  Dealing with Casella was one of the most frustrating experiences. My garbage was not picked up for 4 consecutive weeks. I called customer ********************** each week to inform them, and they kept ensuring me that they made sure it would be picked up next week. Each week, it was not picked up. Each week the Customer ********************** Reps told me they would follow up by giving me a call to ensure my trash was removed. I never received any follow up calls. After 4 weeks of missed trash pick up, I decided to terminate service. Upon cancelling service, I was told my trash cans would be picked ** in 5-7 days. It took the company almost an entire month before my cans were collected.... The cans sat in my front yard for a month with 4 weeks worth of built up trash (because of the missed pick ***** The trash blew all over the neighborhood for the month. I had to call and complain for them to finally make someone come pick up the cans. I would never consider working with Casella again nor would I ever recommend them to anyone else.

  Wow...look at all these reviews..one star for Casella! Lol the guy I talked to from Casella about canceling asked me who we are switching to. I told him a local company. He felt the need to inform me that a few ppl have cancelled that company and came back to Casella ?? and no way they can be dependable and charge half the price as Casella. I told them that's funny because seems my whole neighborhood is switching to that company and leaving Casella, no one has said one bad thing about the company I'm switching to...but yeah..once he realized I wasn't hungry for his b.s. he became rude and smug. We will not be back Casella ??

  I would give Casella zero stars. They fail to pickup the trash and or recycle on time. Lilac and Waste Management did a much better job. Casella took on much more than they can handle when they bought out Lilac.

  If I could give a Company ZERO stars I would! This is the WORST waste company we have ever used. We had a local company for years that was amazing and then Casella came in and purchased them. From day-one the service was terrible (missed pick-**** late pick-**** leaving trash on the ground). Most recently my Mother passed away November 15th and we placed ***** contractors bags out with our usual weekly tote (typically 1-2 bags...it's just two of us at home) and they took the tote trash but left the bags on the lawn two days before Thanksgiving. I called to cancel and they referred me to the website to submit a vague "contact us" form...they have no interest in what people have to say and obviously have no desire to make changes in their business model. I would think long and hard about choosing this terrible company to perform any service for you.

  Had Lilac as a disposal company, and it was great; never any problems. Then earlier this , year I received a letter saying Casella purchased Lilac, but the good service would continue. How WRONG that was! The garbage / recycling has never been picked up on schedule. This week it was not even picked up. With the high winds, the the recycling tote has blown over spreading recycling materials all over the yard. I called to complain and was told "they were running late yesterday, and will be by today to pick it up". No truck ever showed up. I am looking for a new company that is more reliable. I would NOT recommend this Waste Management company to anyone.

  Lilac disposal was bought out by casella and now garbage hasnt been picked up three weeks keep calling and they are telling me they are coming or truck broke down lol so I canceled garbage still here the worst company to deal with . I will be dropping bins off in front of company tomorrow if not picked up. ********* ** location

  I'm trying to replace this company. I called Lilac Disposal, and Casella automated system answered the phone.1--They don't pick up on their schedule. 2--They downsized my toter, but still charge me for the 96 gallon one. 3--Their customer ********************** promises, but what's promised doesn't happen. 4--Its very hard to reach them by phone. Usually I have to make multiple calls to actually get to to talk with anyone.

  TERRIBLE SERVICE! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! I had a bulk pick up called to ******** on October 4th. I was told they would come with a truck within **** business days. No show after the 10th day. Called again & again. A total of 3 times! I was told every time that they couldn't give me a date for pick up. Seriously? They said they had no idea. They couldn't even tell me if it was going to picked up in October! I cancel my service on 10/24 for a new service with Waste Management. THEN, they come & pick everything up the next day. That same day I receive a NOTICE OF VIOLATION from my town for having a couch on my curb for weeks. This company is an embarrassment.

  Without question one of the worst businesses that I've had the misfortune of working with. ***** disposal was bought out by this joke of a company, and since that purchase, they have not picked up my trash once. However, I did receive a bill for the no service that they provided.... Literally trying to charge me for a service which they never provided. The ownership should be embarrassed by this woeful abomination of a business...

  Casella drove their truck over my retaining wall cracking it. After calling about the problem, they told me it would be taken care of. I then get a letter from their insurance saying that the claim was denied. No one called or came out to look at it either as far as I know. I called the insurance ** to find out why it was denied and they've never called me back. They claim that they would return the call before the end of their day. It's to bad that a company this big can't take responsibility for their trucks damages. The worst company to deal with.
