2 starsPut in a service request for a first time pest treatment at a residence in **********. I mentioned the $50 discount that is heavily advertised on the Terminix website at the time of checkout. The customer service agent completing the order told me that I was wrong, and that I should have told her about the discount before. She also complained about other customer service agents on her team, which seems to be a general trend across the Terminix call center culture.The technician was nice and helpful, and the service seemed to have helped, but I never received the $50 discount. I have called back about it numerous times, and have even been given a confirmation number of ******** for the refund. Nothing has come through, and another week has passed.Why would you advertise a 50 dollar discount for new customers, and then not honor it? I have been told by several of your customer service agents that a refund is on its way, but I'm still waiting for the money. This is unacceptable. I will not ever use this company again unless they hold to their word. I'm old school, and I still believe in respect. Let's see if you do, Terminix.Terminix

1 star******** will not return calls or show up for appointments. Still have live termits after a year can not get anyone to come do anything mean while they charge my credit card $178 a month for 7 years on ****** bill. That is just about 50% interest this should be eleagal. I need help to do something about them. And my termites. Very unprofessional service. Preying on older people and not delivering.Terminix

1 starWould give zero stars. They came out and quoted us 12k for squirrel removal and remediation. Had 2 other companies come out who both said there are no squirrels and the hole terminix saw is actually a patch from a previous wildlife company closing it off. Complete liars just trying to make $$!Terminix

1 starI discovered while reviewing my 87 yr old mother's finances that she had been charged $23,000 for a number of services from Terminix (***********, **) for her 1500 sqft home. Her original call was asking if there were termites because of a mud streak on her foundation. She said she was frightened that she was told her foundation had many infestations of insects and animals, though the inspection did not yield any evidence. Still they quoted her a very complicated set of services and pressured her to sign a contract.The work was broken into a half dozen different quotes, most of which were described only as "repair" or "installation." Three quotes specified something specific enough to evaluate: $6700 to clean out the crawlspace, $3290 to replace gutter-guards that were only 1 year old, and $900 for unspecified electrical services. All of these seem to be 2-3 times what one should expect to pay for the service. Some of the quotes were pre-payment for 6-7 future treatments. I would like to review these in detail, but when I attempted to call the 800 number the person was unable to tell me what work was done. I would like this account to be reviewed as I believe the local representatives preyed on an 87 year old widow and overcharged her for services that it is not even clear she needed.Terminix

1 starWe have paid $2,300.00 to treat 2 rooms for bedbugs in *************. We hired them hoping for the heat treatment they advertise. First thing they did was tell us they dont do that. So they get there and said they treated the house but they didnt have the mattress covers which is one of the most important parts. He stated they ordered them and would get them in a few days. Well we are over 1 week out.... Still no covers and still a bunch of bedbugs. I called to schedule my 14 day respray because it still is not showing on my account. The said they would schedule it. 3 days later it still isnt scheduled. I called back and the rep stated that when I called again the day before it restarted the 24 hour clock on how long it takes to schedule an appointment. I told her i only called once. I ask about the mattress covers and she stated that was not in my account notes. So basically I have paid $2,300.00 to be living out of garbage bags and sleeping in my living room for nothing. because nothing has changed since this all began.Terminix

1 starServices were not done as defined in the contract, rodents not terminated as was the main purpose for signing the contract, and damages were left behind after the service date. The last thing I wanted to have to do is catch a mouse myself on my kitchen counter to dispose of. There were many sleepless nights as I listened to them in my walls. I spoke to customer service on four separate occasions who all promised escalation and yet I never received a call back. One call did result in the original salesman coming back to my house where the original service was done and he took pictures of the damage and a copy of the check I wrote to an electrician to fix damages. I also called the district manager and left a message twice and never received a call back. I spent almost $8000 and the job was a quick get in and get out never to be heard from again. As a single woman I am speculating that *** play into the lack of service and follow up. What an absolute nightmare this has been!Terminix

1 starSupposedly Terminix outshines competitors with customer service. I can attest they do NOT. They confirm appointments with you but don't call or show and then when you have to call there is nothing that can be done except take the next available appointment. When I need to be home for this appointment no concern is given the inconvenience caused. I asked to speak with a manager at the local office to see if I could possibly get a tech the day after being missed but ******* or anyone else ever called although I was assured by the same powerless customer "service" black hole she had passed the message of their failure and my frustration. I will be riding out my contracts for 2 services I have and then will be looking to spend my money elsewhere preferrably locally. After decades as customers I am very disappointed in the poor service received as well as the lack of concern or effort to fix it adequately. I wasn't asking for the moon or the stars just a simple call back to see if I could be accommodated for their failure to show as committed. Now I need to make special arrangements for the next time they are scheduled. I sure hope they show up then. This is an ongoing issue since April 23rd.Terminix

1 star******! I'm headed back to *****. At least they don't mind services black clients and make up any bogus reason to cancel their service. My service was cancelled supossedly due to denial of service?? I NEVER denied service....they scheduled me twice at a time WHEN NOBODY WOULD BE HOME. Each time i received the text reminder that someone would be at my home the next day i texted back advising the tech that per my conversation with the sales rep when i first signed up for Terminix, my appointments ALWAYS have to be on a Saturdays. After the first initial appointment all of that went out the window. From then on i was scheduled whenever they wanted to. I have the screenshots from both conversations and copy of email with one of their team members letting them know NO ONE WOULD BE HOME AND THAT I NEEDED A SATURDAY. I call to confirm day and time of Saturday appointment and was advised my service has been cancelled due to refusal???!!! SMH All lies!!....i never refused. I just needed a time when i would be home. That simple. And the weird thing is i have white co workers and other associates who use Terminix and are given the option to schedule service at their convenience without their service being cancelled. I will be filing a federal complaint against them next with the federal trade Commision. Their actions are not acceptable. Its 2024..please treat us equal.Terminix

1 starIf I could go no stars I would. When they were first hired they were here.. like immediately here.. nonstop text confirmations promises on we will do this and that and pay the monthly fee. No cancellation but we will take away your original service that you paid for. Their office is no where to be found and every promise; yep because word of mouth kinda is they cant all of a sudden fulfill. The original Salesman **** talked quite a good game. No more black widows no more ********* drilling bees.. we will handle any pest just pay the monthly fee. OKAY liar. So after Months and months about the ********* bees and black widows. Now the response is.. and I quoteif you see one we will kill it okay now you owe me 200 dollars because I see them and kill them myself because they are on my front porch and kinda freaky when they drop down at night. Next bees. I need bees I have a garden and flowers and trees. Now their response is to let them pollinate and after they drill the c*** out of your home we will then murder them. Not seal.. BOTTOM line and I have no problem telling a business they are amazing but this company is seriously all for the sale and no on .. I MEAN no one is here to take care of you after. Absolutely terrible scam. Its a shame. Better off with a local guy.this company is seriously the worst so if you had a positive experience you are lucky. We have them so many chances to make this better so it wasnt a concern to us and they made our problem even more stressful because they make it our problem and our money. When I hire someone its because I cant do it myself and what a let down to put trust into a company a big one too and such a scammy crappy experience. I hope this makes it better but based on the fact they list an address to a company that doesnt exist its a shame to do this to just people that needed your expertise. IckTerminix
