      We had a representative stop by our house last year and offered a one time service with the left over chemicals they had on their truck. All we had to do for this one time discount service was swipe our card and sign the Ipad. Little did we know it was a service contract. We tried multiple times to get it cancelled and was getting the run around. They were very deceptive and unethical in their practices to get people to sign up for their services. Today I was finally able to reach someone, who kept me on the phone for 30 minutes offering a discounted rate for the remaining term in our "contract". Finally was able to cancel the fake deceptive contract for $151.00. Beware they are a scam and will use unethical practices and deception to trap you into their services.

      Buyer beware! Never have I paid so much for so little! Shame on me for succumbing to the high pressure door to door sales pitch. In a weak moment, I decided to give the service a try having seen some box elder bugs seasonally on occasion. I tried the service for 3-4 months before ending the contract in disgust. (Having to sign a contract for that type of service should have been my first red flag) Meanwhile, a tech showed up again to treat our home. My pregnant wife wasn't feeling well & she knew that I was trying to cancel the service so she didn't open the door for the guy. Instead of leaving & trying to reschedule, he spent 2-3 minutes spreading dust on the front of the house in the rain & left. We got invoiced for the full service which should have been inside the house, front & back yards! The local office is nondescript, barely marked & locked from the public. When I visited, one of the office workers opened the door & seemed sympathetic to my plight. She took my info & said she would try to waive the cancellation fee & get back in touch. She didn't. I returned a few days later & asked again. A couple of days later I got a text saying that it would cost me $200 to cancel the contract. By that time I had also received an invoice for $82.50 for the "discounted" service call that I neither wanted nor did the tech properly complete. I couldn't get through to the local office via phone in order to contest the invoice so I was forced to navigate the ********** call center once again. It cost me $82.50 for the last tech to show up & $150.00 to cancel the contract. Perhaps Ecoshield is a pest control service, I'm not so sure. However make no mistake, they are absolutely in the business of coercing people into signing predatory, over priced contracts & enforcing them. I would encourage anyone that needs pest control to do their homework & get competitive bids before signing any agreement or contract.

      I am having the same issues as other one star reviews. Their service did not get rid of wasp nests after three services in two months. I tried to cancel, but their scam is first to put you on hold, then you wait and wait, and then the original admin come back on the phone and says she needs to forward to the solutions team. No one will call back from their solutions team. I had same experience trying to cancel several times. I get the scam, they will not cancel the agreement.Do not engage this business.

      This company is using scam tactics to get business. Told me they were in my neighborhood and had extra bug spray and would give me a good price. I paid them $169 to spray and knock down some hornets nests. I told them I did not want their services as I already have a local pest control company I am working with. I did not realize that a text they sent was a contract for more than ********* services. Unfortunately I did not read the text carefully and responded yes. I am a senior citizen and feel like a target for these fraudulent business practices.

      I tried to cancel my service after fulfilling my contract. They said I had one more service to go so I let them come out. Then they proceeded to charge me $165 for said service even though they said it was part of my prepaid contract. When I tried to talk to them about it I was sent to a service resolution department that I think was in *****. At least every time I talked to them for 4 days I spoke with an East Indian sounding person who was hard to understand. I will never use them again and will recommend all my friends steer clear. I would give them zero stars if I could

      Terrible, it's all about the money and not the service. They provided lousy service, so I canceled. Now they are billing me for cancelling. What a joke. Zero professionalism, terrible service. They just want your money. Beware.

      If you like the idea of shelling out $185 a month for services, please feel free to give EchoShield a call. Obviously I didn't pay close enough attention to the street sales dude during his pitch, but my bank account sure did. I was all over this after the second month of billing. Cancellation fee is $250, so be sure about EchoShield people before you sign up.

      I chose to terminate my account with ******************** for two reasons: The main reason is the constant harassment to pay my bill even though I have given the techs a check each time they came to my home, once time before the service was even started. Rather than checking with their techs, they begin sending e-mails and mail through the **** requesting payment almost immediately and on a daily basis. Repeated attempts to notify them to check with their tech for the check have proven fruitless. I have even received notifications after my check has cleared the credit union. I finally tired of being accused of being in arrears and asked to terminate my account. I have not received a reply as yet to my e-mail requesting termination, nor has anyone reached out to me to try to correct the problem.The second reason for terminating the service is that I believe I am being overcharged for the service rendered. Only the last two times a tech has come to perform the service has the tech spent more than 5 minutes at my home. As a result, I have continued to have problems with pests they supposedly took care of.

      Someone came by two weeks ago with an "introductory offer" for pest control. We have been meaning to look into a way to get rid of our mosquitoes so we heard the salesman out. Seemed like this was what we wanted. He mentioned mosquitoes, spiders, ticks, larvae, wasps, etc. They said it would start working in about 5 days and if we see any come back, call and they will come out right away. A lady went and got the cobwebs off of the outside of our house, sprayed something in the corners of the outside, and put glue spider traps in our garages. Well, I was outside and got eaten alive by mosquitoes. We realized then that when they were here before, they never once went out into the yard to do anything. We looked on the website and found out that mosquitoes were a whole different package. We called to cancel. They said since we are cancelling early we need to pay the full.price and not the "introductory price".....for services not given!! Unbelievable. If we did not cancel today they would be back again on Thursday to squirt the corners again for an additional $180 to be automatically charged to our credit card. Wow.So, ****** learned. We paid the additional $150 for them to cancel.By the way, we waited on a phone tree for over 30 minutes to what we thought was a local number only to get someone who barely spoke English trying to upsell us or pay to cancel.
