    The BBB has received numerous complaints from consumers that allege paying a large fee to this firm for EIN numbers and the company claiming to be with the IRS.  Online searches for this company website show that the website is based in Iceland and not in the United States.  BBB strongly encourages consumers to visit the irs.gov website directly for any assistance in obtaining a EIN number.  Consumers report their bank accounts being charged hundreds of dollars repeatedly for fees and providing SSN, passport information and other forms of ID that have then been compromised.  To date, we have not received any responses to the complaints on file.

    On 12/15/2023, I was applying for an EIN and accidentally used *********************************** instead of the *** site. I only realized my mistake when the site asked for payment of $289.00, as I know that payment is not required for an EIN. Like others who have submitted complaints, I would like to have my personal information removed, as I am uncomfortable with this entity having my personal information. At least, this company is fleecing people for money, and at worst, they are harvesting personal information for nefarious uses. I have also reported to the *** and IC3.

    They scammed me out of $289 they said they created an EIN LLC and didnt I emailed them for return they said they would give me a refund and never did now I cant get a hold of them and they dont respond to me. I want my refund.

    December 5th, 2023 I was trying to go to the *** website to apply for my *** number. After trying multiple times I was only being set to **-tax ID and thought it was the *** sight. I applied for the *** number and was charged $249 on my credit card. It didn't go through so I tried with a different card and it wouldn't go through. Checking my bank account I discovered both credit cards had been charged. If I had been able to get to the official *** sight to apply for the *** number I would not have been charged anything. I would like $249 on both cards refunded and this entity to stop posing as the official *** and not able to redirect *** traffic to them.

    Order Number: DE1CA6C4 Amount Paid: $299.00. The charge will show up as EIN Federal Tax ID on your statement.Charge on 11/11/2023. This website took personal information and posed as the *** website to file an EIN. I contacted them on 11/13/23 via email and phone number with no response. The voice mailbox is full and wouldnt allow me to leave any message.

    March 2023 I was told this was money towards starting business and it was fraudulent. Money never refunded. Took extra 6+ mo starting business and I am behind on all of my bills because of this one fraudulent entity.

    This company looks like a legit irs website and then charges you for filing that is free on the real website. It is impersonating a government website and scamming people.

    Same complaint as everyone else. This site is posing as the **** It collected SSN and other personal information. It also attempted to charge a fee to receive an EIN, but I stopped at this point.

    This is a fraudulent website stating you can get an EIN IRS number. This was accessed by my teenager who was trying to apply or a non profit organization.

    Went to file for an EIN number and this was the website that came up. Didn't realize until after that EIN filing is free with the *** and this company was posing as the *** with it listed on the top of their website. They took my SS info and $277. I put in a dispute to my CC company and attempted to reach the company but there is no contact information listed on the website. I see there are multiple other complaints on this website as well about the same website/company. ************************************
