debt with you I don't know who you are she immediately cut into say they don't provide documentation I told her this should also be removed to FL Statue ***** and is over the statue of limitations she then got irate and said people like you who don't pay their bills need consequences and we will NOT remove this from your account you need to have a hard time finding a place to live I said first of all you don't even know what happened the it's over statue of limitations it's removed from other bureaus she did not care and proceeded to say again people like you I then got irate and asked to speak to someone higher and wanted documents from where I signed with them and where is the paperwork letting me know if the debt 6yrs ago she then hung up and that is why call is only 2 mns and 52 secs this is Insane that this is even aloud and I am seeking this be removed and have a letter from company so when I apply to rents I can have s document stating this is removed I am ashamed for this woman to be so unprofessional and so cold hearted as if she has never had a debt this is absurd and there needs to be consequences for her actions and the company to allow such rudeness from a so called person for customer serviceBusiness Response

Received letter on Feb 3 (dated Jan 27 2025) from I Q International Data about collections from *********** apartments. This is the first we are hearing of any debit that was owed to ***********. Neither I nor the tenants were made aware of any issues prior to this letter. Why did it go to collections before we were made aware of a debit. There is no proof of this debit nor any details except this letter stating I own $5695.78 and I was reported to the credit reporting agencies.
