      On June 2023, I fulfilled my 12 month contract obligation. On July 1, 2023, I began trying to contact Hawx to cancel my contract and no longer be obligated to the monthly fee. I have been on hold for more two hours daily without reaching a representative to assist me. I paid for July 2023 while continuing to try to reach Hawx. Im still being on hold for hours without any answering the phone. I dont want to continue paying money because the company refuses to answer the phone. The website and chat options only allow for payments and not cancellation. You must speak with a representative but how is that possible when no one answers the phone. I would like to have my contract cancelled and not be billed for August being that I have wanted to cancel since July 2023. I would like the cancellation in writing to prevent the company from having amnesia about the cancellation. The customer ********** is ridiculous.

      The sale rep knock on my door said they are doing a promotion just for $1 for the first service but they just left the trap in my basement but never come back. they said you can cancel it anything but will not mention this is a one year contract and you will be charge $280 for early termination fee. They guarantee to provide pest control service with a monthly subscription fee but Never answer phone calls. I have been trying to call them everyday in two week, they just hang up or transfer you to someone else and make you wait another 50 minutes and then hang up again, this is ridiculous. Leave a call back number, never call you back. Online chat never work. They just want to charge you money but no service. Their termite inspector said I got termite in my backyard and will charge my $3000 for the installation and $30 a month after that. Luckily, I called another termite inspector, they said they are no termite activity around my house.

      I’m requesting a refund for the full amount paid of $115.98 and to close my Hawx account with no penalty fees charged.

      On June 23rd, 2023, a Hawx sales rep named Hunter knocked on my door selling Hawx services. I told him I already have pest control services with Hometeam Pest Defense and I’m good with their services but sold me on Hawx when he stated, “I would be charged $59.99 quarterly for a 12-month agreement”. He also stated they would call to cancel my service with Hometeam on my behalf. When I was charged the following month from Hawx and Hometeam, I immediately called to complain and then they sent me a contract of a monthly charge of $59.99 and declined my refund. I was totally baffled, since I had asked the Sales rep Hunter several times, I would be charged one time every three months and he said “Yes”. I even asked him where it states the quarterly charge in the contract and Hunter directed me to my online portal which still wasn’t completely clear on how I would be charged but trusted what he was saying at that time. I’ve been waiting for a branch Manager to call me in 72 hours since July 24th, which they never called and I followed up again on July 31st and spoke to a branch manager named Mike who froze my account but wasn’t able to help with giving me a refund and stated that’s handled by the billing department which I’ve been waiting on a call back from them which has been over 8 days now.

      I have literally been on hold for two days trying to get in touch with someone about cancelling my account. To make matters worse, I was supposed to have someone spray in July. No one came out so I also want a refund for that quarter since I never received the service. It is ridiculous how difficult it is to get in touch with ANYONE at this company. I will never use their service again strictly because the customer service is non-existant.

      I subscribed to a pest control plan with a monthly fee for quarterly visits by Hawx Services. The company successfully carried out these services during my time with them. I canceled my service on Thursday, August 3rd. On Friday, August 4th, I noted a pending charge to my bank account of $45.49 for the month of August services. My agreed upon cost for this plan was $39 a month. They increase my cost by $16.49 without notifying me. I assumed this would be reversed as I had already canceled the day prior, however, it was not. I called customer service on August 7th, as they are closed over the weekend, to let them know that I was charged for the month even though I had canceled on the 3rd. The customer service rep. told me that they usually charge for the current month on the 3rd and that this was why the automated transaction went through. This statement is not true. They charge on random days in the first week of the month. In the month of June they charged me on the 6th, and in the month of July they charged me on the 5th.She noted that it was reflected on my account that I had already canceled the week prior. I asked her when they would reverse the charges or refund the money into my account. She then told me that it was not possible because they always charge on the 3rd and I did not cancel my service until after the automated charge went through at 12:00 a.m. on the day that I canceled. When I challenge her about the alleged set billing date, she offered a free service for the month to resolve the issue. I let her know that if I needed further service, I would have kept my services to begin with and that I would rather have a refund. She then stated again that the charges could not be reversed. I countered with the suggestion that they send me a credit equaling the amount of the charge to settle the matter which she again replied with, it was not possible. I directly told her that I would be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and ended the call.

      To Whom It May ********* am lodging a formal complaint against Hawx Pest Control for predatory practices. After subscribing a year ago, my attempt to cancel in May became a nightmare.Despite assurances in April that my setvice would stop in **** I continued receiving bills for nonexistent services untill I noticed in July. **************** was unhelpful, leaving me on hold for hours with calls repeatedly dropping.When I called again in July, I was told my service was canceled and I would need to speak to a manager about waiving the payments of the prior months. I was on hold for hours before my call dropped. A week later, I was charged for the month of July. When i called again, I was told I would not be able to cancel until my balance was paid. ****'s misleading tactics are deeply concerning. I demand an immediate penalty-free cancellation, in line with my May assurance.I am taking decisive action. I will report this matter to local, state, and federal consumer protection agencies. My aim is to prompt a thorough investigation into Hawx Pest Control's actions and ensure accountability for these unethical practices.Failure to address this issue would leave room for further consumer exploitation. I urge Hawx to rectify this situation promptly and restore my faith in ethical business conduct.

      I was solicited by hawx at my home about a month ago. I agreed to try them out. At the time I spoke with the guy who knocked on my door he used verbiage like no obligation, guarantee, etc I agreed to the terms we briefly spoke about and was not made aware of a cancelation fee. Shortly after our first treatment we saw lots of ants in the bedroom. I called them out, they came and serviced again. The ant problem gets worse and now Im getting bit in my sleep. Im no longer interested in their service so I call to cancel. I strongly believe they have an automated system set up to prevent you from reaching them. After calling several numbers and being on hold for 30 minutes I call another number and someone answers right away. I tell them why Im calling and she says shes going to transfer me. She transfers me back to the same que I was already in. After hanging up and repeatedly calling that number back a man calls and says hes returning my call. I tell him I want to cancel and why and he reminds me of the guarantee and pressures me to have them come back. Once *** stated over and over I want to cancel he becomes a bit condescending and says sure, thatll be $199. I told him I wasnt made aware of any fees for canceling and have no reason to believe a 3rd visit will help anything at this point. After a couple back and forth attempts to have the fee waived I simply hang up. I DID NOT AT ANY POINT tell this man to proceed with canceling my service, due to the fee. I immediately received an email receipt for $199 from hawx for early contract termination. Regardless of what was or was not mentioned to me or what I signed, I in no way indicated that I wanted the service canceled after learning about the fee. I would like my money back for processing the fee without my consent and to cancel my service, avoiding the fee due to misleading sales pitch and unprofessional treatment from personnel.

      Their salesman will come to your house uninvited and offer you service which is not what it actually is. I was offered a termite bait service I was told it was $480 and I could pay up front or monthly at $40 a month. So after 12 months my fee of $480 would be satisfied. But unknown to me was that they continue to charge me $40 a month after the 12 months in 480 dollars total payment. 3 months went by before I noticed I had a monthly charge by them of $43 and change which is higher than it was previously. I called to find out why and I was told that since I did not cancel that they will continue to charge me monthly which I wasn't told about or emailed about. The salesman told me total $480 that's it. They did not tell me I would continue to be charged. I tried to cancel and they said that they would cancel but they will not refund me back my money. 3 months of $43 for what service? They come out twice a year to check termite baits. When I contacted Hawks to rectify this they said I will not getting a refund.I would like the past 3 months of bull service charges refunded to me. And to never hear from Hawx again.

And once the year is completed the account will stay active until you call us to make any changes.       On 6/26/2023. I had a young kid come up from Hawks. Explained how, he was in the neighborhood. Offering a neighborhood special $49.99 for months. He said after 3 days if I still see bugs. I can call Hawx back at no charge. As many times as I need to. I asked him, is this a contract? He said no. I asked him, can I cancel at any time? He said yes. I asked him, is there any penalties? He said no. On the 6/27/2023. Hawks sent a man out to spray. A week later, I still saw bugs everywhere. I tried to call nobody would answer. I tried several times When I finally got through 2 weeks later, I told them. That I wanted to cancel. That I could not get nobody out to keep their promise and spray. He told me that that was okay. But there was a $199. Cancelation fee I told him that the kids said this was not a contract. There was no cancelation fees. Not only was there a $199 cancelation fee. They wanted to charge me every month, $49.99. There representative was a liar He lied to my wife and I. And now they're trying to scan me out of a $199. Hawks broke their promise. And because they cannot keep their promise. They're trying to charge me $199 cancelation. HAWX IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY I want this Account # ****** to be closed. I'm a disabled 62 year old man that can't afford to be scamed out of $199 they should be ashamed of what they are doing to the American people. Thank you for your time be safe

      Hawx has charged my credit card $239.94 in 2023 but has not been out to provide the quarterly pest control treatment this year. I heard they stopped doing their own service and another company was supposed to do it. They no longer answer the phone or call back. I want to stop the billing.

      I am rejecting this response because: Hawx treated my two neighbors exactly the same as me.  Hawx charged us all six monthly charges but did not do the quarterly service.  Then they offered to credit us for one month of charges.  I still have not received credit for one month of charges let alone the three months that go toward one quarterly service.
