      I purchased a security system from Vivint and I'm very unhappy. I cancelled the service which was cancelled 2 weeks after I ***led them. My service was within the 90 day cancellation time period I was given. Vivint made an appointment for 7/28/25 to have the equipment removed from my home so I could get a refund of $4000 and no one showed up for the appointment, I waited a week and no one ***led or attempted to reschedule the appointment. I ***led today (Aug 4th) and rescheduled for this Wednesday (8/6/25) between 12 and 4pm. I pray they show up this time. The *** told me that management was notified since I rescheduled, but I don't have any faith in that response. I don't understand why I had to *** them when they are the ones who cancelled. I've had nothing but problem since this purchase and nothing but excuses... I want the equipment removed and a refund. Let's see what happens at the upcoming appointment. I have a feeling they will be a no show again. I will update this after 4pm 8/6/25.

      I am a renter, not the property owner. At no point during the sales process did your representative (***** ********, Rep *** ******* inform me that I needed the property owners permission to proceed with installation. I was also not clearly informed that I could be held liable for property damage or lease violations resulting from the installation of Vivint equipment.This failure to disclose critical information has now resulted in a financial dispute with my landlord regarding alleged damages. Only upon reviewing the contract after the fact did I notice the following buried clause:If youre a renter, you must give us the owners contact information or proof of the owners permission if we request it. (Section 2.d, Page 5)This vague conditional phrasing did not serve as adequate or clear notice, especially during an in-home sales presentation. Had I been informed upfront that the system would require the landlords consentor that it could result in lease violationsI would never have proceeded.

      Unfair and misleading practices. I don't appreciate being lied to and misled. They won't allow me to cancel this contract nor did they ever show me the cancelation policy nor the contract. That's not my signature nor my authorization and they charge extremely high amounts to cancel. I never co seated ro running g my credits and they never even emailed me a copy of anything.

      Very very misleading on cost tell you one price then your bill is higher and a 5yr lock in contract with no chance of canceling alot of FALSE ADVERTISING I'm very dissatisfied I need help getting out this contract

      I have had my system for less than 3 months and it has COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING CONSISTANTLY EVERY MONTH. Now I'm tired. i am paying for a service that does not work AT ALL. I've reset, take the battery out......blah blah blah..... they sent out a technician and yes, it worked again for about 2 weeks. Now nothing!!! Tired of paying these companies for not performing under a contract that THEY provide.

      This company does a mass sweep through neighborhoods and does a Tortious interference to get people to change from the company they were with. My family and I regret getting into a 5 year contract with them.

      I would leave 0 stars if i could. Do not use this company. They came and installed cameras same day after we agreed to the sales pitch, but they did not tell us when we were discussing install they would be just drilling through our walls wherever they thought best in our brand new house. Our door lock is also installed incorrectly and rarely locks. When it does lock it doessnt connect that its locked on the app and so we have to try to lock and hope it registers to actually unlock the door. Once installed our cameras are always offline, take about 20 to 30 minutes to reboot and troubleshoot and then go back offline. We can't cancel without paying them half of the contract or providing proof of equipment pay off and they're fix is to send a tech free of charge, but then turn around and charge you regardless. Good luck finding out what you're being charged for because there's no access to invoice information on billing, just the total amounts. **************** is rude when having to deal with individuals, one telling us it is what it is and he would pay for equipment that didn't work if he signed a contract...worst experience I've dealt with and still going through the nightmare of trying to cancel them or even get the cameras to even work.

      0 out of 10 would not recommend Vivint. They bring in out of town salesman who over promise and under deliver. We were not super thrilled with ADT at the time so we thought we would at least try it ... terrible idea. For starters they wanted to come out and install that same day (dinner time) but when it was time to come get their equipment they were no where to be found. The system didn't pair well with our phones and a tech was sent out to try and help. He said "maybe you need to change to IPHONE, we never have problems with Iphones." The work around was to set the system on deter mode 24/7, to which then we received notifications 4 times EVERY MINUTE. And we could not make it stop. We called to cancel the trial and my husband spent an hour on the phone trying to get them to understand that we just didn't want it. So they finally set up an appointment to uninstall, to which they just didnt show but they were quick to cut off our access to the app so we were left with 0 security system.... 2nd appointment to uninstall still no show! On the 3rd appointment they were "running late", even though we were told we were the 1st appointment of the day. The manager confessed that the out of state salesmen are terrible and once the tech did arrive he said this was his last week working for such a terrible company. And because all of that isn't enough they damaged our ADT equipment and we are still trying to get that sorted out. You're better off with literally any other company!

      I have been a subscriber to Vivint for over 11 years, purchased through Best Buy on *************, **. Though happy with the functionality, I cannot get a service technician after many horrible customer service experiences with long wait times, multuple transfers from department to department, many unfulfilled promises of call backs with a resolution. I am seeking an upgrade to their panel, a camera replacement, and additional cameras to be installed and even though that would generate revenue for Vivint, they fail to provide a technician. Since their system is proprietary. I can't add cameras myself that work with their app. This is a horribly ran company with a good product that they can't support, leaving me trapped with an outdated panel and no ability to add features. I have been told that they will call me when they can provide a technician in my area ( *****). I have been promised this many times and they never call. It's been over a year and watch time I call its at least 45 minutes on the phone. I did have a technician scheduled one time over a year ago, that we waited for, and planned our day around only for him to not show up. Dealing with this company is like entering into the Twilight Zone.

      Salesman don't know how to read a "no solicitors" sign on the door and proceeded to knock on our door until we opened. We showed the group of gentleman the sign and told them to go away.
