I took out a $500.00 loan with GTF when I was in an extreme financial bind. I knew it was expensive kind of lending but here we are today almost May and despite having paid to them a total of $915 thus far the information in the loan system says my balance stands at $708 owed as of today. So they have received payment of $915 on a $500 loan and I still owe according to them over two hundred dollars more than I originally borrowed. As I mentioned before, I knew it was a relatively expensive form of borrowing but the numbers/percentages in the paperwork don't adequately reflect the reality of the actual true cost of borrowing money in this loan.

Good Morning.  While we are Wakpamni Lake Community Corp, we do not have a lending Program with the name of GTF.  We do manage a lot of lending programs and I need the name of the one Mr. Buckley has his account with.

Lender name is Global Trust Funding.

      Email from them attached

      Customer Answer

      Date: 04/22/2024

There is a copy of the email sent today by GFT which also clearly shows the tribe and it's address at the bottom of the email.  I sent it earlier but thought I'd send it again to try to be helpful and hopeful a satisfactory resolution can be achieved.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 04/29/2024

So it appears that the company still doesn't acknowledge the validity of the information I've provided, nor taken any steps to address the complaint at this point?  This is the first complaint I've ever made so I'm unsure of the process going forward?  Is it time to explore legal options when businesses refuse to address the complaints as a general rule?  I cannot even find licensing information for the company in California.  I'm just seeking guidance for what happens in these circumstances?   As mentioned I've never done this before and never hope to again.  Thank you

I borrowed $600 while I was in need of cash due to some unexpected expenses. Unfortunately, the borrowing made everything worse. The bi-weekly payment of $186 is immediately debited from the account bi-weekly making it impossible to pay back to "avoid further interest". After a bit of research, it seems these loans are predatory and charge outrageous interest looping you into a vicious cycle. Unfortunately I had to withdraw my ACH Authorization. Today I received a text message from them that was unprofessional, aggressive and rude. Stating I had been "ignoring them" but I could not find any prior communication from them. I'm not sure what happened but that is poor customer service especially regarding such a sensitive . I would like to settle my account for the amount borrowed of $600 (they have already received a payment of $186) which means they will have a total of $786 on this loan. I can offer $25 bi-weekly payments or 1 monthly payment of $50 until the $600 is paid back but I cannot do any more. Thank you.

I needed money to pay a bill right away and took out a Payday Loan by phone/online in the amount of $700. They sent me a 20-page contract which I couldn’t read on my phone but did sign not realizing the predatory interest they would be charging me. According to ******* ******** records I have made 25 bi-weekly payments of $158.38 & 1 payment of $165.95, which is a total of $4,125.45 and they are saying I still owe over $2,000 with another payment due tomorrow.
I have since learned that AZ prohibits ****** ***** and ******* ****** is located in SD which limits payday loan rates to 36% which would be $252 In interest for a total of $952.
I have repeatedly contacted the company to get a copy of the contract that I could read, asked the interest rate, given them my current phone number without any of this being done until today, 4/10/24.
I have already paid them almost 6 times what I barrowed and they still want over $2,000 cash to clear this $700 loan. I feel my loan should be closed and at least $3,00 be refunded. This company should be closed and never be allowed to make another predatory loan.

I wanted to see what sort of loan I qualified for. After completing the application, the amount of the loan offered was far lower than was acceptable. Additionally, the interest rate is 684%, 16 payments of $189 over 16 months for principle amount of $600. That, as far as I know is usury. I closed the web page, and I DID NOT ACCEPT THE LOAN. To my horror, I found the loan was processed anyway, and $600 was deposited to my checking account. I have emailed a notice of cancellation but have not yet received a response. I feel their website is is deceptive. I want the loan cancelled, with no money owing and no attempts to debit my account.

In January I received a loan for $300. I have since paid that and some more off. It said that I was almost done with my payments, but now I’ve been asked to pay way more. Almost $1100 in total for a $300 loan. I would like to talk to someone about considering my account settled and closed since I have paid the loan amount off and more in interest.

I have a loan with this company (Fast Fund Lending, ************************* ************* *********************************. I have never had a late payment or had a payment decline with them. But it is coming close to the time when my scheduled auto payments will be ending and my loan will be paid in full, so I reached out to the company asking to get something in writing to acknowledge my final payment date. I emailed for a week straight. I called and talked to a representative, a supervisor, and a manger. They all refused to assist me with this, unless I miss work to get on a conference call with them so they can call my bank to verify my contact info with my bank. This company is auto withdrawing money from my account every pay period but has the audacity to refuse to send me an email stating when my last payment will be unless I can take time off work to get on a call with them and my bank. There is zero need for them to verify anything with my bank at this point when my loan should be almost paid off and I have never missed a payment, never been late on a payment etc. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever encountered and the people who responded to my emails (when they bothered to respond at all - sometimes my emails went unanswered) claimed to not know who I was after I gave them my full name, phone number, last 4 of my SS #, my case #, my application # etc. They are trying to claim that their refusal to help me by simply responding to my email and letting me know my payoff date is for protection of my own privacy, but its obvious that their refusal to state my final payment date in writing is so they can continue to charge you after its paid off.
