My car was hit by a driver driving an **** rental car.The accident took place in *************, **. The other driver reported the accident to **** over phone. A claim number given to him by ****. ********* for **** cars in handled by Sedgwick Claims management services. My insurance company has tried to reach Sedgwick several times over email and phone. I have tried to call Sedgwick's 800 number as well as the **** customer helpline number (who sent me to ************************** number). I was put on hold for about an hour and after that I disconnected. It seems there is no way to contact Sedgwick and settle my claim.

Amazon Truck hits my parked car, apparently this company handles the claims. I contacted them and the representative ***************************** who's managed by *************** takes the call and instructs me to take my car to a repair shop for an estimate and that she'll have the repair shop paid for their work and provide me with a rental car. Well, it's been over a month, and I have been calling them to check on the status, she tells me it's being reviewed, then takes another few weeks, goes on vacation. I keep calling and asking for help, no one can assist but her. When she finally reaches back several weeks later she now says that they are only going to pay the work partially for the needed work. When I replied that that's not what we had agreed she hung up the phone and now wont even answer.

Horrible customer service! ********************** providing for **** Liability Claims might have ****'s best interest in mind, but not the customer with the issue. DDR Boring ******************** broke our concrete driveway pad while installing **** underground cables. I was told to call 5 different phone numbers before I could even submit a claim through Sedgwick. Once the claim was submitted, no updates or status from Sedgwick.I always had to contact them concerning my claim with the following issues over a 3 month period:- 1 hour 5 minute on-hold plus (I had to go)- "This call-in number is not staffed" many times during their business hours!- 45 minutes on-hold, then "This call-in number is not staffed." Then, the system hung up.- Voicemails after hours were never returned.- Multiple emails never responded to.- Phone reps had me email photos and report 3 times.- Sedgwick case managers were switched twice, and neither contacted me.-Actually got an email stating "send an invoice of the repair" and Sedgwick would pay, but no one had a record of that at Sedgwick...I forwarded it back to them with no response.Sedgwick determined that ****************************** was at fault for the damage and closed my claim without informing me. I contacted ********* and they said they did not do the work, contact DDR Boring. Requested Sedgwick to re-open the claim against DDR. Supervisor did, but could not find DDR in ****'s contractor list, so closed claim again...without informing me. Sedgwick's rep could not do anything else and told me to get a "3rd party involved" (an attorney) as her only suggestion.I wrote a BBB complaint against ****. Exceptional rep from **** Office of the ********* worked with me and contacted DDR. Ultimately, DDR replaced the concrete pad that they damaged. However, without my persistence and the help of BBB, Sedgwick did not do anything to help me get this damage fixed! They were worthless to me, increased my frustration, and wasted hours of my time!

We have tried to reach this company and their adjuster ******************* to no avail. Sitting with a broken storefront window puts my business, its employees and clients at risk. A contractor we employ has admitted to their responsibility and all we want is some direction as to the next steps to have glass replaced as well as tinted film and signage replaced. The contractors insurance company selected this company to be their representative shame on both of them. For now I will direct my displeasure publicly at this organization the next will be at the insurance company for knowingly choosing this terrible business. Just look at their BBB ratings and the number of complaints filled against them

Wish I could give 0 stars! I was out on leave for 8 weeks due to massive reconstruction surgery due to cancer side affects and kidney failure. I have had nothing but issues getting payment and they are currently denying last week of pay because I dont have a chart note. My doctor repeated my labs and did not release me until we verified kidney function but due to not being seen in office and just having a phone call, they are denying that week. The stress of a critical illness is enough. The fight for pay is ridiculous!

AWEFUL Do not use them. The call center is nice and they pick up but you can never get past the call center. They do not know what to do and when they try no one is available. Getting your PFML is beyond easy, takes weeks after a claim is submitted to get paid. They do not care about people. I am sure UHG uses them as they are cheaper then other places. Stay away from this company.

Worst company ever to deal with! Very confusing and overwhelming process because of someone elses negligence. Representative not at all helpful and extremely abrupt. I ha e lost tons as was not released to go back to work and in one week was forced to see 5 different ******************************* cards they give you for prescriptions do not work, No empathy, no desire to help, no communication.

Sedgwick starts their webpage talking about empathy and care for people. Yet, in practice, they show zero empathy and care.I lost my leg in a work accident. The physician wont release me now because he prescribed physical therapy and the Sedgwick adjuster wont get it setup and approved. I have tried for months to get into physical therapy. At the same time, they have been absolutely horrible about paying my weekly wages as the law requires. They clearly have me listed as being out under workers compensation, but they havent paid me 4 out of the last 5 weeks. Is this empathetic? Is this what my employer pays for?Their own attorney has said they should be paying me but he cannot get the adjuster to respond. I already have lost more than 1/3 of my income so going a month without pay is brutal. Were it not for friends, family and a couple very understanding creditors, I would be homeless. As it is, because of their frequent missed payments, I have paid hundreds in late penalties and bank fees. Do they have any empathy or concern for the employees of their clients? A company is only as good as its people and I see no empathy or concern in an adjuster who will not even talk to the companys own attorney or follow through with post operative physical therapy for a doctor they required a person to use.

I was assigned a Sedgwick claim number after ********** assigned third party carpet installers severely damaged my ceiling in April. My claim was being handled by *****************************, who up until a point was very good and communicative. I had been ghosted by different repair contractors, which is not Sedgwick's fault. I let ******* know that I did not want to work with the original company, because the contractor they sent to my house was not only grotesquely offensive in conversation but also ghosted me on several agreed upon repair dates. He even called me two days after ghosting a scheduled repair, only to hang up after claiming he had the wrong number. So the point is, I did not want to work with the original company, who will be receiving their own review. I had been trying to get ahold of ******* for some weeks now, to no avail. Calling the number she gave me only brings me to the general call line, and whenever I ask for her I'm told she's out of office. I sent her an email on June 6 asking her to urgently call me regarding the claim, as yet another contractor had failed to respond after providing an estimate and timeline. Today I received a letter dated June 7th that ******* had tendered the claim to the original flooring company that caused the damage, against my wishes, while also ignoring communications sent to her. This conduct is beyond unprofessional, and I am beyond frustrated. ******* had assured me that Sedgwick would handle the situation if contractors continued to give me issues, and then dumps me back where I started with the one contractor I specifically requested not to work with. I am coming up on THREE MONTHS with a GAPING HOLE in my ceiling, a broken TV, paying $277/mo I do not have for a storage unit to keep my belongings in (As this happened in the middle of a move and I can't put items in that room until fixed), and the general lack of peace of mind that my house is in a good state. I would like to be compensated for all of these things.
