    The BBB has received numerous complaints from consumers that allege paying a large fee to this firm for EIN numbers and the company claiming to be with the IRS.  Online searches for this company website show that the website is based in Iceland and not in the United States.  BBB strongly encourages consumers to visit the irs.gov website directly for any assistance in obtaining a EIN number.  Consumers report their bank accounts being charged hundreds of dollars repeatedly for fees and providing SSN, passport information and other forms of ID that have then been compromised.  To date, we have not received any responses to the complaints on file.

    searched for EIN online application online which I've done multiple times. First link looked like it was official but I've never done it on my phone. The link looked completely legit and asked all the same questions. Then there was a large charge which I didn't remember ever paying but unfortunately I was in a hurry and didn't think about it. I paid the money and then got a message about error 101 and was asked to upload my formation documentation. This also looked legit so I did it. It wasn't until I was finished with a project I was working on 30 minutes or so later, I realized these messages were not from the **** I'm on hold with the *** now. I feel quite stupid and I gave all my personal information to these crooks.

    On Feb 1, ************************************ # through this organization. I never had a chance to print my application and as soon as I hit submit, I sent an email saying to cancel the order. They refused and only when I received their confirmation, did I see the explanation that they were a third party service. They will not return calls or emails - I desperately need a copy of the application I filed to be sure of my filing status at the ****

    In the process of starting a new LLC and creating an EIN for it I performed a ****** search on "How to create and EIN" and the site "www.irs-ein-tax-id.com" was one of the first that came up on the search. This was a ****** sponsor site, which should have been a red flag, and I will no longer trust. The www.irs-ein-tax-id.com looked like a legit IRS site where I entered my information to receive an EIN only to get to the end of the process to find a charge of $399.99. This is a free service provided by the **** The transaction was canceled, and I requested that www.irs-ein-tax-id.com remove all of my information but have not yet received confirmation that this has been done.This site is a SCAM and the very least and if not actual fraud.

    On 1/27 I went to get an EIN number for a business I was starting up. I clicked on the first site and it looked legit. I filled out the information completed the transaction. When it didn't give me an automatic EIN number I knew something was up. Went to check my email, nothing. Checked my junk email and there is was, that is when I knew it was a scam. The email stated they have charged my card for $319 when the Gov doesn't charge for EINs. This is a scam!

    This company's pop-up came up while I was on the *** website searching for applying for an EIN. It looked totally legit and I paid the money and have not heard a word since. I have reached out numerous times and they have not responded and their customer service phone mailbox is full. A total scam that I can not believe I fell for, but it look so legit. A few days after I filled everything out with them, I got this which solidified my thoughts that this was a legit company.

    I applied for a Federal EIN on December 20, 2023. I was led to believe I used the official website and was charged $299. I have now come to find out that the website is based in *******, and although I got the **** I should not be charged for this. Additionally, I believe my social security number is now compromised.

    I applied for an LLC via the **** After my LLC was confirmed, I received an email from Tax-EIN-Number.com indicating I needed to pay $199.00 to obtain my EIN from the **** I supplied my credit card number, Social Security Number, and other identifying information, thinking this was legit. Afterwards, I did some research and learned that this is a fraudulent company out of ******* and not affiliated with the **** I have reported this to my credit card company. This company is fake and taking advantage of people, and stealing their information and money!

    This company: "**********************************" is acting like the *** to create an EIN number. There was never an EIN number received after payment of $250.

    Deceptive website. Appears to be a generic USGOv website. Doesn't mention fee until last page. Charges 339 dollars for an EIN. The ** Government doesn't charge a ***** to generate an EIN. This is fraud taking advantage of people unfamiliar with "EINs".

    This site pretends to be an official irs website. It charged $399.00 to to process EIN number request. They now have all my information and that frightens me.This is a free government service but the site popped up first in my ****** search.
