  • Customer Complaint:

    The BBB has received numerous complaints from consumers that allege paying a large fee to this firm for EIN numbers and the company claiming to be with the IRS.  Online searches for this company website show that the website is based in Iceland and not in the United States.  BBB strongly encourages consumers to visit the irs.gov website directly for any assistance in obtaining a EIN number.  Consumers report their bank accounts being charged hundreds of dollars repeatedly for fees and providing SSN, passport information and other forms of ID that have then been compromised.  To date, we have not received any responses to the complaints on file.

    I received a text from ****************************** to apply for EIN for my new business and I put in my personal info and paid $200 for the tax #. I realized after that it was a scam when I didn't receive an email confirmation or anything.

    Transaction occurred on 4/7/25. I contacted customer support almost immediately as I realized that this was a third party posing as the *** and not the actual IRS. They did not pick up the phone and the mailbox for voicemail was full

    On or about August 26, 2024, I applied for an employee identification number for my LLC. I was under the impression that I was using a link (EIN Federal Tax ID) that was using part of *******. I was unaware that there should not have been a fee associated with the application. I paid $319.00 for a service that is free through the ******* website. The link to EIN Federal Tax ID is placed deceptively and would lead a consumer to believe it is actually associated with the ***. I want a refund of my money for deceptive and misleading practices by this company.

    I thought I was apply for an EIN tax id on a official government website. It turned out they are not official and applying for a EIN is free. There website looked like the *** website and was very descriptive. I did not know this and would like my money refunded to my bank account.

    This business took my personal information for a service that is provided free by the ***. They charged me $199.00 and then a separate $150.00 dollar fee on top. Do not trust this website. I would like my personal information removed and a refund provided

    On 2/13/25, I needed to create an EIN for my Father as the executor of his mother's estate. I was tricked by the company's name and website colors, thinking it was the ***. I entered my father and grandmother's sensitive information into a form. Then, on the next page, it asked to pay for an expedited EIN. That is when I knew there was a problem because an EIN should be at no cost. Thankfully, I did not enter my payment info like others complaining about this business, but they now have sensitive information on my father and deceased grandmother. This is a disgusting operation, and it is shameful for ****** to allow them to run ads at the top of the listings.

    This business uses a website blatantly styled to mimic the *** official site, and scams unwary users out of both money and sensitive personal information used to apply for a Federal Tax ID. The company deceives users by impersonating a government website, scams them for money to for a free service, and at the end of it all issues a useless ID number that they tell you isn't valid for weeks - if ever I would guess.

    The website *************************************************** is very misleading. i entered my info and paid $319. They also asked for ss#, etc. I thought it was strange it cost so much, so asked my sister and said it should cost anything. My credit card amex also send me scam warning, so i knew it was probably not the real IRS site, but i had entered different card so it went through. I went back to the site and found it very difficult to determine that it was NOT irs site.i'm not so concerned about the charge, but that some unknown company got my ss#, ****** also does not indicate what the company was that was charging me, so that's c*** i am typically very suspicious of these things.

    On January 27, 2025 I paid ********************** $319.00 to submit application packet for an EIN. They promised 24 hour response to requests for support, but I have not gotten any replies from them despite repeated attempts. I will be disputing this charge with my bank.
