The BBB has received numerous complaints from consumers that allege paying a large fee to this firm for EIN numbers and the company claiming to be with the IRS. Online searches for this company website show that the website is based in Iceland and not in the United States. BBB strongly encourages consumers to visit the irs.gov website directly for any assistance in obtaining a EIN number. Consumers report their bank accounts being charged hundreds of dollars repeatedly for fees and providing SSN, passport information and other forms of ID that have then been compromised. To date, we have not received any responses to the complaints on file.

I thought their site was the ***.gov site.. When I found out it wasn't because the *** ives out the *** for free, I tried to contact them by email but it would not go through after several attempts. I next tried their to free number, which hhung up on me when it came to leaving a voice mail.. This was tried several times.Initial Complaint

Applied thinking it was the *** website but noticed after paying that it was not. I quickly ask for refund. they said would forward my request but never did not please note on snapshots on file. I was never talked to about refund policy or nothing. I looked on forums about these scammers. They make their page look official but it is far from it.Customer Answer

The website is a scam. I never received any email confirmation and did provide my SSN. I am very concerned that they now have my personal information and was charged for a service I did not receive. I later found the real IRS.GOV site and completed the *** application.Initial Complaint

The company, ************************* misrepresents themselves as the *** by not telling you they are not the *** anywhere in their service for applying for and *** **** They also have irs in there http address so you believe they are the irs. The three hundred plus dollars charge they do is for the same service you can obtain for free at the *** website but again they don't express that anywhere in the application process for the **** This is fraud and they should offer a refund and allow You to cancel their bogus service.Initial Complaint

On 1/7/24 I applied for an *** for my mother, who passed on 1/2/24 and I paid $299 for this service. they stated they work directly with IRS on my behalf but IRS takes up to 45 days and they would be in touch. I contacted them via email on 2/15/24 to see where my transaction stood and when I would receive it but they never responded.I again reached out via email to them because I found out this was actually a free service from IRS and I was able **** onto IRS, fill out application and receive the *** immediately. I notified my bank that I wanted to dispute this charge due to not receiving the goods I was promised in the time I was promised as well as not being responded to when Ive reached out to this company.my file number for the *** order is 3e4f913d. Last evening, March 13, 2024, they finally issued me a refund to my checking account for the requested amount of $299 which is the amount they fraudulently took out of my account.

I started filling out the form to obtain an EIN for my LLC and after entering my SSN I stopped to check that it was a .gov website. As soon as I realized it was not .gov I contacted the sites support and demanded they remove my information. This is a scam. By law, they are obligated to clearly state they are soliciting up front. They did not and now I am concerned that the company has my name and SSN. They have an F BBB rating and are clearly fraudulent. I want formal confirmation sent to my email that my information has been completely removed and has not and will not be used for any purpose whatsoever.Initial Complaint
