      I started with alder security in May of last year and I have not been satisfied with them.2 weeks after it was installed,them smoke alarm went off by its self.we just falling into a deep sleep and get wakened up by the fire alarm.FOR NO REASON AT ALL.I asked them to send somebody check it but they said them don't work on them and don't send anybody out. They said it could be battery going out or was not installed right.I said 2 weeks after the man installed it batteries are gone can't be.Also if it was not installed right,that was yall man not us. Everything it goes off,my dog goes crazy shaking and scratches me to death to hold her,she even hyperventilate. I never set the alarm if she is home not to kill her.I set it this pass weekend we were out of town.Got a message back door was opened but never got a notification the alarm went off cause it wasn't working apparently,it should have gone off but didnt.I looked on my camera inside and door was closed.When I get in town I turn it off on my phone.Well it showed it was disarmed but,when we got here it was not disarmed.The remotes I have don't work either so,I am paying for trash that doesnt work.Well I want out of this contract now.I am on a fixed income and I am not paying for something that doesn't work.In fact we were taking a nap and it went off again today.All they do is lie to get you in. They don't deserve a star at all.Next I will contact my attorney.

      I took Alder for the five year contract . They called to offer a lower cost ,for extended period. I said no , they sent a man to check the system out , and said the price was going down , but never said anything about it extending the contract . Then I get a call wanting to know if I understand that the price would go down ,if I extended the contract . I said yes to I understand , but never agreed to extend . On top of that I have had three pieces of equipment go down and have to be replaced . They mail it to me to install. I said why, when I pay you over $600 per year . The glass breaking monitor is a joke I dropped two glasses under it and it never set it off . I was changing batteries in a carbon monoxide detector,and it set the alarm off , but not in my house ,just the fire department ,only to find out it was faulty equipment. They never called to cancel an alarm until the fire department arrived and was here for a couple minutes . I am going to a lawyer if they don't cancel this contract that they did sneaky, and take back their equipment . They like to try and blame things on the customer and tell you ,you lie . This is only a small amount of the problems with this company , I could write a book .*****************************

      Security system does not ever work properly. Nobody will service it. You have to troubleshoot everything yourself. And end the end it still doesn't work. We want out of the contract.

      They never send equipment or insulation. They been withdrawing money from my checking account since March 2018 until Fed 2023. They salesman said they was with *****. I been with Brink for over 25 years. When i call they was rude and asked for more money.

      **************** is very poor, just kept getting transferred to someone else for over an hour just to be told to call back Monday. Had nothing but problems with equipment sensor. Tried to cancel and was told I had signed a contract for 60 months which I do not recall or even have a copy of. All I want is out of my supposed contract which I have paid into for 4 years. Tired of the poor service and equipment. Trying to retire and move.

      Our security system has been failing for almost a year. They have told us over and over they would send someone out to install new sensors and update our system for the past six months and nothing. We agreed to another five years in addition to lowering our bill because my mother is elderly and has a fixed income. They have taken advantage of my elderly mother. Now we are stuck in this contract without any security coverage to our home. We've called numerous times asking for them to send out a technician and nothing. I am LIVID! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! If there is any way I could get my mother out of this bogus contract with these scammers, I would have done it yesterday. Giving these people one star is a joke. They don't even deserve half a star.

      Like other reviews I have read, if there was an option to leave no stars, I would! I got into Alder when I moved to a new place and needed 9 more door/window sensors from Cove and it was going to cost me $135 EVEN THOUGH there was a half-off sale going on so, I decided to get another system. In comes the nightmareAlder Security. Long story short, I had internet service and everything worked fine ( I bought 1 outdoor camera and 1 indoor camera and sensors). Then a few months later, the internet was transferred to me from the complex owner, and the cameras wouldnt connect. Turns out the internet has capability for 2.4G and 5G, but it automatically chooses which speed to use the device that is trying to connect. I have no way to manually change it back and forth between 2.4 and 5G. So I call Alder and tell them that their cameras wont work for me anymore and to cancel my contract. The first thing they asked-everytime I called to cancel- was I cancelling due to another security system. Wanting me to pay 90% of the contract I owe- ummm no sir I will not!! Neither of their cameras work on 5G- NOT MY FAULT, but Im still paying freaking $38/mo for this POS company!! They would rather have the money versus keeping you safe, for sure!! I have a lawyer involved and its still a beating! I even told them that I wanted to cancel because their equipment is inferior and does not work on the most popular internet speed possible! NOT MY CHOICE TO CANCEL- but my safety is important to me since this mess, Ive gotten wire fence panels, two chairs and a patio rug stolen from me! DO NOT HIRE THESE WEIRDOS!!!

      Horrible company they lie to you about services and the tech will cancel on you day of with no warning. I was charged for services that I did not have and was scammed out of money do to their cancelation policies. DO NOT use this company.

      They are horrible!! We are paying for a product that we do not have although they have promised to send us our security system multiple times! I cannot get a hold of a manager. We have gotten hung up on when we mention we haven't received our products. I am now disputing the charges every month, but it is very annoying that I have to do that.
