      On June 28, 2023 a salesman on a hoverboard approached me at my home regarding pest service. He quoted me $59.00 a QUARTER. The next day he came to my home with the service tech. After they started the service he mentioned to me in passing that I would be charged $59.00 a MONTH. I was very upset and told him that it was not what he said the day before and that I am a senior on a fixed income and cannot afford that. He got his Supervisor Darryl on the phone. We negotiated the price down to $30.00 a month. On July 28, 2023 I was charged $59.00 out of my bank account. I phoned the company on July 31, 2023 and spoke to a Customer service representative who informed me that no one can negotiate a price that low. I requested a supervisor call back. Two days later a “supervisor “ called me back and I explained everything again. He had no idea who Darryl was or how he could agree to such a low price. He said he would get back to me. He never did. At this point I am very upset and want to cancel this service WITHOUT paying an early termination fee. This is not the way to treat customers.

      I started my service with hawx in April and they have only came out once sense i had them and that time was when i initially started 4/29 and i even had planned for a tech to come inside my home and the guy never showed up he marked it as if he completed the service and how i know is because i received an text message saying he completed the service and did not and when i called to speak to someone no answer and it is August now and still no one has showed up or called me i been paying $65/month and have not received any type of pest control i have been MY OWN PEST CONTROL PROVIDER AND THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR A COMPANY THAT SAY THEY ARE THE LEADING PEST CONTROL COMPANY

      On 2 Aug 2023 a solicitor came to my house to sell me a pest control service for $50 a month. He told me I would be emailed a copy of my contract. I have yet to receive the contract, I was charged $55 and have not heard from the company to even schedule a service. I think this is by design to let the time frame for cancelation EXPIRE and this business is a Scam. PLEASE cancel my service and charge me no more! Tried to call held for 25min and they haven't called me back as promised.

      On August 2, 2023 we had ******* hoverboard to our front door trying to get us to start pest control. I asked for a card or a business phone number I could call & talk to my fianc. He could only provide me with a personal phone number ?? a few hours later we get a notification on our camera of them walking around our front porch looking into things (which they wouldn't admit what they were looking for). At 9:30pm ******* & a co worker show up at our front door AGAIN trying to sell us pest control. My fianc agreed & signed up to pay $50 a month for quarterly spray. We were told on August 4, 2023 we would receive our first spray around 4-8pm. My fianc found awful reviews & went to cancel his "subscription". Once he did that he saw we were never even scheduled for a spray on August 4, we had an assessment scheduled for August 5 that was NEVER talked about. Once he called to cancel it was an automated phone call so it kept hanging up on ******** wasn't able to get through to a person. He had to cancel his card to get it to cancel. It's sad to see these door knockers harassing home owners & priding themselves on a scam.

      Cancel my service immediately with No early termination Fee. My account #****** I have filed a claim for same issue on 7/14. They emailed back to meWe are sending this message to inform you that your account has been closed per your request. You will not receive any further services from us. on 7/20. But I have received the bill again today! I emailed back them to proof they have canceled my service on 7/20, then they send me We received notification that you would like to cancel your services with us. A Hawx Account Specialist will be reaching out to further assist you. If we are unable to contact you, we will cancel your account and charge any applicable early termination fees. this is ridiculous, my service should have been canceled on 7/20. And their account specialist never contact me, everybody knows, but they never pick up their phone. They never call back our phone call. I have called their customer service today, She told me my account is still active. She can not do anything about it even though she found their 7/20 confirmed cancel email. She transferred my phone call to their account specialist. NO body answer my phone!I will not pay any ***** this company! Theyre using false information to sell their services! Payment information not like they said quarterly payment, it is Monthly payment! Service is not good like they said! They only want money!Cancel my service with no early penalty fee!

      A technician knocked on my door in June 2023, and offered me the package providing all the pest control services, and I will only be charged $50.00 EVERY QUARTER. They're trying to charge me in July 2023 which I didn't agree to. I tried calling them with my number, but I was left waiting on the phone with their answering machine for an hour. I used another phone to call and surprisingly, I got connected to a customer service agent! What's with the current customer number not being able to reach? I asked the agent to cancel my service because I don't agree that they're not honoring their words, and she told me she couldn't do it. She said she could process my July payment if I wanted to. That's odd. She ended up putting me on hold again and after another hour of waiting, HAWX HUNG UP ON ME! I just want to cancel the service. Why is it so hard????

      We were told the service included mosquito treatment. They have not treated for mosquitos. We have tried multiple (10 or more) times to call the business number only to sit on hold then be disconnected. We want to cancel and be reimbursed from the the second month of service (3 months).

      I just want to cancel my agreement. They never answer their phone and am kept on hold for long periods of time. I've tried their call back option which states "We offer a call back option and will call back in the order received" but it's been hours?!?! Like many people here I was told that it was a quarterly payment but later saw i was charged monthly rather then quarterly. I didnt want to take the cancelation fee hit so I just kept it for the year. Im done with the year so I just want to cancel. Please call me ###-###-####

      I noticed several charges on my bank account where there was no service completed. I reached out to Hawx 3 times, two in which I waited over 30 minutes on the phone for a representative. After I got a hold of a representative, he reviewed my account then apologized for nobody coming out to service my home and that a refund would be issued. This was in June. I still have not been refunded. I was last serviced on 3/27/23. I was billed $85 on 3/1 for that service but was also charged 3/29 for April, 5/1 for May, and 5/30 for June all in which nobody came to the home in those months.

      I am rejecting this response because I was charged more than what the business is refunding me. The representative I spoke to had said $255 would be refunded, not $92. The last service issued was on 3/27 which I paid on 3/1.


      I continued to get charged, however no service was conducted in April, May or June for my payments made on 3/29 for April, 5/1 for May and 5/30 for June (as shown in screenshots) in which I paid a total amount of $255.

      I engaged Hawx beginning of June for general pest control and outdoor services. I was under the impression I paid monthly and received services monthly. Today I was informed the general pest control service would be received quarterly and the outdoor service only 7 times per year. Accordingly I called to cancel (spending 45 min on hold) and was told I would have to pay a $199 cancellation fee on each service. Given the misleading sales tactics used here I respectfully requested these fees to be waived; they refused. I am therefore filing this complaint to get this matter resolved with the fees being waived.
