  They continue to skip at least one week a month and charge the entire route full price. They have been stealing from residents for almost two years. And refuse to even pick up garbages after being such an awful company. The town Or hopefully bbb, can hold them accountable.

  I have been bringing my household garbage to Casellas waste yard facility in Westbrook for years. The people in scale house we're always nice. The older lady up by the dumpsters who watched the yard was very nice as well. In the past year they put new people in there. The guy in the scale house never smiles like he hates the world. I can't even get a smile out of him when I tell him *** **** *** ******** ***** ******* credit card transactions. I had an experience there last week that makes me not want to ever go back there. One of the dumpsters in the yard is for metal recycling. Sometimes you will see stuff left on the pavement in front of the dumpster like little kids bikes and things that people might want to take second hand. You know the old saying someone else's trash is someone else's treasure. Lol Anyways I picked up a Troy-Bilt snowblower that was in great condition. It was left on the pavement in front of the dumpster. I picked it up for my disabled friend that has cerebral palsy. I have a snow plow on my truck. All I did was put gas and oil in it and it ran great. So on the following week I go to the dump yard and I'm talking to the yard attendant. Mr ****** from the scale house calls up on the radio. If the guy with a **** ***** **** pickup truck tries to take anything tell him he's not allowed because of liability reasons. We live in a sue happy world. I thought that was pretty bold of him to do that in front of me. I heard every word he said on that radio and it pissed me off. Meanwhile the guy that attends the yard told me it sat there for a week. You don't even want to know what I think of Mr ****** in the scale house. I am so ****** off with this place I don't want to return ever again. ** *** ** ********* *** **** ** **** *** *** ******** ***** **** **** ** ***** *** ** ** *** ***** ******

  We recently dropped Casella due to the ever increasing prices. When we discontinued the service we paid our bill. We then got another bill notification that we owe $47 for the month of September. A call was made asking about this charge. They said we were paying for the month of September. They were informed you picked up only one day which was September 1st. They were told we would pay the one day pick up but not a whole month. They said in their notes that a charge would be coming for the month of September service and that we were notified of this. They were informed that this is a lie and the only two things discussed were if we lower the price would you stay and what day the bins were to be placed by the road for return. The phone call was placed on hold for a bit then disconnected. Casella as a company/employees have integrity issues and bad business ethics. Highly recommend not using this service for your waste needs.

  My kids and I were sitting out front patiently waiting for the recycling truck so they could wave to the driver. The driver - *** - waved back, stopped to beep the horn, then got out and gave them treats for the dogs! They were so excited! We are not even customers of GFL or Casella. This was a random act of kindness that made my kids day. Wanted to say thank you!!

  I called them to inquire about pricing. Never heard back until I got a call at 6:30 am telling me a dumpster was being dropped off. I asked the driver who he was with as I had contacted someone else and set up a delivery and he said yeah, I guess. This is a criminal company forcing their services on people who simply called to ask questions. After many frustrating phone calls, I still get a bill for 40% more than what the other company had quoted! There needs to be action against Casella!

  This company should get a zero star. We've been a customer for years before ********************** took over and have no issues with our bill. I changed my account and add the new one before the scheduled auto pay, which falls on Saturday. I called Monday just to check if the payment went thru and they said yes it did. I put the new account in case something change, and they usually email me ahead of time when my bill is ready to pay. But, I was surprised that after more than a week I received a bill from the mail which cost me another $42.17 a total of $184.84 for returned check and late fees. $42.17 for returned check and late fees is too much for being a good customer for years, and this only happens once. I tried to asked them if they can removed that extra charge since it wasn't our fault, thinking they will considerate, but to no avail. Now, they lost 2 customers, mine and our daughters house too. Thank you Casella for being greed!!!

  Casella is the WORST company ever. ZERO STARS!!!! They don't come as scheduled sometimes they skip a couple weeks and then when they do actually come they don't even collect all the garbage they are suppose to get. It's there 1 and only job and they can't even do that right. They always leave the lid open and sometimes leave the trash bin in the road and don't even care to correct it. When I called because they didn't come as scheduled, surprise surprise. They said to wait until the end of the day and if they don't come then call the next day. So they didn't come that day, surprise surprise again! So I called and they said they will come the following week and you could leave the bags by the trashcan since they didn't come this week. So I did. Then, when they came they got the bags from the trashcan but didn't get the bags next to it that they missed from not coming the prior week. So I called once again and they said they reached out to the dispatch team. I called 3 times, once that day then the following preceding days. They said the same thing, they would reach out to the dispatch team. They would never get a response from the dispatch team. They would never come to pick up the trash they left behind so here I am waiting a month later for them to pick up the trash they should've picked up a month ago and told to leave it there once again for the next week that they come. I don't understand why they didn't pick up ALL the trash like they were suppose to while they were here. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND CASELLA! They raise their rates every single year and their service gets worse and worse every single year so I am not even sure why they raise the rates.

  Wish I could leave zero stars! The WORST company I have ever encountered. Our pick up days are supposed to be Friday but they seem to come whenever they want, then dont come the days they are supposed to. I had some wood in front of my dumpster Thursday that I was going to burn and move so it could be out of the way for them when they come (Fridays) and they came Thursday morning and then left because they couldnt access the dumpster. I called right when they left and told the woman that they arent supposed to come until ****** and explained the situation and she said they would still be coming Friday. I called Friday evening because they still hadnt come and yes I had all the wood out of the way and she said I would be serviced by the end of the day. No one came. I called again today and explained EVERYTHING from the last couple days and was told I would have to be called back Monday. Meanwhile my dumpster is FULL. Please if you have the choice choose another company. This one is so full of it. I feel like I had called and talked to these people multiple times in the last month. Not to mention the awful service in the winter that Im just not going to get into because well you just dont want to get me going. Save yourself the frustration and anger and go with ANYONE else.

  Casella is at the minimum the worst trash company in the northeast. Repeatedly changed pickup days. Randomly come an empty already empty cans out of schedule and don't pick up when supposed to. The customer ********************** is terrible and will treat you like you are an inconvenience to talk to. **** also not return phonecall. After some research I found they are a Terrible terrible company funded mostly by old Mafia money in a giant laundering scheme

  If I could leave zero stars I would. Casella bought out my previous garbage company that was amazing. Since then we've had nothing but issues. They do not pick up trash on days they said they would. Can't even tell me the right day (first they told me Wednesdays, then they tell me Tuesdays). Calls me to tell me that my garbage wasn't out (even though it was), does not return a multitude of phone calls I've placed to them about them not picking up garbage. Best response is "sorry we'll pick it up next week." Why would I believe that? My garbage has been sitting by the road for 4 days now, ready for the racoons and bear (I live in the southern tier) to come rummage through. If you have ANY other option, take it. Nobody could be worse than this company.
