      Equipment cheap & faulty. Replacement equipment overpriced. In order to cancel services, you must call. But the call will not cancel services. An email is sent, respond to email with cancelation request. This takes 30 days, during this time they continue to bill your account. (A way to get one more payment from you). Do not use this Company, they are very deceitful, very over priced with sub standard equipment and monitoring software.

      DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! billing is incorrect and you will NOT be able to fine someone who could help. Statements are not understandable even to the representative.

      I have used this company for many years, after 2020 it has become a blood thirsty equity focused business. I recently moved my business and cancelled our service, when doing so we had our equipment removed. I called 2 months later as we were still getting billed (not much but still billed). I was hung up on 3 times without a callback and given the run around about cancelling and asked repetitively to transfer our service. I was eventually told our service was not cancelled because we requested to have our equipment moved. The customer service **** claimed that "removed" and "moved" are the same adjective that assume we are moving our system to a new location, so our cancellation was incomplete. He went on the further try and upsell us equipment and financing at some asinine rates and terms. Eventually he stated that they would not retroactively cancel our contract from the time we initially requested as we were "convinced" to keep our services with them. The word "convinced" was used several times leading me to believe they will do whatever it takes to keep you in contract. 10/10 will never use again. I was a client since 2012 and they've lost my business for life for my company and home.

      Horrible service, over charge and lock you in a long contract and says you have to deal with it or pay a big early termination fee. Would stay far away

      Vivent Smart Home called and offered a free upgrade of our two camera. I declined several times, saying I was happy with what we had. We owned our equipment and just paid a monthly monitoring fee to ******. He would not accept no for an answer, insisting it was fully free and would improve our experience with ******. Why would we not agree? Nothing to lose. WE finally agreed and set up an installation date. We never signed any paperwork of any kind. The installer asked us to sign his tablet where it simply described what equipment was installed. The next month they charged my credit card on file for $293 for the cameras. I complained vigorously, never agreeing to the $293 charge. I received numerous assurances that it would be fixed but no followup action.Then the next month they charged another $293. In the end I discovered they sold me a $1,200 upgrade that was supposed to be free and took our cameras with no compensation. So we ended up out our own cameras and a bill for $1200.I never reviewed the company since the system was in the house when we bought it and never had a problem until now.A review of the company on the internet revealed that many customers had suffered the same problem. There has been a successful class action suit for fraud, deception and misrepresentation and there have been FTC fines for similar fraudulent activity. They refuse to fix this problem and have threatened to turn off our service. Until this, we owned all of our equipment and never requested an upgrade. By the way...my wife and I are 76 years of age. I believe this falls under the classification of elder abuse.We have repeatedly asked them to return and install our cameras and take theirs back but they have refused. They get a one-star review simply because their overall service was good until ******* this point they won't even discuss it with me.

      Vivint has been the absolute WORST alarm company I have ever dealt with. I am constantly having to call them to fix issues with my cameras. Please do NOT ever use them!

      So first off I was told that it wasnt a contract, that was a lie. So I just continued the co tract because I didnt want to have to pay any other added fees. Once I paid for the equipment and the contract ended sep 2025, I paid the final payment 1 sep and ensured the account was cancelled, received a confirmation number and all. Then October gets here and there is a charge on my account. I called and now the process has to be done all over again and they are talking about refunding a partial payment. No I need all my money back. This is ridiculous and half the time I cant even understand the customer service ****

      I was disappointed in the installers assisting supervisor from day one, just unprofessional. The service pricing was inconsistent and fluctuated. The new equipment failed intermittently and had recalls including the smoke alarms. I then cancelled my service and was charged in the thousands for early termination. The worst company experience *** ever had.

      Im currently speaking g to a supervisor ***** badge ******.Ive been on the phone for 3 hours 35 minutes and 10 minutes now.She is non helpful.. transfer me to regular move agent , when I begged her not to transfer me again. I promised by last agent to stay on the line to make sure I was taken care of. My bank account has been over charged for 2 services that were not properly closed out by Vivint team for over a year.I have 5 different accounts with ********************** , Im now being told the money they over charged me in my auto pay for closed accounts can not be refunded Now Im answering the same questions 5 more times.who had the same questions and same problems with my account. 5 agents and 2 supervisors , Im still on the phone with no resolution.

      I am taking this company to court , I was giving an estimate and emailed how much my 3 cameras would cost. When i received my bill it says ******** not the price that it says on my paperwork this company is committing fraud.then my bill is $160.00 I didnt sign up for this . This not what my paperwork says do not do buy with this company
