1 starI was told by my technician that I had a prepaid service remaining on my account, so I said he could preform the service. Later, my credit card was charged for it. I placed at least 4 calls to the customer service line. Each time I was told that the local branch would contact me about the dispute. I was never contacted. They simply put a note on the dispute saying no refund would be issued and closed the dispute. I only found this out by calling the service line again and requesting updates.I advise keeping careful track of what you pay in case they try to overcharge you.Terminix

1 starI feel I was scammed into their exclusion regarding mice. I saw one mouse and the next thing I know I am paying 5K to blow new insulation in the attic. The tech that came out when I first called placed unbaited traps in various places. He said thats using mouse psychology that they run along walls anyway and will get caught. Of course no mice in traps so I asked what about the one I saw. He replied Maybe it went back outside ENTIRE focus was their exclusion service and I am ashamed I fell for it. Focus was on a manager coming out to show me past mice in attic and how that can attract more mice due to urine. I was so panicked I would have more mice I fell for it. Never got any proof of what was done during the exclusion other than pretty picture of new attic insulation. I am ashamed I was scammed.Terminix

1 starNo one came to service my home, but Terminix charged my card for $143.Customer service reps were very ineffective at reaching the driver assigned to do my home...no one could reach him. **** high hopes of getting quality service from Terminix, and ended up getting let down by not receiving a service I paid for, and no one delivered service. I would never refer anyone to this company, and extremely disappointed for the false advertisement from this company.Terminix

1 starDo not use this company. I do not say this lightly, I have been a Terminix customer in three different states for 12 years. The service here is not even in the same league as what I have experienced elsewhere. The local office has no idea what is going on, theyre disorganized and they dont communicate effectively with their customers. The guys who do the work are great, when I can get them here. Appointments are made, no one shows up, even with text confirmation. After the first treatment, as weather warmed up, I had an ant trail about 2 inches wide circling my house. There were trails inside my house as well. I called to have the area retreated and I couldnt get a response for three weeks. In the meantime I had to go research and figure out how to deal with it myself. In addition, when I had the first treatment they sent around an inspector to check for rodent activity. He tried to sell me a $7000 mitigation and insulation in my basement. Seriously? I called my home inspector and contractor about that and they couldnt stop laughing, so I knew Terminix was trying to sell me something I do not need, like the termite stations. When they finally did show up to retreat, I had them remove the termite stuff. After the next treatment, all the pests came back, so I called to cancel services. The main office said the local office was in charge of canceling services, refunds, etc. It took a few weeks to get a hold of the local office, where I was told that they had no power to do anything. Much back and forth later, I was told everything was cancelled and I wouldnt be charged anymore. Until I got charged the next month again and the month after. During time Im calling and emailing the local office. Finally thought it was sorted out this week, the local office manager emailed and said everything was cancelled, no more bills. Until Saturday, they charged me $1536, leaving me with no money for my mortgage, car payment or food. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!Terminix

1 starOh *****, why did you quit/retire/fired? You were the ONLY bright spot at Terminix. We were all in for $3200+ to get rid of termites, we had an appointment, we had the tenants vacate, we were ready...AND Nothing!No one showed up, no one called, no one cared.What happened? Someone at Terminix decided to cancel the job the day before it was scheduled and then decided to NOT to call, email or contact us to let us know. So the tenants moved all their delicate items out for no reason. Since it was the heat treatment, they (tenants) didn't want these things ruined. As with all the other complaints, no call no show from Terminix is a common theme and we are just another customer looking to give them money for c*** service, c*** customer relations and c*** overall experiences We'll be seeing you Terminix in small claims court.Terminix

1 starI am a previous customer who has ran into some financial hardship and has canceled my service. The local branch manager has neglected the cancellation of my service (requested 12/2022) and for 2 billing cycles and I finally had to revert to reaching out to the call center to cancel my service due to local branch manager providing horrible customer service. Once the service was cancel (05/2023) by the call center, the request for a refund for 2 billing cycles was initiation by the call center. The call center has provided me information that the ticket was resolved by local branch manager but I still has not received a refund. I have called almost every week and I continue to not receive a refund as well as the call center keeps submitting tickets to local branch manager who tags the tickets as resolved. I have tried my best to give the Terminix my future business once my financial hardship turns around and recommend others to the services Terminix provides but after this encounter I will no longer do so. This is the worst experience I have ever dealt with and local branch manager does not value the reputation of Terminix.Terminix

1 starWe signed our contract in Oct. 2022 for bedbugs after the girl that came out to do the initial inspection and contract signed after she said it should only take 1 or 2 appointments, that she's never had to do more than 2 visits as a tech. Here we are in July 2023 and they are still here and they won't come out anymore. The Rolling ******* office said the 6 month warranty is over. What 6 months warranty. I can't find anything about a 6 month warranty in the contract. I thought they would be coming out until the job is done. The tech would come and say he didn't see anything. 1 particular time I found 12 bugs all in the same spot. I called the ***** customer service number so many times, "We're sorry we will have the manager/supervisor call you" They never once called us. The tech gave us his supervisors number, he never called back. I told customer service I wanted another set of eyes to come out. Maybe they could see what **** couldn't. The *********************** cancelled that appt. They wouldn't let anyone else take a look. Let's mention the appointments made that no one showed up for...The tech blamed the supervisor for not booking the appt every time. I reported that with no call back. I've done everything to get this problem fixed with no luck. I called June 12th, and the customer service even told me to ask for a refund. $1800+ and 8 months, you think the job would be done, nope. ***** number just pushes it to the office and the office ignores you. I want my money back or the job done.Terminix

1 starI use terminix for monthly service. Last time they came out, the inspector reported Termite Issues. This led to someone else coming out and inspecting concluding that we had a major infestation, pointing out termite eggs all over our patio floor (they were in one small concentrated area). If we didn't pay $1970 on the spot for a plan we would end up needing to tent the house at a cost of $8200. We reluctantly signed up. When they came out to treat the house, the rep said we did not have a major issue. The only problem we had was a small one in some wood on our patio roof (which is 90% plastic) which he treated. The "eggs" were wood shavings. He looked in the attic and said there were no issues. He was here for less than an hour, and most of that was on the phone with terminix trying to find out why we were told we had a major problem when we did not. I called to complain. A very understanding rep listened, appalled at my situation and promised it would be addressed. A few days later I found out that a neighbour is getting their house tented gor $2100..not exactly $8200). A 'manager" finally called back and proceeded to ignore everything I was telling him, refusing to refund a *****, stating I signed up so I have to pay...I was completely misled by the 2nd person that came out. 1st and 3rd were great. I feel like I was given worse than the "used car salesman" treatment scare mongering at its best. Be very aware and careful before falling for their lies and conman approach, preying on people that don't know... Shame on you terminix. Suffice to say I will be cancelling my monthly service. Do not use this company, they just want your money and will lie and exaggerate issues, then when you find out "tough luck, you signed you pay" I run my own business, if I ran it like this I would not be in business long. I was bullied, and scared into signing up and I have nowhere to turn to..out $1970 for a job that took about ***** minutes...I wish I could have left zero starsTerminix

1 starFirst, let me start by saying Ive used Terminix before with no problems, and so this recent experience that Ive had with a bed beg removal I spent $1750. on the first service, I took my elderly mother who is in the wheelchair to a hotel overnight so the technicians consult come and service my apartment at 8 AM. The technician did not show up until 12:30 in the afternoon I asked the hotel for a late check out and that was at 1 oclock. I had to leave the technician here while I go pick up my family from the hotel I seen bedbug shortly after the service was completed which I was told on the first service at 80% will be gone on the second service 100% will be gone and I will be covered for six months after that Ive been calling for an appointment no one has been giving me appointments and then the technicians do show up I dont get a heads up. They showed up there falsifying documents stating that they service my apartment and didnt Ive been calling trying to get some help. No one has been helping me. Ive been leaving messages for the supervisor named ***, who I finally did speak to. He was very rude. He was very disrespectful. He hung up on me. Ive never ever in my life received services like this before. I didnt make you guys wait for your money so I dont feel like I should have to wait for my services Ive been trying to get a refund for over three weeks now with no help.Terminix

1 starFor the last 4 months I have tried cancelling my service since I have moved. I am still getting billed every month and and having to call every month to cancel and dispute the charges for services I no longer need/want. Every month I call its a new excuse and Im told it wont happen again. Then the next month I do it all over. Then they have the audacity to ask if I want to move my service to my new address. Use a local pest control. Because theyll actually work with you and not blame you for their lack of attention to detail.Terminix
