I started the cyber security course and not even a week into the program I requested a refund from Aston who was from the admissions department. I was told that I would be receiving my CompTia Cert and Security plus in this 6 month program and come to find out we don't receive any certs whatsoever you have to sign up after the program and pay additional fees to take the exam. The program had a lot of red flags the students asked questions the first week to the teacher regarding their certs they were misled to believe they would be receiving there certs as well and the teacher made it clear this is for educational purposes only AFTER the students already paid and were in the course. This is something that needs to be communicated beforehand to every potential student wanting to do this bootcamp. After the first week course started and it was watching video after video the students asked the teacher questions regarding a study guide for the first upcoming test and we received no guidance, no teaching, and no direction it was a joke! The test had nothing to do with the 24 chapters we had to watch, we had to ****** most of the questions on the test. I reached out to Aston regarding my concern and wanting a refund and made it clear that I am here to get my certs not sit in a class for 6 months! He offered to place me in a different program where I would be receiving my certs and I agreed and requested a refund of the remainder of what I paid I have yet to hear back regarding the program and my refund. I am requesting my entire refund and an investigation has been opened, I tried giving this school an opportunity to make it right but unfortunately they didn't.
