      They're customer service is outsourced, you can never understand what they're saying. I had to call because the cameras were malfunctioning, if I zoomed in, they would get stuck and keep opening on that same spot stuck in zoom mode, had to rest the app numerous times, had error messages, not sending notifications that people were on the property trespassing while my Mom was dog sitting for us alone, a neighbor trespassed in our driveway at the time, getting a notification and go look to see what set it off, app malfunctioning, by the time I restarted it the umpteenth time, we could have been robbed and the person on their way down the street. Hence having to call customer service, then have to repeat yourself three+ times because they didn't understand the issue or kept repeating the obvious that was already addressed. Go with ADT. This place has outsourced and went to ****, nevermind the beyond persistent sales people they have that come around to flat out harrass you about solar panels. Your cameras ****. Why ** would anyone want your solar panels? Terrible cameras. As far as the alarm panel, our smoke alarm went off a few times recently, security alarm went off, no one followed up like they used to with a phone call. House could have burned down or we could have been murdered during a break in, no one would have known. Look elsewhere. Plenty of security companies out there.

      Had a Vivint system for nearly a year, and I'll bet it hasn't worked for a solid 24 hours for even one day. The mobile app is terrible! It's always about 30 seconds behind real time, and to try to replay event clips works only a fraction of the time. Cameras and lights fall randomly off the network repeatedly every day. Latest, a camera needs replacing, which I requested almost two months ago. I have contacted the company via email, chat, and telephone numerous times. NOTHING has been done. They've screwed up my email address and I can't even login to my online account, and the instructions I was given don't even exist on my hub! Worst investment I've ever made!

      I have been paying for years on equipment and service. I dont have the equipment and have not used service in years yet Viviant will not cancel. I have contacted them on several occasions for help canceling and they refuse to.

      What a nightmare added stress with a move and money being low and all you want is Peace of mind . You will not get that from Vivint. Agree to a trial of 30 days and monthly payment for 150 for 4 months . The sensors didnt work consistently and figured could get. A better price on cameras with DYI and blink. Was pushed into the contract with all connect after signing up for electric. When we decided 3 days after we want to cancel I was told cant cancel have to call Monday thru Friday . Call back and was offered 2 cams for the same price with the exact setup only 10 dollars more. .Then 4 days later a ****** charge comes up . Rent is due and we are scrounging at this point with a move thats costed thousands as is . Then I am scared to even try and cancel while trying to get a reversal on the charge that was unauthorized and . I tried to cancel yesterday and was told to call the number nothing they could do in chat . Its the next day and have spoken with 5 different **** and asked to speak with a supervisor over and over and over again. I get on chat and really am begging for help at this point . I keep getting put on hold cant trust who I am speaking with , they want me to pay off equipment , wont listen , saying they can add and upgrade and give lower prices and discounts . This is the worst customer service there is most def no customer loyalty . The issue cant be escalated because apparently they have no supervisors or leads at all. No wonder its horrible. If we had done our research , if only . Being offered in the same call as the electric company I figured would be a trustworthy deal. No reason things of this nature should bring one to tears in frustration and dissatisfaction and disappointment. Word of mouth can send a message.

      I filled out an enquiry online to see what they offered but specifically did not ask for call backs, etc. They did so anyway and did so 5 times in one morning after my asking them to stop. Put a call blocker on their number but that did not work either. They wanted to keep me on the phone with excuses but I hung up on them. They should be avoided even if they are as good as they claim. They have no respect for their clients or future clients. They are pushy and rude.

      It was good in the beginning but terrible when I needed to cancel. Signed a 5 year contract and cancelled after almost 7. The cameras stopped working towards the end and they wouldnt help me fix them without charging me(after trouble shooting with them wouldnt work). The cancellation was the worst though. Had an outdated email and couldnt remember the 4 digit passcode(both were my issues). So they said they could send the passcode via mail to the physical address. After 3-4 months and numerous calls I finally got it taken care of. Then they charged me for 2 extra months. Ive never dealt with a larger company that is this shady. All said my advice would be to read the fine print and if Vivint tries to sell you on their system, run away.

      DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!1st regarding equipment...I allowed them to set up a ******* account and I set up auto pay. 2 months later I paid $600.00 on the ******* account knowing the balance would be auto deducted as the previous 2 months had paid in this fashion. My balance was something like $18.76, Couple of months later I receive correspondence stating my account on file denied pmt. I have spent 4 months trying to get this balance resolved. I paid it twice just to get them off my back. I called them 12 times and they kept saying I had a past due balance although NONE OF MY STATEMENTS SAID I HAD A PAST DUE BALANCE! I could go on and on. The last straw was when I called AGAIN because although I had been told my balance was "0" I had another $15.00 late fee attached. STILL, NONE OF THE LATE, DELINQUENT, PAST DUE REFLECTED ON MY STATEMENTS. When I called, they said they would waive the $15.00 and I requested they close the account at that time. Oh, they did but they also ***orted me to the ************* stating I had late pmts. STILL NOTHING REFLECTING SUCH ON ANY STATEMENTS. This transaction caused a "51" point decrease on my credit rating. Yes, a 51 point decrease. I am still fighting with them on this. Now let's move to my "service" pmts. They are telling me again, their pmt requests are being denied by my bank. I go online, call, text, and chat to get this resolved. .ALL OF THEIR WEBSITES ARE REFLECTING A 404 ERROR. I HAVE NO WAY OF SEEING MY ACCOUNT OR ANYTHING ELSE. I was told by a customer service *** a supervisor would call me in an hour. It's been 3 hours and no call. Still no access to any of their sites..."404" error. Need I say more? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

      Aggressive trespassing sales-A Vinvent sales *** violated my no trespassing day two days in one day trying to sell us Vivent when we clearly had a sign in front of the door because we had this sneaking suspicion he would be back and he pushed it over to knock on our day AGAIN. His pitch was, Did your neighbors tell you what we are doing?? I called the police and I will ***ort to my ********* for permit violation if hes back.

      Needed to cancel service. After 45 min. on the phone finally able to do so. Having to pay an additional month for no service. Rip off. 3rd party handled call. Very difficult to understand and would not listen. It took 3 calls to cancel, all taking 20 min. plus. Will not use again or recommend to anyone!
