    Purchased vehicle warranty February 2020, went to use it for a repair recently never realized that the warranty stated I purchased a new vehicle and that the policy stated null for an odometer ready for ***** miles i called to speak with a representative from the warranty company who told me to speak with the dealership. The manager from the dealership stated that I purchased a new vehicle although there was over ***** miles on the vehicle when purchased which makes it used and the only way to resolve the issue is to pay an additional fee for an extended warranty. I purchased a used vehicle there for the warranty should have been marked correctly for a used vehicle and the policy for the warranty should have a higher mileage for the warranty.

    Elderly family member's Honda was stalling. Was towed to dealership. Family member was called the next day and was told that the repairs would include new alternator and spark plugs which would add up to around $1500. The work was consented. Because it was a tow-in, my family member expected to be without the car for several days, so they went ahead and rented a vehicle at Enterprise. When a few days passed, they decided to go to Balise directly about the status of the vehicle because calls were not being returned. They were told that the work on the vehicle was completed several days before, even though not one of the 4 numbers given received a call, missed call or message from any Balise number. The total for repairs was $2355.70. My family member was charged for items unrelated to the stalling issue, specifically Cooling system flush, adjust valves with gasket, pollen filter, adjust brakes, automatic transmission service. All of these items added up to $703.37 of services that were not given any type of consent for completion because they had nothing to do with the original issue, which was that the vehicle was stalling. The service advisor did not return calls. I reached out to the service manager and when I asked that they be refunded the $703.37 because it was not authorized services, he stated that if my family members were incompetent to take care of their affairs, then they shouldn't be allowed to. He said that he did not have the authority to credit the $703.37, only the General Manager could. I asked for his name and number and he was unwilling to give it and said that he would address it with him when he came back to work as he was presently out of the country. I persisted and he gave me the name ******************************* ********. I will be calling him next, but I doubt that he will answer or even address the issue since this deals with the elderly and clearly the Balise organization does not respect the elderly.
