    The BBB has received numerous complaints from consumers that allege paying a large fee to this firm for EIN numbers and the company claiming to be with the IRS.  Online searches for this company website show that the website is based in Iceland and not in the United States.  BBB strongly encourages consumers to visit the irs.gov website directly for any assistance in obtaining a EIN number.  Consumers report their bank accounts being charged hundreds of dollars repeatedly for fees and providing SSN, passport information and other forms of ID that have then been compromised.  To date, we have not received any responses to the complaints on file.

    On April 9th 2024, I finally decided to start my own business. I got to the point of the official government state website and needed an EIN. So I followed a link to this company. After filing the process for $581 I had nothing six days later so I checked in to find out that the fees I paid went to a company that didn't end with .gov for their charge. Unfortunately for me they had already charged me. This company is a front for a business program that will help you do something the government on the official IRS page offers for FREE and can be done in less than ten minutes. This company is a scam.DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH THEM.

    Applied for an EIN at IRS-ein-tax-id.com on behalf of my 88 year old mother for her revocable trust account. She was charged $339 for this number. I then realized that this is a free service through the **** The site came across as and IRS site and I feel very duped. I am please asking for a refund for my mother for this outrageous amount.Thank you, ***************************

    This site is completely fraudulent. They say they will help you receive an EIN number and they just take your social security information and your credit card information, which is what they did to me and many others

    By all appearances, the website looked like the ***** I paid $299 for a same day EIN employee identification number. After accepting my payment, the informed me that it could take 45 days.It seems as though I fell for a scam. Not sure if I will even get an EIN through them.

    Their fake website looks very much like the *** It wasnt till i got through the entire process and never received the number that i realized it was fraudulent

    I thought their site was the ***.gov site.. When I found out it wasn't because the *** ives out the *** for free, I tried to contact them by email but it would not go through after several attempts. I next tried their to free number, which hhung up on me when it came to leaving a voice mail.. This was tried several times.

    I was charged for a service that is otherwise offered free through the *** AND the *** number they sent me is fraudulent. It is not recognized by the ***.

    Applied thinking it was the *** website but noticed after paying that it was not. I quickly ask for refund. they said would forward my request but never did not please note on snapshots on file. I was never talked to about refund policy or nothing. I looked on forums about these scammers. They make their page look official but it is far from it.

    The website is a scam. I never received any email confirmation and did provide my SSN. I am very concerned that they now have my personal information and was charged for a service I did not receive. I later found the real IRS.GOV site and completed the *** application.

    The company, ************************* misrepresents themselves as the *** by not telling you they are not the *** anywhere in their service for applying for and *** **** They also have irs in there http address so you believe they are the irs. The three hundred plus dollars charge they do is for the same service you can obtain for free at the *** website but again they don't express that anywhere in the application process for the **** This is fraud and they should offer a refund and allow You to cancel their bogus service.
