SkyFine USA. My complaint regarding this company is that they are fraudulent. They charged me fees for faulty equipment on their end. I have had zero violations and they are trying to say I missed a retest on their breathalyzer 3 different times. Also they are rude and they are dishonest and taking money and saying it’s justified when it’s not. I am very upset and it’s not fair and it seems no one holds them accountable? Please help with this situation. They are messing with people’s lives and livelihood by being deceitful and dishonest.Business Response

i got my interlock device in january of last year. this company has been nothing but rude, and unprofessional. i get hung up on every time i call, sometimes they just simply won’t answer my calls, and when i ask for a manager they tell me no, they’re not giving me to the manager. i wrote an email requesting for an itemized receipt due to the invoice that was sent to me for my interlock removal. my contract states the removal fee can vary between $129-$759 and they quoted me $589 for the removal fee. in total, after a final compliance reporting fee($35) and a processing fee($21.84) my total is $645.84. although it is within range of my contract, i simply wanted an itemized receipt for the removal fee and where they come up with that number. the supervisor(i believe her name is ashley, she wouldn’t repeat her name for me and hung up as i was asking) called me for the first time ever after i’ve tried to get in contact with her many times with no luck and told me she wouldn’t provide me an itemized receipt because the invoice is one already but it doesn’t itemize anything, it just states the removal fee. i just find it strange that the one time i contact them through email to get my answers in writing is the one time they’re able to get a manager to actually reach back out to me but through a call. i want an itemized receipt of the removal fee in writing. my car is a 2009. i don’t see why i’m getting charged on the higher end if my car isn’t newer, and i don’t understand why the company is unwilling to provide me with the information requested unless they’re over charging me.Business Response

This company try to take my money from my bank with out my consent with charges that’s I was never told about . And they stated that my car will be towed away if I don’t pay the fees and also my car will keep locking by itself for them to charge penalties .Business Response

Skyfineusa uses deceptive practices with no explanation of fees and hidden fees in the contract. They make up fake violations to illigally charge the customer and when ask to give a report of violation they refused and after a while stated the report was $75. They charged $1000s over the period of 4 months for make up violations. This company is fraudulent and I don’t understand how a company like this can still be in business. Take advantage of people when they are already down, abusing, and basically stealing money from customers and the government is letting this going on. They should be looking into this company and shutting it down.Business Response

This company charged 175 for a product that does not work. It has now drained two batteries and then will not take responsibility for it. They charged $75 to do a remote check on the product and then charged a second time without permission. They don’t help at all or care when you call. There is no one available to resolve the problem if the product doesn’t work resulting in not being able to drive.Business Response

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had the displeasure of working with this company after being ordered to have an interlock device in my vehicle. They have been awful to work with, treating me like a child or an idiot, charging dollar amounts that have no validation AS WELL AS no approval to be taken from my account, and refused to give me documentation after asking on multiple occasions. My regularly scheduled payment was always charged 3times as much as it should have been, and take weeks to refund to my account. They also refused to ever let le speak with a supervisor or upper management to try to voice my complaints. My contract was never made accessible to me until my probation officer got involved and we were working to get the device removed. Their device affected the function of my vehicle, and made it impossible for me to get regular maintenance. They made up false charges and violations that locked out my vehicle and it wouldn't run, until I paid their made up invoices, all to steal my money. My probation officer is working with the county to deal with this company as they have screwed over multiple different clients, equalling thousands of dollars in lost money to their scamming. I dont know how a company like this is still in business and how they haven't been thrown in jail for their misconduct and theft. They always had some excuse as to why I couldn't speak with someone, refused to listen to reason, and didn't have a shred of morality while screwing up people's lives and vehicles. I've been caused serious emotional and mental damage due to them, not to mention the financial struggle. I'm very thankful there was never a medical emergency with my children on one of the many occasions they decided to lock my car out and make it undriveable.Business Response

I have a car with interlock installed. The car won't start and they want me to install a $150 remote download to unlock. The car has be inoperable Since 10/25/2023. I requested a removal of interlock appointment on Saturday and still no response. I'm removing it because car is being sold because of this.Business Response

Spoke with vendor regarding amount due and was told it was $88 when they arrived to remove the device they started it was $846 and refused to assist me unless I paid the amount that I was unaware of and did not agree too.Customer Answer

Hello,
I want to add additional information to my complaint. I was charged $1656 and it was removed without authorization from my bank account. I attempted to call and speak to the company regarding this and was told my account was closed and there was no information they could give me. My request to speak to a supervisor was refused. I was told no supervisors were on site and to send an e-mail, which I had already done 3 times prior to discuss the intial cost questions I had. I was told I just had to be patient and wait that it could be a month before someone contacts me. Although the money was withdrew immediately from my account, I must wait a month for it to be addressed and the email with the invoice that I received after they removed the money from my account states to call with any questions, which is what I did and I am as refused assistance. I spoke to someone named Tom who refused to give me a last name. I made two calls today first being at 8:09am and second at 8:22am.
Please help me with this.

My car wouldn’t start when going to take my daughter to school on October 11 of 2023. I tried jumpstarting it. I had the battery tested alternator and starter. Replace the starter and my car still won’t start Skyfine whenever I call just states that if I have a greenlight on the device, the device is working fine. I’ve called three different times now and they refused to come and take a look at my car and claim that it’s not the device when I had my car looked at they finally came to the conclusion that I’m not getting power to my starter which could be from faulty wiring from the interlock device. However again, Skyfine refuses to come look. I have been carless since October 11 and I have appointments and School to get my daughter to that I cannot do I have had to cancel multiple doctors appointments for myself as well.Business Response

Everything was great with this company while I needed it. When the time came to get my device removed, they charged me a removal fee, which is standard I believe. However, upon the technician removing my device, my car wouldn't start. Somehow, he fried the battery by removing the device and I had to replace the battery right then and there to get my car to start. While unfortunate, it needed to be done. Spent an extra $400 for something that seems could've been prevented. Then, as I'm driving home, I get a charge declined by my bank for over $1600. I start freaking out as I have no idea what it's for. my bank tells me it's SkyFine trying to charge my card this amount. I call Skyfine and they tell me the device was damaged upon removal and that I'm responsible. I told them that's not possible as the technician said everything was fine. I asked for proof that the device was damaged, and they refused to provide any. I asked to speak with a supervisor because trying to charge me $1600 without telling me seems sketchy. They told me one will reach out to me and I've never heard anything since then. This was back in February of this year. I'm bringing this up now because over the last 3 weeks, Skyfine has tried to charge the $1600 from my card 7 times now. Each time is declined thankfully, I might just have to replace my card to fix this issue since calling them doesn't work as they refuse to be of any help.Business Response
